# Should I shake Instant Shine before spraying? Are you suppose to shake the spray bottles before and after each use? I’m halfway done with my [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), and I just sprayed some, and it smells different… Hmmm… ---

For the Instant line and other stuff pre-mixed by Androtics, it’s probably not necessary. If you’re doing your own mixing, especially combining any oil-based stuff with alcohol-based, it’d be a good idea. -D4 ---

I usually shake it a little, not up and down, but just tilt to the sides a few times. It probably helps especially if the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) were sitting there for a while without being used ---

my bottles are being shaked constantly so no need 😛 ---

yeah i always give it a slight shake just before i spray it…not sure if its needed…but it cant hurt i guess. ---

Never shakes my bottle, but maeby somthing i will start to do… ---
