**Day 1** Got my hot little package today. Very cautious by nature so hoping to curve my impatience and work with them slowly. Was thinking of starting with [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) alone but was feeling pretty uplifted already due to crisp Fall weather so decided to start with IS/A that will definitely tell me if and when I got hits and Instant Shine more for self-effects. **Product name,scent and strength** Instant Sexiness A Trial Size – Neroli **Application dosage and locations** One spray on wrist, rubbed hard on both wrists and palms and back of ears. Did this whilst sitting in my car. Feel headiness of sent that starts citrusy and crisp. Scent feels quite strong. **Enviroment tested in. – Early afternoon** **Private Mail Box Office** – I had just been in this store to pick up my package of pheromones and the manager at the counter had basically been very business as usual, minimum eye contact. When I returned 15 minutes later, the store was busier since it was late lunch time. I was in there to pay my box rental fee and to buy stamps for a postcard. The transaction took about 5 minutes over a 3 feet counter with the same manager. No detectable change. He remained distracted but other customers, same minimum eye contact even when he took the postcard from my hands and the scent was practically in his face. He even walked away to serve other customers while the printer was printing my receipt. All the while, I could smell the Neroli scent around me but clearly no reaction, no opportunity to break into a chat. Walked by one middle-aged male customer but no reaction here either. This manager (white male mid-forties? married) was someone that used to be fairly chatty with me when I first opened my account 4 years ago but these days, he clearly doesn’t see me but remembers my box number on sight. Not personally attracted to him except in context of this experiment. **Laudromat** – Stopped by at local Laundromat to test pheromone. Inside was a Latino family, couple in late twenties? with one toddler (boy) of about 2 years running around. I slowly walk by the husband and facing sideways stand 3 feet from him. There is a powerful fan overhead blowing right toward the guy. He is relaxed and talking to his wife and child and completely ignores me as I stand practically next to him for about a minute. I give up and walk away slowly, this is getting awkward since I have no laundry on me and I’m just looking at the machines pretending to check the prices. As I am about 10 feet from the family, I make eye contact with the toddler and smile at him, he smiles back from next to his mother. Mother seeing this also smiles at me but her husband whose back is turned to me does not notice. Doubt the child’s reaction was due to the pheromone. **Self effects.** **In car –** No real change in feelings while breathing in the scent for 5 minutes. **In Private Mail Box Office** – No enhancement of feelings except a slight self consciousness since I’m looking for reaction. **In Laundromat** – same as above Notice smell has become less crisp, smell somewhat masculine sweet and fruity. Not my favorite scent so I’m not going to enjoy stronger doses. I tend to dislike fuity smells and prefer unsweet citrus during summer and musky, woodsy, green, earthy scents like sandalwood, violet, lemon. Wish this came in grapefruit this time of year. Since I normally don’t wear scents except on special occasions, wearing pheromones may take getting used to. Maybe I should shop around for a cover scent. After an hour, I still am very conscious of the scent and feel tempted to wash it off but will keep it on to get used to it. Don’t feel the least bit sexy or confident at this point but nothing really negative either. Smells too much like a sweet variety of men’s cologne, in fact I may actually like this on a man. Is it the Instant Sexiness or the Neroli I’m reacting to? Just took off the cap of the spray and smelled it. Can hardly believe its what I’m wearing as it seems so much crisper, crystalline something I would enjoy. But clearly my chemistry completely alters the original scent to something I’m not too crazy about. I’ve had similar problems with perfumes in general so I’m not too surprised. At least this doesn’t turn into the feet smell some have mentioned. After 2 hours, find myself getting used to the smell but overall still feels heavy. **Effects to others** None at close distance even though the smell is definitely wafting about me, especially under the Laundromat fan. No one makes eye contact and I don’t feel inclined to initiate either. **Duration of effects.** Does not apply **Effects from mixing with other products.** Does not apply **Range** 3 to 10 feet **Time exposure** 10 minutes close contact at each location. ---

Nice report. The neroli seems strong at first, partly because it’s not a smell you’re used to. I think it probably won’t seem so strong to you after you’ve used it awhile. Grapefruit is available all year long, to the best of my knowledge. When purchasing, you may have to add a scent package to your cart, and specify which product it is to be applied to. Or you can call Androtics and work something out. They’re great about customer service, maybe you can exchange the neroli for grapefruit. I do seem to remember that scent packages are only available for 30ml bottles, not to-gos. I think you need to up your dosage of IS/a to see results. Also, it works better to just go about your business than to be on the lookout for hits. It tends to give people a creepy feeling, when someone’s hanging around watching them for reactions. ---

**Late afternoon** **Product name,scent and strength** **[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) 2X Togo over IS/A from earlier** **Application dosage and locations** 1 spray to back of ear and rubbed on other ear and wrists **Environment** **Home –** slight positive lift **Self Effects** Feel slight increase in alertness immediately after spray. Not as heady and heavy as after IS/A . Feel somewhat brighter and lifted. **Duration of effects** 1 spray of Instant Shine 2X (to previous 1 spray IS/A at home) caused slight positive feel for about 30 minutes. **Effects from mixing with other products** Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue cologne for cover – for own self-effect because I like this scent. Because this has a clean citrus feel, I thought it was a good match to cover the heaviness sweetness of Neroli. After 3 minutes, notice it seems to revive the lift effect of Instant Shine 2X. **Time Exposure** 1 spray effect disappears within one hour **Early Evening** **Product name,scent and strength, dosage** 1 more spray of Instant Shine 2X to elbow crease **Self Effect** Nothing worth noting, slight headache from smell **Environment** Women’s Group **Duration of effects** Possibly 2 hours, hard to tell. **Effect on others** Group of 7 women sitting and talking in a close circle. When I join them everyone around me is busy talking in pairs turned away from me. Don’t feel like interrupting. By the end of 2 hours, mood slowly becomes inclusive. I get a few compliments on a project I’m working on. While people are friendly, no one is paying more attention to me than to anyone else, no one is excluded and no one except the facilitator stands out. I don’t feel particularly cheerful but not down either. Several times during the meeting, I found myself lose interest in the conversation and tune out. Felt self-conscious about smell because I meet with these women at least a few times a week but have never worn a scent when I’m with them. After 2 hours, I’m ready to leave. Others linger but I’m tired. These women are friendly and most of our get togethers revolve around spiritual themes lead by a facilitator. I’m a fairly new member but feel comfortable around them so today’s was much the same as previous times. **Range** 2 feet to 10 feet **Time Exposure** 2 hours I’ll be meeting with some of these women the day after tomorrow. Will probably continue along similar lines possibly experimenting with different cover scents. Thanks moonwhisper, will increase dosage on IS/A tomorrow while continuing with similar dosage on Instant Shine. Probably will switch to Grapefruit when I’m ready for the 30 ml sizes. Didn’t feel like anyone was reacting negatively towards me. At today’s dosage, it was more like no one saw me and I wasn’t inclined to draw attention to myself. ---

**Day 2** Wake with itchiness and hives on one arm and a lot on my legs. Not sure if this is due to pheromones since the spray was on the wrists, elbow crease, and back of ears and neck area. But by midday, the rash had become pretty large all over the back of my thighs. I was also getting rashes to cold water. But I’ve been getting constant hives ever since a serious rash due to unknown cause early this summer that was serious enough to put me on Prednisone so anything could be a trigger. But I finally made an appointment with an allergist, an expensive affair since I have no health insurance and testing is likely to cost a bundle. I’ll see him tomorrow. Obviously no pheromones today. **Day 3** Still itchy and some breakouts but calming down after breakfast. Appointment is at 3pm. Over the past couple of days, am sensing increase in fall pollen which I am allergic to and probably pre-disposes me to histamine reactions. **1:30 pm** Its one hour before allergist appointment. Pollen or pheromones? (Note: no sneezes past 2 days and the pheromones were different) **2:50 pm** **Product name,scent and strength** **Application dosage and locations** IS/A Togo -1 spray to hair at back of head, 1 spray to front of dress IH 1X Togo – 1 spray to arm **Environment** Doctor’s office **Self Effects** Too busy finding going to office from parking lot to notice. No allergic reaction during this experiment. **Duration of effects** 1 hour of interaction **Effect on others** Waiting room patients and receptionist show no reaction. Doctor (male in fifties) is focused on his work and shows no special reaction through initial consultation of about 15 minutes after which he leaves and a nurse comes in to give me the skin tests on my back. I see no reason to mention the pheromones so I don’t. As the nurse (female in late twenties) works on me at close range she reveals some personal information which surprises me since she was not chatty and was silent while working on me. Then she stops as if she suddenly realized she was saying more than she felt comfortable with to a total stranger. Doctor returns in about 30 minutes to go over test results. Gives me a huge discount since I am a self pay patient but seems to be his policy during these difficult times. He seems to be very generous by nature and his nurse and front desk staff really seem to love working for him. Overall I detect no reaction from the doctor to the pheromones. His demeanor is professional courtesy, focused and efficient without being condescending or distant. No small talk. At check out with the receptionist, its all business no small talk as well. **Range** 1 to 8 feet during the entire visit. **Time Exposure** 1 hour 15 minutes for entire office visit **Summary** It seems most of the kindness from the medical professionals were in line with their regular nature. Except for the one nurse telling me about herself, no one was affected enough to change their normal behavior. The doctor was clearly not reacting to the IS/A. **6:30 pm** Allergy tests showed I was only allergic to sagebrush and its pollen season right now. So my sensitivity and reactivity is heightened. Suspect pheromones are not a direct source of my allergies. We are 4 women sitting facing each other in a cross 5 to 12 feet apart with fan blowing in the background. I already know 2 of the women. Found myself being listened to more than usual. Generally I have trouble with people tuning out or starting other conversations with their neighbors and taking over way before I finish so that I feel hurried to cut myself short. But this did not happen and I felt I had a good rapport with everyone. I was conscious of trying too hard in the past but I was more at ease this time. The facilitator who generally dominates the meeting seemed to find what I said matched her thinking and she repeated what I’d said several times. . The mood overall was a little subdued but everyone seemed to be supportive of each other. **Time Exposure** 1 hour 10 minutes **8:30 pm** **Environment** Trader Joe’s Grocery **Effect on Others** Seemed to get more smiles from strangers than usual. When I inquired about a missing item, the store clerk was very helpful and chatty in trying to get me the latest information on when it will be stocked. No other major reactions noted. **Range** 4 – 12 feet **Time Exposure** 20 minutes **Summary** I had expected the Instant Shine 2X to have a more uplifting effect but that seemed not to be the case. IH 1X may be working for me but need further testing to be sure. The reactions at Trader Joe’s did not seem any different from usual. The folks there tend to be friendly and energetic all the time. ---

**Day 4** Some rash on legs and allergies to water acting up so no pheros today. **Day 5** Feeling prickliness all over from fall allergies and decide to take Zyrtec. **12:55 pm** **Product name,scent and strength** **Application dosage and locations** IS/B Togo – 1 spray chest, 1 spray hair Instant Shine 2X Togo – 1 spray hair, 1 spray left arm **Self Effects** None noted except still don’t care for scent and slight redness from alcohol. I do not feel particularly cheerful or uplifted from Instant Shine, nor any heightening of sensual/sexual sense or confidence from IS/B. This is my first time using IS/B. **Environment** Minister’s Office – 4 of us sitting in a cross. I sit across facing Minister and my women friends on either side facing each other. This is my first meeting with our new minister who is single and very private about his personal life. He has previously stated he is not here to make friends with the congregation but to act within the scope of his ministry only. I personally have no particular attraction towards him but value his acquaintance as a churchgoer. The church and its members are very liberal. Get together is to discuss forming a support group for those us struggling from economic downturn. **Effect on Others, Range** Meeting discussion starts with Minister making a short summary and suggests a brief intro from each of us women on why we are here. (I will refer to the other women as simply woman A and woman B.) When these are said and done, it is clear that woman A dominates the conversation in length and force. The Minister is taking on the mediator facilitator role but more calm and less emotional. I am feeling forced to express myself in order to not be overrun but the two but clearly feel like this is turning into a power struggle. I am not enjoying being assertive since it would mean losing my friendship with woman A since our expectation of the group’s goals are opposing. Woman B is passive and reserved and hardly expresses herself during the entire discussion. I do not know if she is shy or just not interested in jumping into the argument between me and woman A. My guess is the latter since she is the most highly educated and has the most professional career background amongst the three of us women. It seems IS/B has no effect on the Minister and I doubt if Instant Shine is working on him either. Woman A is acting pretty much her usual dominant self in group situations and seems unaffected. No idea if Woman B is affected either. Overall my impression is that this meeting would have gone the same even if I didn’t have the pheromones on. **Range** 5 – 10 feet **Time Exposure** 1 hour 30 minutes **5:30 pm** **Environment** Library **Self Effects** Feeling depressed from the earlier meeting. Tired from the emotional exertion of trying to assert myself without antagonizing those around me. **Effect on Others, Range** Male librarian (late fifties) who knows me by face is generally friendly towards me. I detect no change in his usual manner from the pheromones. Male server is attentive but only to take and fill order. No small talk. I go past a group of 3 men in their early twenties but they take no notice of me. I choose the next table from the above men about 15 feet away. 10 feet towards my left is a group of 4 middle aged men having a conversation. Diagonally to my right and facing me is a single man in his fifties facing me eating alone and drinking alone. To my direct right is a man sitting alone but waiting for his female companion to join him. He makes a call on his cell phone, reads a book, drinks coffee for about 20 minutes before she joins him. I get up and passes behind the 3 young men to get some utensils. On the way back, I brush by the 4 middle aged guys still talking in a relaxed manner. I eat and drink for about 30 minutes alone. Not one of the guys show appear to notice me let alone show any interest. Eventually the single man to my diagonal right facing me the whole time gets up and leaves. The 3 young men leave also. The other solo man is joined by his girlfriend and they eat and leave. The 4 older guys continuing talking and joking. I am finished so I leave and head for the casino floor. **Range** **Time Exposure** 6 – 20 feet, 30 minutes **Summary** IS/B and Instant Shine 2X despite the higher dosage seem to have no effect on me or those around me. I’ve had more relaxed time doing this kind of thing without the pheromones. This casino coffee lounge is about 5 minutes from where I live and is a late night substitute after Barnes & Noble or Borders are closed. **9:45 pm** **Product name,scent and strength** **Application dosage and locations** I freshen up in the ladies room. I’m not here to play so I don’t have much money on me. I sit at a couple of slots where single men are already playing. I don’t feel any more inclined to socialize and no one gives me a second glance. Clearly this is turning into a dead day despite the fact that I’m wafting a lot of scent. **Range** **Time Exposure** 4 – 8 feet, 40 minutes divided into 15 minute intervals **10:30 pm** **Environment** Walmart – I need to buy filtered water and bathroom supplies. **Effect on Others, Range** This is the time when many of the employees are re-stocking shelves and taking inventory. Also quite a few solo shoppers like myself who have to pick up necessities late on a Friday evening. I manage to pass by a lot of men and women doing all of these activities but no one pays any attention. A few pass by within inches but no second glance. By this time, I’m not really looking for attention other than to make this report. I was wondering if IO 2X would encourage conversation from strangers or make me feel chatty. I guess not. The line at the cash register is fairly long but no one makes eye contact any more than necessary. **Summary** This is the most amount of pheromones I’ve put on. But I detected no self-effect nor effect on others. A combination of IS/B, Instant Shine 2X, IO 2X. The heavy scent was weighing on me but not enough to give me a headache. But I did take a good long shower at the end of the night and it felt good. Of the pheromones, I have used, Instant Shine 2X has had the most usage but I have never felt any uplift from it. Possibly the fact that I don’t like the smell and I am sensitive to smells in general is making me more down than without it at all. ---

**Day 6** After working with multiple pheros at one time, decide to cut back to one today. I’ve decided on IO because of its reputation for initiating conversation. On Zyrtec so don’t expect allergic reactions. **Product name,scent and strength** **Application dosage and locations** IO 2X Togo – 1spray to each wrist, 1 spray to chest (3 sprays total) **Self Effects** None worth noting **Environment** Ulta beauty supply store. I go to buy Pink Sugar which I’ve previously tested and I find the sweet fragrance soothing. Unfortunately I tend to get rash from close sprays due to the alcohol so I was looking for the Shimmering Perfume version. But they were sold out. I ask the clerk to call the other store to see if its in stock. Its not, so I buy the deodorant spray instead. **Effect on Others, Range** Clerk is young female in mid-twenties. Not friendly at all. She does not smile, not interested in making a sale, her body language remains closed as she answers my questions and makes the call to the other store. She does not seem to want to make contact. **Range** **Time Exposure** 4 feet across counter. 15 minutes. **Product name,scent and strength** **Application dosage and locations** IO 2X Togo – 1 additional spray to hair Pink Sugar Deodorant to inside of arms away from the wrist area of earlier IO sprays. Also 1 spray to head. Not sure if this will kill the IO I just put on the head. But the smell of Pink Sugar definitely makes the Neroli bearable. **Environment** Borders bookstore coffee lounge. My favorite hangout but first time using [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/). A few of the coffee baristas know me but the one today seems familiar but not one of the regulars I deal with. **Effect on Others, Range** A very cold transaction from start to finish. Not a smile or a thank you. No other customers nearby. I took the drink back to the armchair lining the windows 2 seats away from a middle aged man reading a book. I too had a book that I had to read for a book club so it wasn’t without other purpose. 10 minutes later 2 more single men, one in his fifties, the other in his sixties take the armchair on the right next to me and the one next to it. Both are soon intent on their reading materials. No one is talking or looking around. The older guy next to me seems to have a respiratory problem like phlegm caught in his throat every time he breathes. I ignore him and read my book which cheers me up but also makes me lose interest in my surroundings. After 20 minutes, I’m done and leave. Have to pass by the magazine racks to get to the exit. Facing the rack is a row of seats with more guys in probably here alone. Not one looks up as I brush by them. The only reaction I get is one bends his foot to make it easy for me to pass while his eyes remain glued to his chosen magazine. So much for IO 2X at 4 sprays. **Range** **Time Exposure** 2 – 6 feet; 40 minutes total. **Summary** I’ve definitely had chattier days here without the pheromones. Today was almost spooky. I did not make any overt moves to attract attention but this day of coldness from everyone seemed unusual even for me. Even my cell phone had turned itself to silent mode by itself (yeah it does that on its own, every now and then) so I missed a call from a friend. When I returned the call, it was straight into voicemail, not that this has anything to do with pheromones but it sets the tone for the day. ---

Interesting. I’ve had some people starting convos with IO, sometimes no hits at all. Try asking a question or something, perhaps that will “crack the dam” and let the conversation start flowing. ---

**Day 7** Will give IO 2X another solo effort but this time with people I know. There’s a local fair today so I’ll be mixing with a few folks. What’s going to be different is that I’ll imbibe some St. John’s Wort to add some internal lifting self-effect. **Environment** Local fair with a few of my friends hosting a couple of booths. I waft by to support them. It’s easy to strike a conversation with them but I don’t sense more give from the IO. I’m my usual self and so are my friends. The turnout for the fair was not very good so they are not happy. Conversation kind of falls flat after awhile and I take my leave. There is no real connection that sometimes happens even in this type of situation. Communication is polite and bare minimum, not unfriendly but lacking in real interest. No one said anything to my face but I do wonder how strong I smell to others. Bare in mind what I have been using is just the main classic pheromones IShine, IO, IH, IS/A, IS/B in various combinations and not the stinky cops. Personally I’m getting used to wearing fragrances on a daily basis, no more headaches, but I know many of my friends do not wear perfumes and they may be reluctant to tell me when a smell bothers them. If they are secrety annoyed, I’m concerned it may make them less communicative offsetting the pheromone effect. ---

People are usually telling me (even when I am worried about how i smell with cops or mixing a neroli with chocoltini with cops with cover!) how good I smell. I’ve never had a bad reaction to how I smell from pheros at least that I can recall (and someone told me about) and my TG is very picky with scents (he would be the first person to tell me! as well as the women I work around as they are very outspoken) as am I though our pickiness with scents is very similar thankfully! I hope you have better luck soon! ---

I had a HUGE effect from IO last week. I put on 8 sprays of 2x strength and got in the car with four of my children. I can now say without a doubt that IO does exactly what it’s supposed to do.. make people talkative. They just wouldn’t stop talking. 😮 Lots of people don’t get self-effects from pheros, or at least not from all of them. If you’re concerned that it’s not doing what you think it should, apply a large dose of IO (I’m talking about at least ten sprays) and then go where there are people. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend wearing that high of a dose usually, just as an experiment. Otherwise your ears would fall off after a couple of days. 😃 ---

**[P74](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p74/) Togo** Decided to try this solo for the day after learning it was a possible alternative to Androstadienone. Also to coinciding with my period which starts moody, sleepy, warm, clearing, tend to catch colds, return to normal over about a week. I’m at the sleepy/warm stage today I think. **Dose:** 2 sprays behind ears **Cover:** Pink Sugar bought at great discount from eBay **Self-Effect:** Sudden slight uplift and cheeriness lasting about an hour, then a calm wearing off. **Effect on Others:** Not much from most people around me - one thing I noticed was that I felt better at not being caught by other people’s hang ups. I was at Costco’s and bought just 2 items. At the register, I noticed the clerk had given my cart to the previous customer and so I mentioned it. I didn’t seriously need it but I did have a little back pain so the cart was something to hold on to. The guy said I’ll get you one, carried my items and took off straight for the exit, handed them to the receipt checker while he went off to get another cart. He was going so fast he was 20 yards ahead of me by the time I got to the exit. Had I known what he was going to do I would have told him not to bother but being short, 5ft to his 6 ft, I’d have had run after him which I just didn’t feel up to. When he gave me the cart at the exit, he avoided looking at me as I thanked him anyway but he was clearly angry. I think he thought I was younger than I am, I generally look like I’m in my mid-thirties rather than 47 and that I shouldn’t have made a deal about the cart with just 2 items. But everything went so fast there was little I could have done. For a moment I felt a bit upset by all that pent up anger coming from him, the way he walked so fast leaving me behind, the averted eyes, quick exit. But then I just figured this was his chaos and I was determined not to get wrapped up in it, took a few deep breaths and as I drove home felt pretty good about myself and the scent of Pink Sugar lingering inside the car. Can’t be sure how this relates to P74, whether it uplifts or encourages negativity, but will see how it goes with further testing. ---

P74 - Day 2 & 3 **Dose** : P74 behind ears, wrist (3 sprays total) **Self-Effect** I’ve been having serious fall allergy problems where I feel tired and edgy all the time. While P74 doesn’t have any direct effect on my allergies no my moods, it seems to help me keep my perspective so that I catch myself when I’m about to react in a negative manner such as taking things personally. **Environment - Day 2** **Book Club meeting** (1 hour 10 minutes) : 4 people, small room, people about 2-8 feet apart The chosen book is about Buddhism but the subject drifted to metaphysical topics. Opinions differed but no arguments ensued. Felt pheromone was helping in overcoming differences and preventing hostilities from erupting, perhaps helping to sustain an atmosphere of inclusion. All had even turns to speak. Overall mood was inquiring and serious but not somber. **Dose** : added [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) 2x wrist (one spray rubbed both wrists) **Grocery Shopping** : Trader Joes for about 20 minutes before closing This is the most cheerful and energetic grocery in town with the staff generally upbeat and friendly all the time. There were fewer customers because of the late hour but I got a few staff members who knew me by face saying hi (doesn’t generally happen) and one guy asked later if I was okay in a friendly sort of way when I was digging among one of the lower shelves. The checkout clerk opened up a new register for me and invited me when I was the 3rd in line ahead of the person in front of me. She was a bit chatty but not excessive and friendly in a easygoing way. **Summary** : **P74** solo seemed to help me stay in a comfortable level of inclusion where otherwise I could easily have been pushed out of the conversation. I didn’t have much to say but felt more at ease about staying silent until I had something to say and those around me seemed to acknowledge my presence in an almost non-verbal way such as sitting posture, eye contact. Adding **Instant Shine 2x** to the previous **P74** may have made me more noticeable and approachable. But people still kept to their own business and only extended a light level of acknowledgement and hospitality. **Day 3** **Dose** : P74 back of ears, wrists (3 sprays total), Instant Shine 2x 1 spray to chest and rubbed on both wrists **Environment** : large get together at a private home, 90% women above 35 Decide to test the above combo at a large birthday party gathering of about 50 people. I knew about 8 of the people including the host whose birthday party this was and was being held in her home. I’m not a drinker so I had soda and did my best to mingle. Ended up staying in the relative safety of those I knew alternating from one group to another of about 3 people at a time. Big surprise for me was that I got quite a lot of compliments by the people I knew well regarding my appearance and one on my scent. **Summary** I was still struggling at times but it seems the **P74** was helping me to forge ahead. I was better able to manage floating about from one group to another and shifting conversation topics to better suit who I was talking to more efficiently than usual. There was a strong sense of comfortable rapport. However, there was no deep heart to heart kind of bonding which I prefer. Felt **Instant Shine** was helping me to get more attention than with **P74** alone. I’m not a person to really enjoy a large chatty non-work-related party and much prefer small groups of no more than 4 or 5 so for me this was kind of a brushing up of social skills in an environment outside my comfort zone. **Instant Shine** does not have any mood lifting self-effect on me but it may be lifting others around me. To anyone reading this report, one major reason why I’m struggling fitting in at these social functions is because currently I am going through a lot of financial hardship and the people I am with are extremely well off. I don’t feel I have much in common with them in terms of lifestyle and family matters. ---

P74 - Day 4 (indirect test) Decided how **P74** works if I was exposed to it on another person. So I had my dear mom (85 years old) try it out and I spend the day with her. I’ve told her about pheromones but she doesn’t really understand how they are supposed to work. **Dose** : 2 sprays Togo size, rubbed on wrists and behind neck **Environment** : Shopping Mall I’m feeling very irritable due to heavy fall allergies and sleepy due to antihistamines which aren’t really helping. Our reason to go to the mall was to avoid the pollen. My mom only has the mildest symptoms from allergies. We did not interact with anyone else and my mom doesn’t speak English so she only talks to me. We got separated and I lost my temper looking for her for about 15 minutes. She remained pretty calm despite my obvious argumentative attitude and seemed far more resilient than usual. She also seemed slightly more energetic physically than usual. Again, I notice **P74** effective in preventing involvement in another person’s chaos, in this case, mine. Kind of like the Costco incident of Day 1 but in reverse. My mom seems back to her usual self by the time we get back 6 hours later and I think the **P74** is wearing down. Because she has no one but me to interact with today, it’s hard to tell since I’m so affected by the allergy. Also for the reputation of **P74** ’s bonding effect, well we’re pretty well bonded to begin with so nothing new there. **[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) 2X** - Self Test I deliberately chose to not have any pheromones on today but did have Pink Sugar on which I like very much. I wanted to see how much of a mood altering effect it would have without pheromones. Clearly, it has no effect as I was feeling lousy today. I came home really tired and had some coffee hoping to lift myself up with caffeine. Didn’t work. I decided to try a single shot of **Instant Shine 2X** on one elbow crease and rubbed on other. No immediate effect as it dried and I smelled the Neroli, sniff sniff, ho hum. 2 minutes later I lightly spray my Pink Sugar from about 10 inches on both elbow crease. And lo and behold, a definite self-effect. I definitely feel energized and more alert. More than the coffee ever did. So it seems I’m reacting to 2 things. The **Instant Shine** seems to only work when used with a cover scent I like. And the cover scent has already been tested solo earlier today, and shows it has no strong effect by itself either other than that I like the smell. My first guess is that my personal dislike of the Neroli scent may have a tendency to offset the positive effect of the pheromone but when combined with a good cover, that can be overcome so that the effect of the pheromone is brought back to life. May continue to test out this theory with the other pheros in my collection since they are all in Neroli. I have been using **Instant Shine** for awhile, and it was the first pheromone I tested, and it was by itself, but I never had a definite sense of reaction to it until now. So another possibility is that my senses are getting used to pheromones in general. So the next time I buy a pheromone, I’ll try either the grapefruit or the coconut so that hopefully I won’t need a cover so much. ---

Maybe PS was increasing the diffusion rate of IS, which would increase your self-effect. If the diffusion rate is increased, your pheros will wear off faster. You might want to bear that in mind if you’re planning pheros for a day’s use, to reapply sooner than you’re used to. ---

Did basically the same test with **[Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) 2X** solo one spray elbow crease as above but did not get the same self-effect. One hour later, I had a headache but I really don’t think it’s anything to do with the pheromone since I’m having such a strong fall allergy reaction and I’m not taking any pills. Ended up with a pretty bad headache. Did some zen meditation, drank some coffee afterwards, took a shower and headache was gone. So **Instant Shine** still remains inconclusive for me. Decide to try something else 4 hours later after showering off per above. **Dose** : **MX 274** underarms, wrist crease, 3 sprays total Wow, my first non-Neroli scent. Citrus, grapefruit then lemon, and a heady mix of honeysuckle or even just plain honey. There is also a strong tea like smell, maybe Earl Grey or Oolong (one of the Taiwan variety I think). After awhile, as the alcohol wears down, it settles into something more typical, heavy purple (to me, don’t know how else to describe it) kind of smell. Decide to use the PS cover. It’s a crazy kind of day weatherwise with the daytime temperature high dropping from 90’s last couple of days to 68 today with the winds blowing some serious pollen so I’m too antsy to get a good perspective on pheromones in general. Feeling really spacey w/sensory overload even though I’m not wearing much phero nor perfume. ---
