I would like to know what exactly “research grade” products consist of. Are they essentially the exact same components used in the standard “name” products (Ammunition, Instant shine etc.) but sold as individual components to be mixed as needed? Thanks for any clarification. ---

Hi, jkstern. Welcome to the forum! Technically, all of the ingredients in our products are currently research grade. All American synthesized, and much purer than you’ll typically find (most exceeding Sigma-Aldrich spec). If we ever mass market the Instant line, we may look at ways of cutting costs (i.e., sourcing outside the US for some components), but our “research grade” line will always be research grade. What you find under the “Research Grade” category of our store is mostly our “ExperiMone” line. These are dosed [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), minus the easy descriptions. A little too over the head of most newbies, mostly only researchers and intense hobbyists buy these. ---

Thanks Jasmin for your reply. So essentially, say if I got the Alpha nol and Beta nol Experimone products I can simply mix them and I could get a mix equivalent to instant openness or instant honesty and anything in between dependent on the mix proportion? Also, are there sample vials available of all your product line? That would be very handy for a newbie. Or a beginner’s sampler kit of the most popular products? I’d say that would be the very best way to introduce new users to your products. ---

If you’re picking up Alpha nol and Beta nol to emulate the effects of IO and IH, you might as well pick up the instant line. Broken down to price per mcg, the instant line costs you about two bucks extra per bottle, and you get all the benefits of the extra ingredients - ie more diffusive carriers. ---

Right. I might just do that. I’m still trying to understand the product line a little better. An introductory kit would really hit the spot for me I think. ---

Yeah the experimone line isn’t the best route to go if you’re just starting out. It is pretty overwhelming at first, but don’t be shy to post any questions you have on the forum.The instant line is very easy to use, yet the products are simple and diverse enough thats they’re very easy to mix. oh yeah and welcome aboard! ---

It’s impossible to make [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) and Instant Honesty from the ExperiMones. No small samples right now, but spray based minis are planned for the future. We’ll probably never offer vials, since they’re undosed and offer poor results.
