_VERY_ smart idea checking it all out before you chose any place. There are neighborhoods and vibes where you dont want to be, for bad crime reasons, and bad-just-not-me- reasons. Traffic is pretty miserable, but the BART is actually quite a good thing, shootings not withstanding. 🙂

Though rent is CRAZY, I’d look in the East Bay as well. San Jose can be decent too, as well as the South Peninsula. Since you are such a devoted father, I know you are already considering this, but the schools out there are very different than the schools you are used to in FLL. Make sure you do your research.

Craigs List is one of the best resources for anything out there - lots and lots of house/apartment/condo listings there. Good deals too.

I’m really very glad to hear that it will all work out for your family. While I am sorry to hear that your marriage fell apart, you two are making an admirable go around of a yucky situation, and doing a great job with your daughter. You are an example as a father, and as a man. 🙂

> What was weird about the rep thing was the people would give me a possitive rep, then write something on how messed up I was for doing it, or there were some nasty comments next to a gray rep block . But i’m pretty sure I know who that was.

> My daughter will be moving there a few months after I get there. My x and I came to an agreement that when she is done with her job here in Oct., she and my daughter will be moving to San Fran so that we could keep our custody agreement, and my x can attend the school she wanted to go to. We will both maintain shared (50/50) custody, she gets to go to the school she wanted to go to, and I am able to finish the remaining 6 years I have left with the agency I work for. Everyone kind of gets what they wanted. Most of all my daughter gets us both living not to far from one another.

> When I first came here, I kept my pheros a secret from my wife. The IH, IFM etc had the desired effects, the TUTH didn’t:(. After a while, I told her about my ‘little secret’ and then watched as their effect on her was drastically reduced to the point that it is now 4 am over here and I am currently downloading my divorce petition for the family court!

> I fully appreciate your concern for her welfare at work and, given what you’ve been through, admire you for it. Don’t rock the boat for yourself, IMO, the potential downside for you is far worse than any benefits for her.

I understand your desire to do something you know is good for someone who you inevitably consider an old friend. But man if you open that door, you are gonna have _ **alot of explaining** _ to do.

Think of something else you can do for her. Maybe NLP or some alpha woman course. Ladies?

Diamond my friend, you have my deepest sympathies on your loss.

I know it does not help you now, but the truth is, we all carry in us the lifelong ache from the loss of lives only dreamed …
