Hi Everyone, I’m Dani, Italian male, 34 yo, for 15 years, I’ve been singing, gigs, session musician, nothing fancy, just enough to make ends meet, around Spain, UK and America; Like I said, nothing big, so I had to look for other ways to pay the rent, yacht delivering, dive master, climbing instructor, bungee jumping instructor, clinical studies, cooking and IT. Being mostly London based I was always meeting new people, at first I’d be a bit intimidating to some, but it’s probably due to myself being slightly shy and trying to keep the distance, then if the chemistry is right we get along, if not we part ways, no mystery there. But 2 years ago I got offered an IT job in Madrid, Spain, good money plenty of free time, the problem, I hit a wall with the locals, whenever I speak they just look at me as if plagues were coming out of my mouth, so I just don’t know what to say anymore, in my spare time I am touring Spain, beautiful country, and dialogue is fluent with Catalans, Basques, Galician, even in Portugal with the Portuguese, but whenever I get back to Madrid, nothing, can’t communicate, that includes dating, it gets done outside of Madrid or if I get somebody paying me a visit. I guess I could leave for good, but that wouldn’t really solve anything, this is where I thought Pheros would come handy, I mean, I haven’t taken any yet and by reading some of the threads I have learnt a bit about myself and has made me aware of some details I might have been overlooking about my fellowmen. I’m still reading posts in order to evaluate what’d suit better for my communication status with these folks: -A314: I guess I should stay away from this one, but then again, according to others it’s a must, specially when I’m at work. -Instant Shine: this one appears to be a must for my special needs, but conversation flow is not the problem, the content of the conversation is. -[Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/): Sounds appropriate too. -Instant Honesty: Might get people telling me what is wrong with my wording. I don’t know about the female oriented Pheros, I love flirting as much as the next guy, but it requires exactly what is lacking right now, fluid conversation. Hey dccb, A musician eh? Herr artiste! And with such diverse taste. To top it off, a linguist too. Incredible! Sounds like you don’t need pheromones, but they are like icing on the cake. From your post, you are interested in professional and social application of pheromones, correct? Well, for the professional, you _should_ look at A314. That is _the premiere_ workplace pheromone. The one trick with it is to be congruent with the signature, while still remaining sociable because it can scare people off. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is a nice way to soften up the A314, but I would not use it to increase the quality/content of communication. I would go for IH for that, as you have mentioned. IO purportedly increases quantity of communication. IFM is supposed to achieve something similar with women, although it takes a circumventing approach by making women comfortable with you. Otherwise, that first line up looks excellent for what you want. Good luck. ---

Hi DCCB, Welcome to the forum. Continue taking a look around and getting yourself familiar with the stickies in the mens section. I think you are looking at some good products to start off with. THe socials (shine openness and honesty), are good start products and will give off good vibes. However you may just be coming against cultural differences, but I am sure you have already noted that. Hi Dani, welcome to the forum! I’m with Curouschic, go with the socials, Shine, Openness, Honesty. They are all very easy to use and work well together through layering too. In your work atmosphere they should really do you good. Read up on layering in Stupid Newbie Tricks in my signature. There’s also good reading in the sticky threads in the Men’s forum. Seriously I think you have it all together and yet something is holding you back so I am going to do my best to help you out. A314 is definitely not the right course here. I think Tenant got so caught up in all your remarkable qualities he missed the part that you are shy and having the locals take to you. A314 will give you celebrity status, but my humble opinion thinks you might be a bit overbearing to those locals right now, whether you know it or not. A lot of times when a man with all the talent that you have comes along there are others who feel intimidated by there very presence. You my friend are making a huge presence in the community and I think we need to build that presence as a humble gentleman, simple in his signature, but deep in his being. Ah an outlet for University Philosophy 😃 I strongly suggest a base of [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) to protray you as respectful to the “locals” and some Instant Shine to soften that hardcore adventurist exterier you are showing. If you’re talking about work to anyone, stop it. Find a local, even if its just one local and befriend him/her. Yep you are still going to have to do 80% of the work here. Show volnerabillity and let them take you under their wing. A good way to meet people is community service and at the same time it builds character and helps the world shine brighter. On top of those two Instant Line products I recomend some Instant Honesty to help the locals build trust in your gentlemanly character. Instant Openness is good for chatter, but what good is chatter without trust and that’s why I say IH more so. As an Italian who I can almost bet is in very fit shape, I am thinking you are probably producing some -none already so if you do try Ammo use it only in clubs and in low dose ammounts. Make sure you buffer it with heavy Ishine though or there may be bloodshed. I think you will find your sweet spots and may I also suggest learn the customs of the locals from the locals. Don’t go about it on your own if you can help. I lived in Grenada in the West Indies for a year and it was only after Hurricane Ivan did the locals actually start to accept that I was a normal human just like they were. That’s because I was the only non-native that stayed on the island and helped even when everyone else was jumping ship. Tears and Laughter are something we all share in common. Well SteveO, you shure know how to massage a man’s ego, they should appoint you Major of Madrid. Thank you for your advice and for the smoky gift certificate, it was worth burning down my inbox. I’m sold to the Instant shine, but I’m still hesitating about what else to get, and I’m going to tell you why, if I may… I’ve been putting my neuropathways to good use, it goes like this: I’m not a slacker, so I will still work my 100% plus the 20% of Pheros, that makes 120%, but you see, 80% of the people I have met in 2 years are still living with their parents; some of them are 20, others 30+, they don’t dare question what media throws at them; E.G: they believe that anywhere outside Europe they remove your kidneys or kidnap you, they all have a friend of a friend whose brother never came back from Mexico. To top it up, the guys I work with, real IT professionals, still send around those emails of Microsoft will give you a huge amount of money if you forward the email to all your contacts, need I say more? So my plan is, do you want to succeed in something? Then get female help, because they make the world spin around, I will get the proper female friendly Phero and take some of the guys out, that is actually how I got closer to my neighbors and few of my colleges at work last Xmas, took them party all night. Now, what would be the outcome of 7 to 12 guys wearing ammo? Or maybe Instant female magic? Plus CTTM. Should they all wear it, am I out of my head? Maybe I am, but the idea is growing on me. In response to SteveO, yes, I am slightly shy, my lifestyle is normal to me and to my close friends, we do what we enjoy, eventually you get good at it and can even make a buck out of it. Cara Gothic doll, Bene grazie, e tu? I’m sure there are more Italians around here. I have placed my first order today, [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), A314 & Ammo. Yep, I have changed my approach, after having to think about my issues here in Madrid, in order to put them in writing in my prior posts and after a week of high fever, nasty virus, I have decided to quit my job and move out, I have bought a ticket to Bangkok for Oct 13th, but first I’m meeting with 2 of my ratpack friends to divide the Pheros we have carefully chosen. I know none of this makes sense, but nothing does when you are hitched with fever. I guess I came to realize that I am the immature one here, and like in any relationship, if you don’t have the will to do something positive towards the other person, apologize and get the hell out of their way because you will only rot things. I’ve already packed my Martin’s Backpackers guitar, swim trunks and a smile; I just hope the pheros get here before I leave. I thank you guys for the comments, SteveO thank you again for the GC.
