Ok so… last week, my pheromones came in on Monday. I ordered Instant Sexiness, [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), and received a free Instant Honesty. Yay. 🙂
I really wanted them to use for my college orientation which was on Wednesday. I used Monday and Tuesday to experiment on what I might want to use on orientation day. Take notice of hits, etc, find out exactly what I should use and how much. I know, two days isn’t much but I feel I had it well figured out.
So on that day, before heading out to take the subway to the school (7 am) I sprayed:
-1.5 sprays of Openness to my chest (I count half because when you start the bottle the first spray was very weak, not a full spray, so I added one more to that.)
-1 spray of Openness split between wrists
-1 spray of IS/a back of neck
-1 spray of IS/a onto the top of my head/into my hair (if that makes sense?)
Plenty of hits on the train. Plenty of hits in school. I’m not even going to write all of them, just that I was very happy about it all. I was hoping IS/a and Openness would be a perfect combo… because I didn’t just want people to find me more attractive, I wanted them to find me attractive AND easy to talk to! 😃
Plenty of stares and guys randomly talking to me, but I was also happy because girls were also super friendly and open with me. I was thinking the IS/a might possibly intimidate them, but it didn’t.
At 11am when I got a chance to go to the bathroom I didn’t want the pheromone effects to wear off so I added just one extra spray of Openness to my chest, and one spray of IS/a to my hair.
As I left the bathroom, I started getting scared that maybe I was gonna have an OD… but nope! If anything, I was getting more hits! It was so good. I couldn’t have asked for more from those sprays that day. My main goal was to leave a great first impression and I feel like I did that.

This is where the problem starts.
The next day, I had to come in to register for classes, and meet my academic advisors. Obviously I wanted to leave a good impression on them as well, so in the morning I used the SAME exact combination as the previous day. Yes, I know about pheromones staying on you and leaving subtle effects into the next day, and that I might have an OD if I add extra sprays to what I had left on me. So, the night before this when I came home I washed the areas I had applied it very well to ensure none of it was left.
Taking the train and walking to the school I notice I started kind of shaking. I felt very anxious and I can’t explain why. I had that shakiness one would get from drinking like three cups of coffee… but I didn’t drink any coffee that morning!!!
Coming into the lecture hall in which I was assigned was so awkward! All the people that I talked to the day before at orientation seemed to pay no mind to me. I take a seat and wait for my advisors to bring my group into another room. When I was in the next room, we were registering for classes. I was super frustrated because like every class I wanted to take as my first choice was full. When I tried to talk to the people around me they would barely talk and just kind of shrug me off. I don’t understand! The day before they were sooo willing to talk to me! And also one of my advisors, some young, pretty woman I noticed was very friendly with the other girls but when it came time to help me with my classes she was acting very awkward. Giving me odd, almost confused or intimidated looks and talking as little as possible… just doing her job and then going away to talk to someone else, which obviously she was nice to them. All the people that I tried talking to that kinda shrugged me off didn’t even say bye to me when they were leaving, but they did to everyone else. I went home feeling sooooo weird.

A few days later I decided to give this combination one more shot. I thought, hey, maybe that was just an off day and it would work this day. I went to apply for a job in downtown Manhattan and, well, no hits. From anyone. I’m glad I wasn’t avoided… but I wasn’t noticed either!!!

I just want people to act towards me like they did that day I used those pheromones on orientation. I though I had found my “sweet spot” but apparently I was wrong. Help? :

First of all, excellent report!

Secondly I really don’t think you OD’d at all lol

To my knowledge the instant line lasts maximum 6-8 hrs when applied to your skin, and it also depends on the temperature of your environment. If it’s warm your pheros are getting diffused faster and if you perspire you’re basically washing away the pheros.

Do take note that sometimes it takes time for your body to adjust to your new signature…give it a few tries/days. But then you were also going to an orientation, it’s a new place, new people, it’s normal to feel nervous on that day lol I feel nervous for my orientations as well lol

Anyhow if you’re still shaking, then maybe something is wrong…hmm, I’m sure other members will drop by to give their 2 cents.

Okey, [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) don’t make a person the life of a party all the time. You also mentioned that you washed yourself the night before, so basically you can’t blame the products 😉 since you had none on you, so they didn’t affect you or others around you. So its not the products.

To me…it seems like you were _really really_ trying to get attention from people. Registering for courses is the first thing in people’s mind, it’s such an important thing to set up your schedule for your classes! plus people got to pay attention about the course details in an orientation. Making new buddies so fast is the last thing on people’s mind.

Pheromones don’t always give those dihls or stares, not every day imho. I use pheromones 5/7 a week and I usually get mild hits most of the time. The dihls and intense stares do happen, but not as often. There are even somedays where I don’t get anything at all. It happens, pheros aren’t magic, they enhance you. Some people will catch up on it and find you attractive, others may not. Don’t let this put you down though. This is the fun part of experimenting!

When you say you used the exact same sprays, locations, and amount, were you talking about using the first set of sprays or were you using the total amount including your “refresh” sprays?

Sometimes I get an OD type reaction with Instant Shine. The TAA in it is reported to wear off pretty quickly, like 4 hours, so respraying with that several hours later, as opposed to putting it all on at once can make a difference. But because of the way you wore these there is no way to be sure of anything, or even if the [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) were the problem.

It is a good idea when trying new pheromone mixes to stick to one product at a time when you first start using it. That way, when there is an odd reaction, you can actually pinpoint which product you may be having problems with.

It is common for new pheromone users to give themselves what is fondly called around here, a _newbie phero-baptism_, which is spraying a lot of several products on and wondering what went wrong. I did it when I first started. It looks like you did, too.

So, go back and pick only one product. Test one spray one day, then two sprays on day two, then three sprays on day three, etc., until you see solid consistent hits. Try this amount for at least several consecutive days to make sure this is your sweet spot for that product. Then switch to the second product and use one spray the first day, two sprays the second, etc., until you see solid and consistent hits. Always follow this regimen with new products and you will do better, and if you have another bad experience, you will be better able to pinpoint what went wrong. This is the favorite method of just about everyone who is expert at using pheromones.

Once you get a good handle on your sweet spots for each product and a solid feel for what each one does for you, then you can start layering and testing out those combinations with more success.

I’ve heard of members getting shaky when they’re in a closed off space with their pheros and can’t run away from them.

I’ve also heard of people spraying too much on and getting what we call “ghosted” where people actually ignore you and are awkward around you.

When you say you washed the spots you applied to did you just wash that spot or did you take an actual shower?

I’ve never had this problem before that I can remember, but others here have and like diane said, it just comes down to testing out different dosages.

Try one product first so you get the dosage down and then once you use single products you can combine with 2 and 3.

I need to look through some of my old posts on my journal, who knows, maybe it happened to me too. But i’d definitely call it a ghost.
Maybe there was an OD of IS/a cause that generally makes people more intimidated.

Oh no, I wasn’t shaky/nervous the day of orientation. That was the next day when I had to come in and register for classes. That’s when I noticed the combo I used the day before was not working well for me.

I washed myself the night before to get rid of any of the products already on me, and then the next morning I reapplied it the same exact amount, same places.

No, it was not like that at all! I was also very focused on registering.
I wasn’t expecting to be the center of attention. However, I was upset because I didn’t even get a simple “hello” from the people I talked to the day before and as I described when I tried to initiate conversation people just kind of shrugged me off. Even though we were registering, everyone was talking to everyone else, just not me.

I will definitely keep this in mind.

Sorry if I wrote my original post in a confusing matter!

I put on the first set of sprays, and used the refresh sprays exactly as I had the day before.

I guess so. ☹
Even though I knew this, I was just so desperate to try and mix everything either way because I wanted the “perfect” results I had imagined and I wanted the effects of those combined, whether the combination would work for me or not.

Oddly enough I was outside when the shakiness happened, not in a closed off space at all.

That is pretty much how I felt!

While taking a shower I made sure to scrub those places very hard 😛

Yes, now I know I need to stop being impatient and really try to just test one at a time. I feel somewhat silly for not doing that.
