I got my 3 to-gos in the mail today (my first order)–IH, IO, IShine. I put a quick spritz of IS on my wrist–the smell was SO horrible. Not the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), but the fragrance itself was VERY strong and reminded me of some gross cheap “manly” cologne. I assume this is neroli since it is the default fragrance for the to-gos? I have never liked men’s colognes (or most women’s perfumes, really), even men’s deodorant (conventional drugstore brands) gives me a headache. I now have a headache and it’s been an hour and the scent has barely “dried down”. I tried covering it with one of my own fragrances which is very light and vanilla-y, with no luck. I also hate smelling like food (for example, I like vanilla fragrances but not things that smell like cookies/cake/candy–esp Pink Sugar, which I know is a popular cover). Does anyone have any recommendations for future purchases in terms of scent–provided I can even use these to-gos for long enough to see if they work! Since I hate smelling like food, I don’t think the chocolatini or cookie would be good, maybe the coconut? I like a mild coconut milk type smell, not that “tropical” coconut that smells like a pina colada–does anyone have experience with the andro coconut or grapefruit scents? Or at least, do any of these truly dry down to smell barely-there?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Definitely don’t order the cookie smell - if you find neroli offensive, the cookie stink will make you cry. I suppose grapefruit is the lightest one.

Owh I can’t agree more.

If the pheros works for you, next time you order, you should customize the smell. It costs $15 to do so for the consumer products, like IO, IH, IS. Grapefruit’s the lightest scent of all and it blends well with normal cologne.

BTW, how many sprays is a quick sprtiz? Are you sure your getting a headache from the scents itself? Some first time users just get a headache from the pheromones. Your body has to adjust.

\*Yes. All of the scents has to dry down and smell lighter, before you spray your own perfume.

_ **A** _\*fter\*\* the neroli dries down, spray a little of your own perfume over it. The neroli would be barely noticeable. Though sometimes I use CK One with the neroli scented pheros. They smell nice together. 🙂
\*I myself love the neroli (I’d wear neroli alone sometimes) compared to the cookie. 😃

Look on the bright side! There are more foul-smelling products than the ones you are using now LOL.

Personally I like the neroli, it’s smell naturally blends with the citrusy fragrance of my Unforgivable cologne so nobody has really noticed any overt changes in my mones since starting.

Haha, a quick spritz meant just that, 1 spray. I do think it was from the fragrance because similar smells give me headaches (most men’s cologne). But I’m glad you all replied–I will definitely NOT be getting cookie!!

Also, I did let it dry down a bit before covering, but I could still smell the neroli even hours and hours later. I will try to let it dry for longer and find a more concentrated scent of my own to cover with.

I like the neroli myself as well, but when I get the TAL in neroli it doesn’t smell like IS to me at all. I tend to wear my ISX under my clothes - that way it’s is kinda diffused with my own scent and fabric softner. 🙂

The cookie is a rather strong scent but is good to wear in a large crowd where multiple scents can be smelled & if it’s one you plan to put only 1 or two sprits. I actually didn’t care much for the grapefruit myself. I don’t like strong scents and to me the neroli was the softest of them all. I don’t think IS has a lot of neroli in it because it is stronger than the TAH & TAL diffused with neroli & the scent is very different.

Also, keep in mind IS was originally developed for men but the [pheromone](https://a314.com/) it’s self is unisex.

If you don’t like all that stinky stuff, definitely check out Grapefruit. It is my absolute favorite, in fact, I order everything in Grapefruit. Even [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), etc, even though it costs a little extra, its worth it (for big bottles).

I actually dont find the neroli that bad. It does smell like men’s cologne but it dries to something else so fast!

BumbleBee8585;

Grapefruit is, one my favorites too, it’s light and relaxing to me.
