I’ve noticed that most posters/testers focus on what effects the pheromones have on others, but I feel the effects they have on the wearer are _at least_ as important.

I’ve been using (typically) two sprays of Instant Shine, one spray of [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/), and one spray of MX292, all to the neck. I find this combination boosts my mood and self-confidence substantially. I find I’m more talkative with strangers and more willing to approach women. I feel calmer, less nervous, more in control.

The other day I went out and when I got to where I was going I suddenly remembered I’d forgotten to use the pheros. Despite the fact there were many women around and it was my intention to approach some of them I ended up not speaking to anyone. I just didn’t have that extra edge, that higher than normal sense of self-confidence.

When I use the pheros I’m able to start conversations with women. Conversations that they willingly continue. It may be only that the pheros are having an effect on them…but I believe they’re also responding to how I feel about myself, and how I’m projecting that.

I find it almost doesn’t matter if the pheros are effecting the women I approach. Self-confidence is the strongest attractor for a woman and the self-confidence the pheros give me is, in my opinion, the most valuable thing. If the pheros open a door with their effects on women, but I’m not self-confident enough to walk through it, then it’s probably for naught.

How do other people feel about this?

this is in response to the “self effects” part only, not the latter portion.

true, self effects are important, but for many users, they become less noticeable as time goes on. for example, the first time i used ishine, i was blown away. permanent smile on my face, happy thoughts, good tone of voice, etc. with more use, these effects (but not results) started to fade.

why?

for one, it’s about sig building and maintenance. i liked what i got from the ishine so i started incorporating that into my natural sig. now i walk around with a permanent smile, happy thoughts, and a good tone of voice. same goes for a sexual or status phero. also, there’s the tolerance of pheros, much like alcohol or stimulants. you get a kick the first few times, then gradually it evens out. the strong self-effects taper down a bit.

with these factors combined, at least in my experience, the focus is less on a balanced view of self- and target-effects, and more on target-effects.

Self effects, as Jay says, can decrease as you acclimate. To prevent that, use them off and on, and in different combinations. No matter how much you acclimate, given enough time, you can undo that effect.

The importance of self effects depends on the effect on you versus them. Some [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) affect me in ways that are more powerful in results on me, and some are better affecting others. For instance, Panty Scorcher does not affect me at all, that I can tell… but it definitely affects those around me. MX292 affects both me and those around me in a powerful way. A drop of A314 to my chin will affect me with a powerful sense of confidence, but not much affect others; a few drops to my arms, and it affects everybody, but I need three drops to get the same impact as one to my chin. (I use 1 to chin and 2 to backs of hands for that reason).

I agree that self effects are very important. But something you said suggests to me that you have built up a psychological dependence on pheromones as your basis for self confidence.

What if you completely forgot to wonder if you had put them on? Sure pheromones are great for helping with social anxiety (I love that too) but make sure it’s not just your expectations that kill you when you don’t have them on.

“so i started incorporating that into my natural sig. now i walk around with a permanent smile, happy thoughts, and a good tone of voice”

Well, this is a self-effect. We may be more in agreement than you realize.

Oh, I thought of the possibility of a psychological dependence. But the situation was that I reached my destination and became aware that I wasn’t feeling confident and _then_ suddenly realized I’d forgotten to use the pheros. And I attributed the former to the latter…maybe correctly, maybe not.

I don’t need to use the pheros to feel good. I’m not addicted to them. I don’t use them every day. Also, it’s only certain pheros that effect me (as is the case with you).

“A drop of A314 to my chin will affect me with a powerful sense of confidence, but not much affect others”

Okay, but my question is this…do others respond positively to this self-effect, to your powerful increase in self-confidence? (Also, if you put more than one drop on your chin or neck would it effect others, as well? Could it be that one drop is simply not a high enough dose?)

speaking on my experiences only, yes, others will be affected by your change, even if they’re not around you.

say i’m on a call with someone. normal chit chat work stuff. the next day, i use some a314. i feel good, hold my head up high, take charge of things. the people around me at work will feel this. the guy on the phone, even though he may be next door or a thousand miles away, will feel this, most likely through my tone of voice and how i approach/dissect the conversation.

the a314 dose itself can affect others too. 1d for me is pure gold with my gf. i don’t really even have to do anything. she gets a “boyfriend-y” vibe from me. 2d, however, is the exact opposite. it goes over her head. i ghost for bit, or i make her agitated because she thinks she is not good enough for me. i have to let it die down a bit before she returns to normal. again this is with me not doing anything out of the ordinary.

Self confidence is a very strong statement. It shows in your speech, your body language, your posture, how you move, how fast you move, choice of words, and your level of direct eye contact. It shows in your actions. Think of someone walking on a steel beam 25 stories up without any tethering. The average person would fall off because they get nervous. There are guys who do it every day all day for years without a second thought, and they don’t fall off because they have the confidence of experience. You think self confidence doesn’t have a powerful effect on others? Which one do you respect? The guy who does it for years or the flesh puddle? lol

My last two major relationships, which cover my dating history for the last 7 years, were both women who were attracted because of my self confidence more than anything. And they told me so. Neither of them think I am half bad looking, but that wasn’t what really interested them… it was my self confidence. That was before I even knew about pheromones.

One drop of A314 is enough to affect yourself and others, but not in a way that is typically going to be noticed. Some people notice it, but most don’t. You have to understand that that one drop, or three drops, or whatever, is having to fill a relatively large volume of air with a specific level of pheromones to have a powerful enough effect to see. Putting a drop on your chin means that it’s much easier to get the right level fo self effects than putting a drop on your wrists, for instance. It is, in a very basic sense, the same law of physics that photographers must understand when dealing with light that states that light falls off at the square of the distance. Only, with fluids, it becomes more complex. So one drop might be plenty on your upper lip or chin, but way too little on your wrists.

It’s been years since I’ve noticed regular self-effects–about 5 years in fact! Many of us build a tolerance and effects fade. I normally don’t feel a damn thing although I once got a nice edgy buzz off androstenone mixes. Actually I’m glad as I prefer a clear head and want to control my targets and not be under the spell of my own poison. If I really need a buzz beer 'n buds since work fine.
