# Should pheromone bottles be shaken before applying, and how should they be stored?

This may be a dumb question, but should i shake any of the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) before applying, and are therre any other special storage considerations i should take into account?

I generally shake my mones bottle before I use them but if you could share what mones you have that would help .

For storage not in extreme temperature…just normal room temp and you should be fine

Yeah I rembember there being a thread about this a while back and almost everyone seemed to respond that they shook it before hand… Although I have to admit I’ve never shaken my bottles and they seem to work just fine.

And oh I forgot to add be sure to store your pheros in a cool dark place. And keep it out of the heat.

…And what ever you do don’t feed 'em after midnight!

You can but you dont have to. If you did Androtics would write “shake before use” on the bottle. 😃

Shaking would be more important when making your own mixes because then you would not be using Androtics method of getting each spray at the same molecular level. This is what they mean when they say “dosed” spray Its a secret dont ask LOL 😉
