Michael, I am genuinely looking forward to seeing what you come up with, and smelling the samples of your scents as well. 🙂 I have heard good things about thenm, but you should have descriptions in the Androtics store.

Yes, fatty acids too. They’re very important to the aroma.

On another note, I juat want to say that Jasmin sent me a bottle of Genvieve and oh my goddess its out of this world.

It shot right up to my favorite scents. I get tons of compliments on it to.

Bravo, I cant wait to try the rest. 😃

This makes me feel better because its really not just the smell alone that evokes the reaction. I think while they are not technically mones the structure of them makes a difference not just the smell of them. JMO

How are they coming along by the way. I am running out and I ran out of my own years ago LOL

Weeeell, lets not jump to conclusions just yet.

This thread has convinced me that, besides all the individual differences, and variation in each individual for diet, climate, etc., we are really talking about several aroma stages. We have focused on ovulation and menstration; pre, post and peak. What we haven’t had much organized focus on is the obvious, sex. Coitus. The stages of vaginal aroma related to coitus; pre, post and peak. What made me realize this was my nominee, the truffle. After spending as much time as possible with pieces of various fresh black truffles big enough to cover my nostrils, (that ain’t much at $100/lb) I realized the vaginal aroma in truffles is post coitus. They are a thicker, richer, woodier version of an unmade bed after hours of languid love on a hot sweaty summer afternoon.

The pre-coitus scent of excitment is completely different, more sweet and sharp. Whereas, post-coitus is the kind of scent most people are refering to when they talk about musks.

I will always consider the post-coitus vaginal flavor and aroma to be one of this worlds ultimate experiences. Female ejaculate is truly the nectar of the Goddess

It mostly contains glucose and prostate acid phosphatase… but nectar is a good enough description. 😛

I have some Indian Amber oil straight from Mumbai and my first recation was it smelled exactly like a virgins. I have never smelled anything so similar. Indian Amber is a mixture of various spices, herbs, woods and flowers.

No ambergris is something different.

Ambergris or grey amber is a solid, waxy substance found in sperm whales
Ambergris has a peculiar sweet, earthy odor. The principal historical use of ambergris was as a fixative in perfumery, though it has now been largely displaced by synthetics.

Indian Amber is something totally different. Ambergris is basically sperm whale vomit and Indian Amber is a mix of essential oils usually in a a base of sandalwood. I dont know were to get it on the net and it is not the same stuff on Eden Botanicales either. They have home made amber but it is totally different. Indian Amber is interesting as each house has their own recipe. Usually they take a bunch of stuff and distill it together and each drop that comes out falls into a vat of sandalwood oil. I will try and get some more sometime in the next couple of months and I will see if I can send out some samples. It is from the house Khalil Moulvi from Mumbai. Here is an artical on Hinna which goes through the same process as Indian Amber:

When I smell her pussy after she got a shower, it has a different smell if I smell when she comes back from work. Both are good to drive me wild. Like when I take her pantie off I smell it. It has different smell too. All are good smells to me. I think it is different from one man to the other. I was with a woman who told me her husband never went down on her. Once she pressed him to do and when he did he vomited.
For the poster who was talking about smelling a woman after work-out. I love to smell the sweat in her short. I think when you love the woman every aroma of her body smells good and exciting even when she farts during sex. It is hard to tell.😉

I’m gonna have to draw from memory here, it’s been a while, wife is still in her funk…

A sharply aromatic scent that you can literally taste at the back of the throat…very mild vanilla overlay from her body wash plays well with the muskiness of her natural scent. A slight spiciness, although I can never place just which spice it brings to mind… If you’ve ever had ginger candy, it’s that kind of sensation even though the scent and taste are nowhere near the same…it’s the sensation of something sweet and desirable yet very surprisingly tart and shocking. The olfactories are right on the verge of overload yet you don’t want it to stop, the headiness far outweighs the mild discomfort of your body trying to come to terms with this wholly unmistakable experience. Like Douglas Adams said, it’s like getting hit with a velvet-lined brick…

OK I did an experiment for you. I spent one hour with my girlfriend kissing, touching and dancing. She got very receptive. I took her pantie off. her vagina was thick and full, wet and the labia-menora was dark red and very visible. I must smelled her vagina for about 5 minutes. She smelled like light vanilla then I smelled her pantie it smelled the same but more lighter. I got very excited by the smell. She was wondering what am doing? I did not tell her. Just made love to her.😉

I’d be stuck with my face in it, revving up my engine like it was in neutral, yet somehow unable to disengage my tongue. She had no fish scent. Hers was more like a very minute undertone of fish with mostly the light scent of androstenol and ocean.

Recently I reviewed in my mind the women I’ve been with over my adult lifetime. What they all had in common was that they were vegetarians. I reasoned that I have been selecting them for one reason; I don’t like the "smell " of women who eat meat. The vaginal smell that I respond to is kind of musky, sweet, with a touch of something I can only describe as a bit “burnt”, like a smokey sandlewood or some such. But I agree with this poster in quotes; for me the smell is like a drug. I get high on it. It excites me to the point of raw passion. I was with an Ethiopian woman whose mother had advised her never to use soap “down there”, she used only plain water for the purposes of hygiene, and man did I love her smell; couldn’t get enough of it. She was always telling me that I was just like a puppy, sniffing all the time. I just found it hard to help myself from doing it as she smelled wonderful!

>
> I think it is telling that so many people make analogies to wine, vinegar, and damp beach towels (on the good side) and cheese, rot, old fish, etc. (on the bad side). What do all of these things have in common? They are all fermented. That is, all of these things have smells created by bacteria and yeasts. Like the smell of sweat, the detectable odor of a vagina is created by the mini ecosystem of invisible creatures that live there.
>
> Because nasty things like infections and diseases are caused by bacteria and yeasts, the very idea of that stuff has kind of a bad rap. However, there are many healthy and beneficial bacteria and yeasts that live in our bodies (and our vaginas). It seems very likely to me that the smells produced by those bacteria and yeasts–which vary from person to person–would play a strong role in attracting a mate.
>
> Vaginal bacteria has a strong connection to overall bacteria in your body (especially the digestive tract) and many schools of medicine believe that a healthy digestive system is the foundation of immunity and good health. So I think it would make a lot of sense from an evolutionary fitness standpoint for the most attractive women to be the ones with the best-smelling vaginal bacteria (and hence the strongest immune systems, best genes, etc). It also explains one reason why women have pubic hair: to grow more of that attractive bacteria and diffuse its smell. (I think at least one guy on this thread said that a woman he was with shaved her pubes and had a disappointing lack of scent.)
>
> I’m not too familiar with the problems surrounding copulin products. The issue is that synthetic copulins aren’t convincing enough? I wonder how much better they would work if the pheromone was delivered through an authentic vaginal bacteria smell.
>
> If I had to make the perfect copulin mix, I don’t think I would try to assemble the smell by adding an acid note, a salty note, a honey note, an oceanic note, etc. I think I would culture the bacteria and yeast from some healthy ovulating vaginas, then try to isolate the smell of that stuff. OR MAYBE! I would even try putting some real live bacteria and yeasts into a product. Our noses are very sensitive, it might need to be the real deal and not just a similar smell. If you did create a product that was literally alive with that bacteria/yeast, I would experiment with making it an oil or gel, and maybe add some sugars into the mix to keep the bacteria/yeast alive and active.
>
> OK that’s my crazy idea for the day!

You are on track… a healthy vagina would have a several types of beneficial bacteria colonizing the vagina; commonly lactobacillus species ( of which there are dozens and dozens of subspecies). The bacteria help keep the proper pH in the vagina and prevent infections from occuring. Depending on the subspecies the bacteria produce by products which will influence the smell and taste; commonly lactic acid is produced. Your diet can also effect the smell just eat some asparagus or cauliflower and smell your pee next the next morning.

And I thought I was “way out there”. I think LadyNerd has grasped, and articulated this issue from the most relevant fundamentals. Yeast and or bacteria is what give you an acidic “funk-carrier”, sweat contains salt (thats why it smells salty), the residue blood (from periods) harbor "iron’ (cooper smell ?). Lastly but not least is the scent of consumed food in its dormant state (the way raw cilantrio or anything smell in its raw state). I found out back in high school (80’s) that giving any particular female, I was always able to take a whiff of a beautiful, potent aroma from across a class room (after having gotten their attention first). I will always notice that their eyes would seem to become blood shot as if they where high or something. This would happen with both female teachers and female students. Each female had a unique “world of wonder” smell emanating from themselves. I’ve always pondered weather if it was me that had “honed in” to a scent that was already there or was they (females) turned on by me stroking my chin relentlessly while sitting on my upper waist with my legs sticking way out from under the desk. Well from those experiences I’ve decided to keep pleasant smelling foods (fruits and veggies) going through my body. Humans definitely sweat and defecate what we put in our mouths. Sorry if this came out tacky as Im so sleepy (4:50am) and have to work later at ten this morning. 🆒
