I agree with butterfly. Yeah sure there are men out there you can play games with and they will definitely take the bait but in the end it’s just a game.

If you want to have a genuine relationship with someone take your time and let things progress , no one can hide who they really are forever. Show him straight of what you will and will not put up with.

My guy friends will comment that they like a girl but she is too nice, which means she is gullable and if they can take advantage of you they will and in the end won’t respect you.

On the other hand, life is hard without having someone in your life who is negative and makes you unhappy, even if you wanna be with that person eventually you will have to ask yourself a question and let go.

Just being yourself with a positive , confident attitude is good enough. If it doesn’t work out it wasn’t meant to be. Move on knowing you didn’t compromise yourself in the process and go out there to find that one for you.

> I like that last tip. It is kind of like it is with writing, when you start with a positive, then a negative and then a big positive, people still associate a positive feeling with you.
>
> Pulling away when a guy you are dating did something you don’t like is pretty normal. The alternative is to stick around biting your tongue and being unhappy, which builds resentment. So it is ultimately best for both of you if you just say you don’t like this and spend time on other things that make you feel better.
>
> A lot of people who are too nice and hold in their anger also build up resentment and take that out on people who don’t deserve it. Spending time with someone out of duty makes for a pretty bad time. They often do things for others with the expectation that they will be taken care of in return and fail to take care of their own needs. These same people can also become bitter and unhappy.

> When you seem snippy with a guy for no good reason, he will likely assume you are being too, too nice with other men and then taking it out on him. Or when you are harsh with all men now, maybe you were a doormat for some guys who used you in the past and are taking that out on the men you date today. Who wants to be the punch bag to vent the anger that other people caused?
>
> I think if you feel happy and look after yourself that makes you very attractive. It is also a lot more charming to sometimes show spontaneous anger when you are wronged, than to build up an underlying atmosphere of resentment. After a burst of anger, you can easily be charming again, which makes you seem feisty rather than bitter.
