He lived an incredible life. He and Asimov were so prescient it was difficult at times to know where the fiction ended and reality began.

Ever heard of the movie _2001 a Space Odyssey_?  
He wrote the book.

yea i knew bout that too. i read the link bout him and i just found his part in the creation of radar and satellite communication.

wasnt the book called something else though.

Don’t know about the radar, but in 1945 he suggested that a satellite 45,000 miles above the earth would be geostationary and usable as a communications satellite. The book was _The Sentinel_ written in 1948.😃
