How often should one take a rest from using pheros? And for how long?

The typical suggestion is 1-2 days a week, with the whole day being the suggested time. Let you mind recover from being bombarded by a higher than average phero signature, ya know? 😉

I did take a whole day off yesterday (Friday), and today I only used some in the afternoon.

So, my mind needs to recover? I would like to understand this a bit more 🙂

Now should this be randomly spread out or is it all the same if it is, lets say, I only take those 1-2 days off on the weekend?

I usually take Sunday and holidays off! Can’t say it makes any personal difference as I don’t feel a damn thing anyway. Just savin’ on mones when I’m not around people. However I’m helping save the whales and earth since artificial mones are derived from petroleum distillates.

Hi SK

There is no set rule on this. Members take breaks for various reasons. The standard is 1 to 2 days a week. This is done for a few reasons. It gives the neurotransmitters time to replenish. It helps to sustain the self effects sometimes caused by the mones. Keeps your perspective fresh. Just like with anything else being exposed to something everyday, including hits, can make you take it for granted. Taking the break helps you to see more clearly if its you or the mones.

> Now should this be randomly spread out or is it all the same if it is, lets say, I only take those 1-2 days off on the weekend?

That’s up to you really. I take various days off depending on my need to use mones. If I am not going out or just running some errands I wont always use them.

> [@](#):
>
> So, my mind needs to recover? I would like to understand this a bit more

Well yes and no LOL I wouldn’t call it your mind needing to recover. Your “mind” is fine with mone use its your neurotransmitters.

Mones trigger the neurotransmitters in the brain sending signals to various other parts of the body and brain (depending on the molecule) evoking a emotion or feeling which causes a response.

Now many factors can deplete the neurotransmitters in the brain. Poor diet, lack of exercise, Lack of certain vitamins in the system, Drugs. Caffeine which depletes by causing rapid fire or the neurotransmitters resulting in that “coming down” feeling many get when the caffeine begins to leave the system.

The depletion of your neurotransmitters generally causes decreased mental performance, tiredness, down feelings, lack of concentration and mental focus.

Now one of the causes they list for depletion is…

> [@](#):
>
> Sensory overload. The brain is bombarded by sounds, rapid visual effects from television, movies, electronic monitors flickering faster than the eye can detect, radio waves, fluorescent artificial light, chemical sensitivities, rapid changes in hormone levels, rapid changes in barometric pressure, head cold or sinus congestion, rapid changes in blood sugars, dehydration, inadequate exposure to sunlight (hence the excessive conversion of serotonin to melatonin), and hepatobiliary dysfunction. All of this requires the brain to modulate this sensory bombardment so that you can stay focused on the task in front of you. Brain overload means that you have to literally calm yourself down.

[Pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) also bombard the brain with sensory stimulus. Taking time off can help replenish and calm the brain. How much time may be different for you then me depending on health nutrition etc etc…

To some people this may sound a little scary. I assure you that these processes go on in our brains all day everyday and do not damage the brain in any way. It occurs naturally. Unless your extremely sick or very malnourished your neurotransmitters will replenish themselves in time. But if your exposed to something that causes depletion al the time like stress or mones then it occurs more often.

Extreme users of mones like to keep the brain in high form to get the best possible effects and of course to aid in other functions of the brain. Just like some people watch what they eat to maintain optimal health or follow a fitness program to keep the body at maximum strength and functionality we do certain things to maintain proper levels of neurotransmitters.

Taking breaks from using mones…just like you give you body a day or two recovery when on a exercise regimen.

Eating healthy foods that promote replenishing of transmitters.

Proteins, avocado, banana, red plum, tomatoes, pineapples, eggplants, walnuts, and possibly coffee are just some

Vitamins such as nootropics (smart drugs) to maintain a healthy active brain. Jasmin is into this and I am just starting to use the more popular ones now. They are pretty amazing but like anything else do your research

These links one of which I took the quote from above will help give you a basic understanding about this. I am sure you know some of this due to your profession but others may be interested as well.

[Neurotransmitter Repletion](http://www.drkaslow.com/html/neurotransmitter_repletion.html) (Its not a study just info from one of the stores I use)

This one is a blog but I like it for the content it lists about nootropics

[The High Energy Doctor: Brain Food from Wikipedia](http://thehighenergydoctor.blogspot.com/2007/08/brain-food-from-wikipedia.html)

[Neurotransmitter: optimal neurotransmitter-concisely neurotransmitter](http://www.neuroassist.com/)

[Neurotransmitter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotransmitters)

This link is the one I used when explaining it to my son (he was 13 at the time) It has good info though. He got a A by the way 😉

[Neuroscience For Kids - Explore the nervous system](http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/introb.html)

[BRAIN NEUROTRANSMITTERS](http://www.benbest.com/science/anatmind/anatmd10.html)

Now these are just basics but there are thousands of studies out there on this subject. I havnt listed studies because I would have pages and pages of them LOL

So its not something you “have to do” it is someting the hard core mone user likes to do.

Hope this helps a little 😉

Okay, that makes sense.

Also, what characterizes a “hard core [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) user”?

Heavy testers sometimes burn out… like me. But I try to find the upper limits of the pheromones, so I burn through the neurotransmitters and need to take a week or two off from time to time to replenish everything.

When I’m not testing heavy, I still take one or two days off a week. It helps keep the pheromone experience for me and those I’m with every day fresher.

So far, my testing and use of these products mostly consists of single items or fairly simple mixes (as I am still only a few months into doing this, and wanting to really understand each component first).

These “simpler” tests or mixes are usually throughout the whole day, with either a morning and an afternoon “spraying” or “dosing” (because I’ve noticed that they tend to last usually around 4-6 hours), or a more “cumulative” type of dosing, that starts with maybe a couple of sprays, and then adding another spray every couple hours causing more of a graduating/overlapping type of increase in dose.

During this time, I have only taken a few random days off, here and there. Like maybe three days or so, in total, since I began in February. I have not experienced any harmful effects, (that I know of), so far.

How does continuous daily usage affect effects, both self effects and effects on others?

I understand how one (and others) could become immune or used to the effects if the _same_ product(s) are used every day, but… wouldn’t effects still be self perceived or work on others just as strongly, if the products/mixes as well as the targets/situations are _varied_ on an almost daily basis?

Plus your neurotransmitters are “resting” from one type of effect or affect when different molecules with totally different types of effects/affects are used. Aren’t they?

LOL True Diane your a super mega tester 😃 I think you have burned out more times in 7 months since you started using mones then I have in my 9 Years but you have gotten some great results and shared some great information.

If you use high high doses for testing like Di does your gonna want to take longer breaks.
