Hi~ **I’m Luci. I’m an 18 year old female student from the Ohio/Indiana/Michigan area! My Myers-Brigg type is usually ENFJ or ENFP. I have to admit, I’m a bit skeptical. I don’t usually have a problem attracting people, however I am curious and would like to test pheromones out. I am from an academic environment for gifted and talented students. Many would be willing to undergo tests if the supplies were offered. Is there a way to do this? I don’t have a credit card or anything and I DOUBT I’d be able to afford a ton of samples for my own personal curiosity. Heya Luci, welcome to the forums! I’m not sure what you meant about supplies being offered for testing? If people wanted to sign up as forum members and grab the $25 GC, they could do that, but i don’t believe Androtics is sending out samples… well, i guess technically they are, since you can get 2 to-go bottles and shipping for the $25 GC and the $5 you get for making an account in the store. As far as the credit card, you can pay via paypal if you wanted, which is what i do. I don’t have a credit card either. Figure i shouldn’t be paying for what i can’t afford, ya know? So what exactly were you interested in phero’s for? As in, what did you see using them for? And where did you want to try them out? That would help us recommend what to try first for your needs, as well as get you that $25 GC. So let’s hear some more from ya! ---

Welcome! I’m sure you’ll find these forums to be very helpful when toying with pheromones. Are you interested in them just for research or for your daily use? Also for research, what would you be … researching? I’m a bit of a science guy myself 😉 Just a word of advice: There is a whole section dedicated to Pheromone Theory that you may want to check out. And as far as getting samples, you should probably call Steve and see if you can work something out. I’m sure he’d be happy to help you out. Once again, welcome and enjoy your stay! P.S. Wow! Hi all! Thanks for your responses. I just want to research the legitimacy behind the pheromone theory. I’ve seen and heard a lot of things about pheromones, however I would like to get my hands on some personal first-hand experience. Following that, I have access to university findings. My professor is also interested and agreed that I could possibly do a paper on my finding IF I were willing to personally invest in the pheromones. The university is having issues with funding (cutting jobs and such) so it’s unlikely that a student could get any funding. I would like to try them out on myself as well as any of the (willing) students at my institution. EDIT: As previously mentioned, I am an ENFx attending a private institution for academically gifted and talented students. 4.0 GPA, singer, dancer, actor, artist, musician, writer, yeah…I’d consider that outgoing… ^^; Living at the institution with 300 other students means that we’re extremely close. I’d say I interact REALLY well with others, however we have a few cynics that are extremely anti-social. It’s kind of hard to interact with them without scaring them off… ---

Anyway, I think that if you were willing to have a talk with steve, he may be able to get you research status and you could buy the experimental mixes and putatives for half the price. Just a thought! =) The institution is a sub-division of one of the state universities. It is extremely limited in space. Hi LucidDreamer: Just be aware that _any_ research involving human subjects that takes place on a university (whether it be faculty or student research, class project, individual study) has to have approval for use of human subjects. It doesn’t matter whether the research will be published or not, or whether it is funded or not. Your university has an office that grants such permission. You have to get all the approvals before you start any of the research. Your professor can help you in the process. Good luck, and as several have mentioned, make sure you familiarize yourself with the published literature on the topics as a basis for planning any research. ---

Tisha23: Thank you very much! I was just about to PM Steve as recommended for research purposes, and then I saw your reply. I’ve eagerly been seeking out information on the site and think I’m getting pretty well educated on how pheromones work. This site is particularly useful for actual papers on deep issues in the **Studies & Abstracts** section. It’s been pretty hard finding sufficient information on the web. I’m not quite sure which email account I signed up under the smartmones site, but it’s the same screenname. I’ll double-check. Thank you very much for all of your help.
