So say a person tests a few products individually, and finds their sweet spot for each and decides to mix/layer products. Should he stay at the doses indicated by his “sweet spot” for lone products, or would it be more advisable to reduce the dosages of some/all products somewhat since effects could be synergistic instead of cumulative?

For example, if somebody figures their sweet spot for A314 to be at around three drops. But their sweet spot for [P93](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p93/) (Which it seems also has some status raising effects) is at around 20 mcg, would they do three drops of A314 and 20 mcg of P93, or might it be better to do 2 drops of A314 and 15 mcg of P93. Could two different products that produce similar results via different mechanisms have a 1+1=3 effect?

I don’t actually mean those specific products I’m just using them as an example.

That’s something that I’ve wondered my self, and personally what I think or do is test a mix out with said sweet spots then look out for effects and/or lack of synergistic effects all working in harmony with each other. If I then feel that something is not right thanks to previously testing out each product alone it’ll be easy to then take a guess at what effect is either lacking, or not working as it should due to the other [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) in your mix possibly messing up that signal.

So using your memory you then tweak whatever product/effect you think is not coming up to the surface, or being noticed because of whatever product/s possibly drowning out (or even changing) the product effect you’re not seeing. Ha, hope this makes sense. In other words tweak until you see what you want to see!

Sometimes a mix will look good on paper, but it has to be worn first in order to see if everything will work in harmony/conjunction or if tweaking will be necessary.

I would test out different mixes and see the results. From my personal experience the margin of error for a certain mix is pretty large, especially since you are applying a product on the skin that wears off and evaporates over time. It’s tricky, but in my opinion if you are in a certain range you will still get the effects. Mikoto is right with the tweeking, but luckily you have a pretty good range to play with if you do mess up and add too much of a product.

I have found out my short time that less is usually better. I would honestly go with the 2 drops of A314 and 15 mcg of [P93](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p93/). My personal opinion on this is that the more mones you use the less of each mone you need. I maybe be wrong this is just my opinion.

Its takes a lot of testing to gauge those things for yourself. Synergy and cumulative I believe are both viable but more synergy since A314 is like a full person and [P93](https://a314.com/product/p93/) by itself really is more like one smaller body part or organ.

For me some things I’ve tried from AD are just way too blatant in attracting attention for me in class and actually makes me uncomfortable. I dunno about other people but honestly mx292 is deadly Lmao. I’ve never in my life had 5-6 DIHL’s in my life lined up in one package (All these girls were sitting around me).

With the two product thing I lean more towards no in a theoretical manner. Theres a decent couple of molecules that have a lot of likenesses with A-nol and B-nol but there still diverse from nol so adding them together probably wouldn’t give you a 1 + 1 = 3 sort of thing. I think with every molecule you add to the mix you have the possibility to create a fuller immersion but you have to realize that the higher amount of variables the more likeliness of molecules pulling in different directions that will be contradictory to what you want.

I’m just rambling here but when you look at some of the wonderful mx’s that AD makes it makes you wonder how much time, effort, and creativity and contraindication consideration they have to look at before making them.

Yes, I have to agree with Olfact too. The more products you tend to add to a mix you’re trying to create the more complex that mix will get and change/morph into something entirely different. That’s why I personally always think that it’s very important to test something alone first, so you can get to know that product/molecule REALLY good so like that once you mix it with something that may possibly drown out that effect you’ll still be able to hear it call out for you and help strengthen its signal. Blah, confusing I know!
