Yeah, I was stunned when I heard this. I really liked her music. But, **she** should have gone to rehab. No, I’m not laughing. ---

She did, I believe she just got out of rehab in June, according to the news. ---

Sad news, not very surprising though… I hoped she would wake up one day and not do drugs anymore. I was really amazed when I first heard her, around 2005. It made me so happy, to know that there is some new r&b that’s as good as the old stuff, and as good sounding. I hope her journey will be more joyous now. ---

I’d only heard “Rehab” on the radio and didn’t like it at all. Now that the news of her death is all over the place I checked her out on Spotify. “Back to black” is really damn good, I don’t understand how it’s passed me by for all these years. I can’t remember ever hearing it though it must’ve been played a million times on the radio. Sad that she died so young. ---

OK so she was a talented person who decided to do drugs and throw it in everyone’s face. Me personally, I’d rather express my love and admiration for those who were murdered in the recent terror attacks in Norway. Sure I have Amy’s CD as I am a music lover, but seriously you chose the life you lead. Sorry but its just amazing to me how so many people have their status set to Amy Whinehouse RIP on facebook and G+. How quickly we in the USA forget what happened on our own soul that we should easily dismiss what The Norwegians are going through. My prayers are with them and may God bring peace and love to this world. ---

Of course the Norwegian massmurder is far worse than one dead junkie but her death is still tragic too. It’s not like we need to use our empathy sparingly lest it runs out. I’d say the contrary. ---

Very sad news, She wasted such talant. I cant say I was surprised though. You didnt need to be able to see the future to see where this girl was headed. Oddly she died at the same age as many of the idols she looked up to. Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones and Kurt Cobain all died at the age of 27. She had talked about the “club 27” so it makes you wonder. Either way R.I.P Amy, may you find the happiness your couldnt find here in the beyond. Tisha
