Has anyone here refilled to-go bottles? If so, how? I have some but they’re full of product and I’m not going to mess with them till they’re empty. It’s not immediately obvious how to open them though. Maybe slip a knife under the junction between sprayer and bottle and pry? Thanks, ---

I have many a to go bottle I plan to refill and re-use for some crazy combo ideas I have. The to go bottle is a screw off top. Really simple, just turn it like a bottle and presto it’s opened. From what I understand you don’t really want to expose the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) to air so I would correctly so, wait till their empty. I have a little funnel I will use for my dilutent and then a bottle dropper with measurements for adding the pheromones. I am sure one of our fine members will stop by and give a better method as they always do. I imagine it should work out well. ---

You can buy an excellent and much better atomizer at Sephora for $8: no labels, is designed to be easily refilled, doesn’t leak in your pocket, is a handsome sliver and emits a nice even mist blast. Even comes with a tiny funnel. I have 6 or 7 of them all topped off with custom mixes. ---

I have openned some of my large bottle and filled the to-go bottle with mones so I can take them with me when I go out. What happenes when exposed to air? Tish ---

i have also opened the lids on mine the first i got them coz i wanted to smell them without sprayin them on me at first. I dont think itll do to much if u do it only once or so, just make sure u put the lids back on tight. From now on tho wheneva i get new bottles i wont open them jsut in case ---

Oh, it shouldn’t be too big a deal if you expose them to air for a little while. Just don’t leave them unopened for any long amount of time, because the alcohol will evaporate and mess up the concentration of phero to diluent. ---

Atomizers are awesome for dispertion. For oil based pheromones and mixtures, I bought 4 ml roll-on bottles which I plan on filling with custom mixes later this week. ---

I have opened some of the bottles, but not for long and I also use them quickly. ---

Sephora is nice I suppose, IF you have one within 100 miles of you… (nothing like that around here, and I’ve been checking every perfumery in the area for atomizers). I tried refilling a To Go using a small “perfume/EO” funnel (brass) and I got more on me and the floor than in the bottle. Suggest using a dropper/pipette (like the kind sold at Androtics). Haven’t used one yet myself but “next time for sure” I’m going to give it a try. Couldn’t be worse than 10ml of 2X Shine I got all over the floor… The little 5ml samplers should refill the same way as the 10ml To Go’s. ---

Sephora sells online as well. However, there are many other sources of atomizers. Droppers are great for home use but just don’t cut it for applying on the run. ---

You need pliers to pull the top out of the compression fitting in the smaller ones – messy, easy to damage the tube or the sprayhead. ---

Y’all are confusing me with your talk about 10 ml To-Go bottles. Mine are all 5-ml (and there are LOTS of them) and they all unscrew easily. Are they using a new 5-ml bottle since January (last time I ordered)? ---

No Carrie the 5-ml bottles are the same and still unscrew. It’s the 2.5-ml sample vials Jasmin sends as a gift/sample. Those are a bit harder to unscrew. Don’t worry you’re OK 🙂 ---

Couldn’t be worse than 10ml of 2X Shine I got all over the floor… I refill my to-go bottles with a hypodermic needle and syringe, as it leaves almost no residue on the inside like pipettes, and they are graduated so you can suck up the amount you need. You can even recap the needle and store the pheros in it for a short time if you are creating custom mixes and/or refilling several bottles. Don’t forget to identify the syringes if you will be several different pheros at a time. Use a bigger gauge (like 17 or 18) for oils for better use, and any gauge for the alcohol based liquids (even insulin syringes). The needles create perfect drops, just move the syringe plunger a bit to get it unstuck for the first drop, or you may squirt out more than you wanted to. ---

A few funny thoughts crossed my mind, but I decided not to post them as not to start a flame lol 🙂 Im sure if you poked yourself, the alcohol will disinfect it. I used shine to disinfect my razor when on vacation when nothing was available. Made a nice shave! ---

I use them for refilling ink cartriges, printer cartriges, decanting colognes, etc. I was figuring on using that when it comes time to decant pheremones.
