I theorize that pheromone use can be used to change ones personality with repetative use (ie long term use) This was brough about by the A314 meglomania post [A314 - megalomania?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/a314-megalomania/2408)

> …By the way yesterday I went out without the A314 and got some similar reactions just by using the bodylanguage. If A314 changes your behaviour and you keep track of it you’ll learn a lot about how you can act more confidently.
> I think your body naturally knows how to act like a leader, you just have to activate the bodylanguage somehow.
> Maybe you have to unlearn your submissive subject behaviour. 😃…

> That’s awsome. I relate to this to an extreme. Pheromone use has improved my life simply because of this reason here. I think it goes a little furthing than body language. I think it can allow you to slowly condition your subconcious to better yourself. In short, If I wear A314 I will slowly become more confident. That will stay with me even if I stop using it. That applies to every pheromone I use to help change my actions. Taa for mood, androstenol for communication, ect…

It makes perfect sence to think that [pheromones](https://a314.com/) could slowly change you into the person you desire to be. I also think that the changes would self taylor themselves to each individual due to what that person would wear. If somebody is a little shy, they are probably going to wear more alphanol or taa than anything else over their period of pheromone use. Eventualy they will become more social.

I think that the pheromones self effects and not the only reason that one would change. Using alphanol again as an example in a hypothetical situation:

Bob want to create more conversation and openness in his life. He uses instant openness which helps him become more open himself, but also encourages the people around him to be more open. Experiencing how to be more open though pheromones will help him become this way, and having the people around him put him in situations requiring openness and communication slowly break down all the barriers Bob has put in place that resulted in his shy, closed off persona.

So what do you think? Can pheromones help reshape a person who wants to change? I think so.

I say: the ability of most humans to learn, to adapt when motivated to do so is dramatic.

Some don’t, they’re inherently ‘brittle’ people.

Great observation, using pheros as the vehicle for self-change.

Yes - great observation. Tacitus made the same point - that pheromones are social learning accelerants. You don’t need to make other changes in your life to benefit but if you combine it with bodywork (rolfing/feldenkrais), voice work, hypnosis, changes in dress, social skills exercises (a la pua newbie challenge) you will see dramatic results.

well yeah i think they can, but the most important factor here is the person’s desire to change in the first place, which of course brought them to pheromone usage.

Now say there were no pheromones to be had. If that person is truly motivated to change some aspect of themselves, they would employ some other method to affect that change.

I absolutely agree, Toil. In fact I think that’s how someone can observe what they interpret as pheromone effects even when they are across the street from targets - they’ve embodied the qualities of what they’re wearing so well that the effects are only indirectly attributable to the pheromones.

That’s why once you’ve been working with pheros as a tool for personal growth for a good while (months to years) you can go without them for long periods without losing much effect.

EXACTLY!! I agree wholeheartedly…pheromones just seem to make it a little easier for some people…those are often the people who don’t feel that they can do it alone…they need a little help…which is fine, we all need a hand from time to time…

they definitely make it easier. i had stumbled across some sort of mental “small talk” block, and if it weren’t for pheros i’d have a tough time snapping out of it.

Here, here! I am really happy to see the conversation at the macro level of personal (human?) development, beyond “OMG, I must have that hot dude/chick” (although there’s nothing wrong with wearing some libido-raising pheromones 😉 )

AHA! So that’s the “but how can pheromones go through glass?” answer.

Carrie, do you feel these pheromone impossible situations are the result of increased awareness due to using pheromones and what knowledge coincides, or is it due to body language changes creating the super long distance or through glass results?

lol…that’s great. I hate that. It’s so frustrating. Or the across the room stare down. They never has a nice looks on their faces. They just stare. It’s kind of creepy. I don’t know what to do. Smile? Wink? Give them the bird?

If by increased awareness you imply self consciousness, then no. If you mean some kind of enhancement of social radar, possibly.

What I’m suggesting is expansion of one’s usual mindset and emotional states: degrees of receptivity & permeability vs. social control and inhibition, extroversion vs introversion, affection & empathy vs alienation, a sense of mastery of one’s domain (alpha-ness?), expressiveness, etc.

All of these are _congruently communicated_ through body language, gait, gesture, affect, facial expression, the smoke coming out of your ears … it all speaks very eloquently for you, even at some distance.

Based on comments I’ve read here on related topics, I think that people with acting experience might be more attuned than most of us to internal changes like this … while some who enter the world of pheromones with an already highly developed sense of mastery, fluidity, maturity, expressiveness and social skills (Gegogi?) may not notice changes they consider profound. I mean, if James Bond put on some A314, would he feel any difference? Not likely, I think. But on me, that’s a very profound [pheromone blend](https://pheromonelabs.com/product-category/advanced/experimental/).

Also there may be some personality types whose inner framework for whatever reason remains more constant, thus they aren’t as likely to experience perceptual/experiential shifts, whether from pheros or other potential triggers (substances, falling in love, meditation, peak experiences, etc). Or maybe they’re not self-reflective enough to track such changes even if they are happening?

Now, nobody take this personally, please! 😮 I’m just speculating here, wondering why some notice changes and others don’t.

well if we create our reality through thought

and intention

then no amount of action

can compensate for a static self impression.

(we’re going to see/notice changes and differences when we decide changing is cool and whether phermones help or not, something eventually will facilitate it!)

I think this is what excites me most about these products (I’m new haven’t even got the goods yet but they are ordered). Although I have no experience with pheromones yet I have recently started reading and practicing “the master key system” by Charles F Haanel. He contends that the subconscious mind is responsible for our reality and that is non-judgmental it just accepts what it perceives (or your what conscious thoughts tell it) to be true. It also states that who you are now is a result of your past thinking. So if you do get results from the pheromones your subconscious mind doesn’t think about why it just accepts this as your reality and creates a “new” you. I’m sure many of you have heard this before but Haanel’s book/course states it very eloquently and in a profound way. If any of you have seen the dangerous half truth known as “the secret” do yourself a BIG favor and go to this site. [The Master Key System by Charles F. Interesting. Yeah, I sold my copy of ‘the secret’ on eBay the other day. I’ll look into the Master Key System. I read another free e-book that somebody zshared to me, but I forgot the name of it. It was decent, but I got the idea. I haven’t practiced this system, though. I’m still pretty skeptical about it, even though I did do similar things to change my life a few years ago for the worse.
