Today I tested [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/), 3 sprays to the back of the neck. The weird thing is I couldn’t smell anything - except alcohol, when I held the bottle close. Isn’t Instant Female Magic supposed to… uhm… smell not so good already at 3 sprays? Thanks! ---

Most of us think that [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) has a definite smell to it. If it does not bother you - either good for you or you have a bad head cold - lol. Either way - I am sure there is nothing wrong with it. Every now and then you find someone who does not like the smell of something - Gegogi and a couple others do not like the smell of neroli - and then there are those who thing something does smell good. ---

That’s just it… I can’t smell anything! Neither good nor bad 😕 Is it possible that the bottle was, by mistake, only filled with the carrier (alcohol)? ---

Not everyone has the same sense of smell, which is also influenced by taste and vice versa. So maybe you just can’t pick the faint smell out. That doesn’t mean that others won’t, so keep that in mind. ---

I have noticed IFM with 2 or 3 sprays is okay in the office environment if you can soften the effect by A314+IS+CTTM+Instant Openess. Looks like A314 softens the bad effect on men for IFM. On females the IFM effect is really good. ---

Sorry for the late reply, I can’t visit the forum while in the office 😃 I have asked my sister to try it but she could also only smell the alcohol (sprayed on her wrist). I can smell the cover scent of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) or Turn Up The Heat or Shine all day long after a single application but get absolutely nothing (blank) from this one 😕 I’ll try a megadose for both scent and effect. If that still doesn’t help, I’ll have to assume something is wrong with this particular bottle and consider returning it. Problem is at its price ($47.95) even shipping costs me more ☹ ---

Right after you apply it, it’s diffusing really really quickly, so if you sniff it, you’re probably irritating your nose and making it go numb for a bit. So try waiting like. . . 15 minutes before you try smelling it. ---

It is possible that they forgot to put the scent or/and the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/). I believe that this happened to me recently for androstenone experimone, it didn’t smell like none at all, nothing like cat piss even at 22.5 mcg (I can smell androstenone from ammo). Ill do an OD test, great advice from gegogi, to make sure if it is only alcohol. Btw, don’t breath through ur nose for like 10 seconds, so the alcohol smell doesn’t throw u sense off. ---

I have a bottle of [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) and have used chemset androstadienone (A-1, active pheromone in Instant Female Magic) for years. They both smell terrible, similar to androstenone albeit much mellower (after the alcohol dries of course). Imagine dense pee and workout armpit mixed together and you’ll get the picture. 30% of males lack the receptor to detect androstenone and androstadienone may enjoy the same fate as it’s chemically related. I must say the effects from IFM/A-1 have been subtle to nothing for me most of the time, with one big exception: the monthly punishment. If a woman is suffering from hormone induced mood swings or PMS, IFM is the most obvious and fast working of any pheromone I have tried. The best test is to find a couple bitchy women on the rag, spray them and see what happens. If they lighten up, you got the real deal. If they beat you senseless, you may have alcohol… ---

Ye, I’ve read in another thread also that some can’t smell it at all. But the cover scent should still be there. My SO seems to be bitchy right before her peroid. PMSing… Not while she is on her period although I am reading a lot that IFM works best while they are actually having there period??? Does it work for both or more effective during one of the other? ---

Hello guys, I also have IFM, and I love it. I first ordered a TOGO bottle and after a big bottle. I can’t feel any smell in both of them, and I don’t think that they were from the same batch, as it went by about over a month between an order and the other. I just feel the smell of alcohol in it too. See ya Franz ---

Who cares about the smell (or lack thereof) if it works, right? Hey Franz, what do you mean by saying you love it? What does it do for you? 🙂 @northwestmichael: I for one have no idea but if it’s good for PMS then that by definition means BEFORE the period 😃 ---

PMS is a typical time of moodiness or depression for many, but certainly not all women. Some have emotional sensitivity during the period as well. I’ve known several women with serve depression during periods. At any rate, A-1 and products rich in it like IFM are shocking effective for hormone induced mood swings whether PMS or otherwise. Personally I don’t find A-1/IFM very useful outside the monthly punishment but what a great tool when you need it. I recall being stuck on vacation with a PMS GF and A-1 saved my life… ---

Hi Leif, when I type that I love it, I don’t mean about self effects, but how it works on the girls. When they are nervous, or have some depression, with 2-3 sprays it works like magic. on the other hand, I’m one of those that feel depressed with it. But I’ve to say that it’s one of the best working stuff that I have. See ya Franz ---

huh, my bottle doesn’t smell like anything either. I thought it was cause I couldn’t smell the phero. It just smells like rubbing alcohol. When did you buy yours Leif? I bought mine in early March. ---

Interesting how the same molecule helps women who have depression but actually induces it in us guys… Talking about mood and self effects, is there a phero/mix that has the same energizing and mood enhancing effects as caffeine but without the long term side effects? I would buy a truckload of it 😃 ---

OK, 2 potential hits while wearing [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/): 1. A couple of days ago it was the birthday of a colleague. We took a pause from work and celebrated. A girl came over from another office to join the “party”. Within minutes she began turning around to look my way (I was behind her, about 2-2.5 meters away). She kept turning back until my boss noticed it and also looked at me, with a “WTF?” kind of expression on his face. Ha ha (think Nelson from the Simpsons). 2. I was discussing some work related issues with a girl from the accounting dept today. At one point she showed me some papers and I moved closer so I could read the small print. The next thing I see is she’s playing with her hair (she’s the kind who’d never do it). I got the impression she was really shocked that she did what she did and didn’t understand why. She must have said to herself: “Huh? WTF is going on with me??” Ha ha take two. The problem is I can’t pin these down as being definitely the effect of IFM as I had been wearing -none the day before both times.
