Hey, question about how long mones last. Of course I’m new…and doing a lot of research on the site. I have read that mones can last 4-5 hours and some 7-8 hours. I have been experimenting at home and at work and would like to know if the scent is any indication that the mones are losing their gusto. I can still smell them slightly after a few hours but by the end of the day I can barely smell them. I know the scent is not the mones, but an added benefit. Should I be concerned about the scent going away? Thanks! ---

Which mones/scents are you using? If its Instants or TUTH then yes, the [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) scent will go to a light background level pertty smartly and be barely detectable after a few hours - However the mones will still be diffusing reasonably well depending on environment. They do tail-off a bit yes but with experience you will get to judge the optimum time for a topup. Where A314 oil is concerned, I also find the effects apparent for a good while after the scent fades but again, using lotion as a base does help prolong scent and activity further. 🙂 However, if its Ammo in FF21, I’d be surprised at your finding that fading that much before the pheros lose potency - I can usually still smell it the next day, even after a wash! ---

Yep…you’re dead on as usual! I noticed the ammo retains it’s smell longer than the others in the starter kit. I typically go with a combo consisting of either IH, IO, IS, [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/)-s and A314. I have been varying the amounts and locations each day. Work is a difficult place for me to test because I am high enough in my organization to garner the respect of my position. I’m married so all of my real testing is at home 🙂 I use work to see if I notice a change in people. I’m sure with more testing…more outcomes! ---

Yes they still work and mobo is right about lotion if you need to extend it for a little bit. You can actually use a natural lotion with less fragrance, I actually like Nubian Heritage products.
