Tisha answered on another thread. Copied here for my own mental continuity. 😉

> [@Tisha's application tips](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/tishas-application-tips/12657/29):
>
> Over body lotion is fine it you just freshly lotioned it can sometimes slow diffusion but not as much as applying under body lotion.
>
> Body lotion slows diffusion a bit and makes the effect a bit more subtle much like using oils in my experience. Its good for those really hot months when your mones diffuse to fast.
>
> Sometimes what I do is put a big glob of lotion in my hand. Spray a few sprays of whatever mones into it. mix it up with my finger then smear it all over. Then I apply the rest of the mones normally. This seems to give me longer diffusion times and I get the instant effect as well. I usually just this in the summer months or with copulins.

Day 13, 15.June – Date or Friend?

1 IS/b 1x to chest, dabbed wrists on the spot, and then to my neck.

I had a number of errands and not enough sleep. People were helpful, chatty, and friendly (but I think that’s normal around me). More eye contact and shared smiles with cute guy strangers. I don’t know if my boldness is coming from the recent realization (still slow-ish to enact) that “who cares what a stranger thinks if I smile at them” or the mones.

I did have a date tonight, so I reapplied in the same pattern after a long bath (something like 8 hours after the first application) – honey lotion this time (I’d been running too late this morning for lotion). Aa is an Italian phD comp sci student doing an internship in town for just the summer, so I was a little nonplussed HOW to act physically with this guy who’s definitely been friendly, flirty, and helpful to me. I know he’s only looking for short-term due to the temporary nature of this position; I don’t know if he thinks I’m only looking for long-term. (Time-constraints are different than the “short-term mentality.”) We’ve been chatting online for a couple months, and he has helped me debugging the formatting of my papers (in a scientific typesetting program that’s much like coding in HTML).

I should have hugged him to begin with, but missed out since he didn’t look like he’d hug. Lots of smiling and laughing while talking over dinner. So much that the waitress had to keep returning to take our beer and food orders. He liked the place I picked. 😉 No intentional touching at the table, though we were next to each other on a square 4-person table, not across. Some very NEAR sort of grazing.

Ever since that one thread on body proportions I couldn’t stop looking at his giant hands! :o AND thinking, “Oh gods, I hope that’s not true!” 😮

He did say we’d see each other again, and did the Italian double-cheek “kiss;” I held his waist with one hand in a sort of mid-way-to-a-hug pause.

Whatever it was/is, it was fun, and he was a happy, witty, gentleman who kept giving me those “I can’t believe you’re making me laugh at that” looks. 😃

I chatted up a group of visiting comp sci grad students on the way home, attempting to give them some “local” advice on sightseeing, which is also something I am all too happy to do, and do often.

Days 14-16, 16-18.June.2011 – 1 spray 2x IS

Same application each day to my chest; wrists dabbed on the spray spot, and spread to sides of neck. Errands, physical therapy, and other general public activities – generally happy and upbeat interactions with strangers, checkers, and my PT. Nothing unusual for me. I had an epiphany, but the technical issues I’ve had with the forum prevented me from publishing timely reports. Weekend dates involving meeting his cat and dog, lots of walking, hiking, and trying out new restaurants. Animals love me anyway, and I’ve not met them without the 'mones. It’s fun; I wonder if it’s “right for me”, if I’m over thinking things, and how do I figure this out?

Days 17-19, 19-21.June.2011–2 sprays 1x IS/b

Same application pattern: chest/wrists/neck each of three days.
Strangely enough, Sunday’s date (the start of this three-day run) was more mellow.

More PT yesterday, and a meeting today. My PT seemed more calm/friendly. Normally he’s friendly and very energetic/joking. The prof for whom I’m grading I’d never met, but he was happy and chatty. Stopped in the department office (lady administrator) and the coffee shop (lady baristas). Nothing interesting.

Went home and _crashed_ for 2.5 hours since I was up last night with a 15-hour phone conversation from a guy I’ve never met in SoCal. I normally pretty much refuse to converse with distant guys as I’ve no interest in LDRs, but we seemed to click on a more conventional/conversational level through email, and both prefer voice to text. I’d no idea this level of insanity would ensue, to be followed up by a plane-taking visit in a couple weeks. 😮 All _his_ impetus.

Yay for You!!! 😃 Maybe it’s just a case of PNW guys. They’re kinda weird at the best of times.

PNW guys are far and above SoCal guys. (The one I was talking to is originally from the Midwest.) I think maybe you’re meeting the predominantly-transplanted guys–far too many are from SoCal. 😠

This is with IS/b??? That’s funny, I felt very subdued yesterday after IS/b (first trial of it), not in a bad way, just like you say, mellowed out.

I’ve heard it’s supposed to “soften” women, so maybe that’s it?
