> Maybe it was all creative license, but if you drink as much as you _say_ you do, your liver could be in some distress and that could give you a tummy ache, too.

OH yeah, back when I was younger I did drink lot’s of rum, but learned my lesson. Remember I was pretty obese and have had a complete medical workup several times over the past year. My organs are in great shape and all my diet and exercise has paid off.

A week ago my doctor gave me a thorough exam and again another clean bill of health. The only real problem is from a very serious accident I had while at work that damned near killed me. For this I was prescribed massive amounts of drugs but chose natural alternatives instead.

I will sometimes take meds, and yeah sometimes I’ll get ill, but what is evident lately is that this is something that is assosiated with the smell.

I smell the pheromones and all of a sudden within minutes I fell ill.

I will attempt to take Toils advice and lay-off them for a day or cut back to one app a day. With the wonderful results I get it will be tough, but maybe I need to reset my nose. Now where did I put that reset button.

>
> All right – forgetting about overdose, which is when you apply too much pheros for OTHERS to handle, what about a “challenge level” of pheros: you apply x amount of some phero, and you are okay, although it is a challenge “living up to the pherosignature”.
>
> Perhaps if you apply more than x amount, beyond the appropriate “challenge level”, you get into a place where you have real difficulty being congruent with the pherosignature. In other words, you might have a performance expectation, and yet there is also a “congruency gap.”
>
> So … such a gap would be a stressor. You could surface your stress with an ache here and a discomfort there, physically. Saying “psychosomatic” can be dismissive or stigmatizing, so I’ll say “somatopsychic” instead. Or, we can just let it go that such a response is native to “sort-of intelligent mammals.”
>
> Steveo, you’ve said you lost a lot of weight, so eating and food has perhaps been a platform/stage for working out (non-verbal) issues, in which case a stomach ache might be a natural for you – whereas someone else might have a headache, or their eyes get tired or watery, another person might sneeze, etc. etc.
>
> Although I can’t be sure, it does seem that I’ve gotten diarrhea a couple of times as a result of “nervous stomach” from an excess of pheros. More often, I’ve experienced some notable perceptual distortions, visual and auditory.
>
> I say: maybe your stomach ache is a coincidence, maybe not. The “goes away with shower” part is particularly interesting to me.

Very interesting indeed. It is definetly something I will keep an eye on in my journal.

It’s hard to put a absolute finger on it. Whenever I wore Pettulia oil I loved the scent. After all I followed the Grateful Dead to hundreds of shows, so I’m a real hippy. The smell never bothered me, but without fail I would always get sick to my stomach. It took me weeks to figure out what it was. Finally I had to start journaling every part of my day and things I ate and wore. It came down to my beloved Pettulia oil and I’ve stopped wearing it.

It’s strange, but one morning I showered in a friends house and I became ill later that day. I didn’t know it, but she had a bar of pettulia oil soap. I found out a few days later when I smelled it’s very distict odor on her. If other people wear it I’m good, if I do I’m sick.

I’m thinking possible alergy?

Yep, allergic responses are protean. But are there psychic allergens as well as physical allergens?

> I’m sorry if you feel it necessary to take offense at my reply, but I was simply pointing out facts.

I’m not offended in the least. I simply pointed the obvious: pheromones don’t create digestive illnesses. Mayhaps you’re suffering from a psychosomatic disorder. If pheromones caused bodily illness we’d all be keeling over each time we caught wind of ourselves. Locker rooms and gyms would be living hell. Nevertheless, if I was offended I’d tell you in no uncertain terms, use CAPS and curse ye unto the 7th generation! Otherwise I’m normally as stone faced as a Buddha.

However, if you do react to EOs in the same manner as patchouli oil it is possible a scented [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) caused the problem, but not the actual pheromone content. Manys EOs and perfumed soaps give me a nasty rash. The scent in A314 makes me break out. I can use chemset androsterone (A314 is mostly Androsterone) until the cows come home. Add a few drops of clove or cedar and my arm looks like pizza. Incidentally, patchouli oil is one of the few EOs that don’t give me a rash. Too bad I don’t like smellin’ like a dad burn earth daddy!

Hi all,

ignoring the attempts to highjack the thread and getting back to the original subject.

IS gives me a slight headache and an upset stomach about 20 minutes after I spray it on. The bad stomach lasts for about an hour then clears up. The headache goes after about half an hour.

This may not be what some people here want to hear, however the effects are there.

PS. If you want to talk about music or pop groups or whatever, PLEASE allow the original poster the courtesy of doing it elsewhere.

Regards,

Chessplayer

WOW! I’ve done heard it all now.

I’m really sorry I hijcaked the thread to talk about the Grateful Dead and all. Sheesh what was i thinking?

The problem with this thread is Lor keeps avoiding the question.

So how bout it Lor?

Huh, Huh, how bout it, come on, huh, come on, answer me, say it, huh 😃

OK back to the other subject. I just couldn’t resist the idea of spraying myself with pheromones before work this morning. Damnit I tried and I think if we all get togethor we could get a class action going against Jasmin and MHarris for addicting us. They would have to give us all pheromones for life as punsihment. I think Jasmin might just be the pied piper and her magic flute is actually misting a sub-atomic atomizer of pheromones as she leads the masses into almost certain brain entrainment.

Oops there I go rambling again. I put on the regular mix only 1 time and no ill affects to the tummy. I’ll do that for a few days and then maybe I’ll start doubling the doses one pheromone at a time.

I noticed someone else on this thread said they got headaches. It could actually be some type of hormonic reaction. I don’t care if it makes my eyes bleed I’m not giving up wearing them.

So Lor how bout it?

steveo, i have gotten headaches before, too.
i think my problem with the phero-blame is that i have worn the pheros without ill-result, but i do know scent in general can give me a headache/nausia if i wasnt having my best day to begin with.
pair pheromones/perfume up with a high protein meal, _guarenteed_ _icky_.

as for the marraige/honeymoon thing…

I wear A314 even despite the rash is gives me. Luckily I only need a few drops. Now that I think of it, some really heavy women’s perfumes-Chanel No. 5–irritate my eyes and make me feel like hurling. I can actually taste the scent from 5 feet away. No stomach ache but then I didn’t stick around very long.

Ah dunno, Lor looks like a real hottie in her “soft focus” portrait. I might marry her too.

Dammit Lor,

It don’t matter if we got married, we could always get that annulment after the honeymoon is over in 6 weeks. 6 weeks with Lor would be worth the death of steveo.

Zoanks! 😛

Truth be told, if that really is your picture, you remind me a lot of an ex-girlfriend who I was crazy in love with. She was beautiful, broke my heart, but all the same beautiful

So all joking aside, that was my way of a compliment. Sometimes us guys get so caught up in the sex thing we forget to appreciate the beauty itself. You my dear, are beautiful!

“Sick to the stomach”

I should mention that IS gives me a bad stomach.

Very, very, very sorry that I thought that these threads were for reasoned discussion about pheromones.
