I’m posting this in the women’s forum, but it is really a question for everyone.

Do smokers have a decreased sensitivity to [pheromones](https://a314.com/)? I am just wondering because I’m not sure if my husband has reacted any differently to the products I have tried (IS/A, IS/B, mx274, mx134). He smokes. I don’t. I have read that smoking decreases tasting and olfactory abilities.

Hi xev 🙂

Here’s a link that might help.

> Do smokers have less of an effect from pheros than non smokers? Maybe because their noses are damaged or they have less of a sense of smell? I’d like to hear what smokers have to say about this.

You can also do a search as there are many threads about this subject. 😉

Hi there Xev,

It all depends I guess. My dad smokes and when I wear instant shine it has an effect on him. Just continue observing him while wearing it. 🙂

Yes it can, Smoking can swell the nasal passages and cause congestion making it harder for the molecules to reach there destination. You may ned to use more if your target is a smoker.
