I tried applying one spray of TUTH recently, to see what it was like before using it in a situation where it mattered. But I had a really strange reaction to it: once the neroli scent dies down, it smells _fantastic_. Nothing else I’ve tried smells like this.

A314 smells like BO for an hour or two, and then it smells kind of interesting.

IS smells like neroli and gives me a headache if I inhale much.

[Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) smells like cologne.

I don’t know how to describe TUTH…it’s like a musky smell, very natural, very soft, not at all sexual. It seems very familiar to me but I don’t know from where.

So the survey question is:

\*Do any other men like the smell of TUTH? Any other straight men?

Other questions I’m wondering about are

\*Is there something else in TUTH besides androstenone that this could be?

\*Does this mean I’m more likely to like the smell of other products that men typically don’t (such as IFM)?

\*I like TUTH so much that I would consider wearing it all the time. Is just 1 spray really inappropriate for normal social situations? Can other people normally smell such a small amount?

Work out for 30 minutes to an hour and sniff your right armpit. There you have it, fresh androstenone, very similar to Turn Up The Heat. Male cat pee also is rich in androstenone hence the common comparison to cat pee. Go to Gold’s Gym on a hot Sunday afternoon for a sample of stale androstenone…

Personally I don’t care for the scent of androstenone but I grin 'n bare it since it helps make women hot 'n bothered. However androstenone is not an exclusive male pheromone as its also common on women although in lessor quantities. I’ve never caught wind of it on Asian women but some of my former White and Black GFs smelled of it after working out or running around on a hot humid day. Even smelled it below the belt.

Turn Up The Heat is know to contain steering [pheromones](https://a314.com/) and a wee bit of scent (EO), so that probably accounts for the slight diff in scent from pure androstenone.

I wish TUTH was what I (or other people) smelled like after a workout! Whatever’s in TUTH isn’t what I smell on sweaty people (or it’s covered up by their BO).

What’s sense?

Any idea what else is in TUTH? Maybe I’m ultrasensitive to one of the other ingredients…if I knew what it was, I’d get some and bathe in it.

I don’t mind it so much, but was at first self-conscious about what others might think. As time went on, I didn’t get anyone commenting on the weird smell, and so I’m not self-conscious anymore about it. But I’m not very keen on the neroli smell, it’s tolerable though I guess. I can’t even smell A1 though, which is the weird thing - and after all the comments saying it smells of cat piss I’m wondering how I will know if I have it “covered” properly. But then again, I sprayed IFM all over myself before and it appeared to work for its intended purpose - no one remarked on any smell of cat piss, I even got DIHLs, and all I could smell was that bit of EO they put in it.

If you are over 30 you may be able to get away with a spray of TUTH in daytime situations, as the Androtics site suggests.

Yeah, I find that IFM, Spaceland (to a certain extent after it dries down) and [Instant Jerk](https://a314.com/product/instant-jerk/) have the same ‘settled smell’ like TUTH. I like it. Hard to describe the smell, but it smells like natural exertion (like BO) without the offensive qualities of BO.

Also it depends on whose BO you’re sampling. Health, race, hygiene, diet, sex, etc., makes for very different BO qualities. Some mainland tourists are so rank and offensive after a day of wandering in Waikiki it boggles the mind. Others are mild–Asian females–and sorta pleasant. Obviously pure androstenone funk is different than rank BO. I find chemset androstenone similar to fresh pit sweat from a healthy vegetarian. Meat eaters have a lot more toxins for the bacteria to eat so the odor is more powerful and strongly acidic.

Finally the perception of androstenone’s scent varies considerably from person to person. Many guys can’t smell it at all while others find it mild to grossly offensive.

The steering mones in TUTH are a trade secret so, short of a chemlab analysis, we can only guess.
