Hey qualityc, I don’t see any research comparing the natural levels of pheromones produced in young vs. old.

As Tisha and others have mentioned (btw I am no expert Tisha 😛, I am surprised I haven’t been forgotten already 😃 ), its pretty much established that levels of _pheromones_ produced by humans correlate with the level of _ **hormones** _ produced in the body (the ratios of different pheromones are also dictated by type of bacteria existing on your skin which aid in conversion of one pheromone molecule to another).

As we age, our hormone production decreases but the level also depends on genetics, diet, fitness level, blood type etc. so I don’t believe there can ever be a general quantification of the difference between young vs old.

But the following publication might help you to get some idea. I don’t have the full paper though, maybe there is an age based comparison there. And I would leave it up to you to convert these amounts to mcg units.😉

"Simultaneous quantification of five odorous steroids (16-androstenes) in the axillary hair of men, " **Nixon A** (["Nixon A"[Author] - Search Results - PubMed](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Search&itool=pubmed_Citation&term=%22Nixon+A%22%5BAuthor%5D)), **Mallet AI** (["Mallet AI"[Author] - Search Results - PubMed](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Search&itool=pubmed_Citation&term=%22Mallet+AI%22%5BAuthor%5D)) and **Gower DB** (["Gower DB"[Author] - Search Results - PubMed](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Search&itool=pubmed_Citation&term=%22Gower+DB%22%5BAuthor%5D)), (Division of Biochemistry, United Medical School, Guy’s Hospital, London, England)

Quantities found (pmol/mg.hair, with approximate 24-h totals in parentheses) were:

[Androstenone](https://a314.com/product/turn-up-the-heat-tuth/) - 5 alpha-androst-16-en-3-one, 0-15 (0-433)
[Androstadienone](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/molecule-a/) - 4, 16-androstadien-3-one, 0-143 (0-4103)
Beta-Androstadienol - 5,16-androstadien-3 beta-ol, 0-3.5 (0-728)
Alpha-Androstenol- 5 alpha-androst-16-en-3 alpha-ol, 0-17 (0-1752)

Actually this statement is untrue. Go read the studies and abstracts section. Plenty has been proven, more is being discovered everyday. Perhaps your just here to flame a subject you dont understand instead of trying to understand it.

I suggest you do some research then go head to head with a expert.

I have already explained to you the reasons for your original question which why why can older men wear more.

I gave you links to scientific research **not** done by androtics or the pheromone community.

All science is about having a open mind. Without having a open mind nothing came be discovered. This forum is a research and developement forum, its all about discovery.

I think it’s well established amongst most scientists that [human pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) exist. The proof is all in the pudding though and the fact is they do work - try them out if you haven’t already. It’s only out of curiosity that I wonder how much relative none I’m wearing compared to the natural production of an average guy. Whether it’s 2x, 10x or 100x doesn’t concern me all that much because I’m getting hits anyway, to know would be interesting though.

Is it a fact that we evolved? That the universe was “created” at the moment of the big bang? Most people would assume so because of the overwhelming amount of evidence that suggests it to be true (same can be said about pheromones) but in reality “facts” are vague and fuzzy. If you want to get philosophical what at all can be proven? what counts as genuine knowledge?

Ahh yes true Corynebacterium has a effect on pheromone production as well. See I knew Nbully would come through. 😉

So does anyone know about the scientific answer to this question?

Im not debating anything, I was only wondering about none production levels.

Ok illc hange my statement, i understand trying to keep things short and making general statements will piss some pple off but well …

its true that we people have not scientifically proved a lot of statements made by us users of pheremones. It really doesnt matter. The debating can be left to the scientists.

The only thing i was wondering about was human none production and why some pple will say oh i can use 5 drops but a young person may overdose on one since many none products supposedly have more none in one drop that a human’s possible production.

Whether this is true or not im not sure and im just waiting for someone who actually knows. Its no use saying im right or wrong if the person answering doesnt know either.

my question is from questions ive heard from others as well as statements from members of other forums such as moderator idesign of love scent "There’s no possible way for a human male to produce the kind of -None in NPA, TE or any of the other -None products. Work out all you want, you’re still miles from anywhere close.

It occurs to me - and I’m sure that others have said it - that the advantage to increasing -None and Test naturally by working out and supplementing etc, is that its produced along with a healthy corollary production of other natural pheromones, hormones, etc. You could think of it as nature’s ultimate pheromone mix. As far as that goes, and its a long way.

[Synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) produce huge sensory loads for our “targets”. Playing it right, at the right time and place, its a legal roofie. Emphasis is on the first part of the prior sentence. What we’re doing is specifically over-supplementing what we produce naturally, with specifically isolated pheromones to produce specific effects."

KualityC - I think I get what you are trying to say -

Why would more artificial -none be OK for an older man BECAUSE he produces less natural -none when the amount of -none in any artificial -none product makes the difference between the younger male and older male irrelevant?

I.E. Young Male produces 100 units, Old Male Produces 50 Units (50% less) but NPA ADDS 1000 Units so that essentially when wearing NPA the old male and young male have nearly identical TOTAL quantities of -none (as a percentage). However, qualitative evidence suggests (field reports) that the older male should be able to wear more NPA than the younger male (lets say twice the application amount). So that the younger male would have 1100 units of -none and the older male would have 2070 units of -none.

Essentially the older male would actually have significantly more -none with a higher application than the younger male… IF IT IS THE CASE that the artificial -none products has so much -none in an application then can be produced naturally then the corollary is that the reduced production by an older male **CANNOT be the reason** why the older male can get away with wearing more -none than the younger male.

HOWEVER, since field reports have shown that the older male can indeed wear more product we must know that either - there is some other reason than because he produces less - none **OR** the artificial -none product does not contain SIGNIFICANTLY more -none per application then the average male will produce naturally.

MY PERSONAL OPINION -

The amount of artificial -none in the products out there on a per application basis is not 100X or 10X what is produced by your average male… it is probably closer to being on par to what is produced by your average male on a per application basis.

AS WELL, as was said before - there are **cultural reasons** why an older male will be able to wear more artificial -none before OD (a stronger sexual aura is seen as being less aggressive on an older male).

FINALLY, Perhaps while -none production drops off, different natural 'mone production increases… maybe older males produce more 'rone or A1 ('dienone?) - pheromones which can buffer 'none and therefore allow the older guy to wear more artificial 'none than the younger male because he has more natural buffering pheromones.

YUP u totally get what i am trying to say.

I think u are right in that is possible that an older man produces other mones that buffer the mone.

What is actually happening im really not too sure.

Regarding field reports ive seen field reports in almost every controversial topic from fengshui to other magic charms amulets or other new agey stuff that may have little basis in reality so we have take all of that with a slight pinch of salt.

But it would be good to have a true expert tell us about the amounts of none in regular applications of products compared with natural production.

I think this is a super interesting question but i guess many pple just dont find it worthy of much thought.

Because as men age they make less testosterone. Testosterone is where anone generally comes from.

You can not give the exact dosage to any one individual. Every human is different and has a different chemical makeup. When we say that older men can wear more its from the Field reports that you dont hold much respect or value for even though field reports are the backbone of scientific discovery. We give members a general indication to help them find there own dosage. There are many other variables to consider like other peoples tolerance for high anone signatures as well. Buffering which you mention above is another variable.

In either case, young or old when wearing artificial mones you are using more then you naturally produce. How much more ? The answer would be different for every member in here. Which is why we encourage people to start low and work up.

You have been trying to fit a square peg in a round hole and I think your aware of that. Science just doesn’t work that way

Its been done but let me ask since your not satisfied with or except those answers which are given all over this forum, Who would you consider a “true expert” in a field that is still in its infancy of discovery ?

Hey Tish. I more or less understand what u are saying.

But my question is just one of curiosity and does not even need a scientific answer, its basically a technical question that most of these companies that produce products already kind of have.

How does the quantity of applications of mone products compare with natural production of different age ranges?

Thats about it really.

I have no arguments about anything u say.

Btw yes we cannot give an exact answer to how much none person A or person B produces. But we do have data on the topic i assume.

Its like if I ask hmmm how big is an average mans penis, and then people come on and say well it totally VARIES between man to man. We cant give a definite answer. Some men have been reported to have 30 inch penises. Ok if someone wants to give that kind of answer fair play but i assume that any bright human can give a better to that if they have have living in the world long enough.

You are trying to provide an answer to something which u are unsure about which is totally fine but I think it’s better to be unsure and maybe who knows someone might give us some data.

Im not arguing anything that you have stated Tish, its just that you know there will be more questions similar to this that other people have thought of and there may be more studies conducted on this in the future.

Its not really neccassary to shut the questioning down.

Might as well say… hmm who knows, maybe more studies will be done soon and we will have way better answer.

Now isnt that a better way to think about it.

Well at least I think its better than, I know the answer to the revelalant part of ur question but the part that we dont need to know, i dont have the answer yet but you dont need to know it. Its not important.
