You know.. when a bunch of girls are together (like in college) for a long time.. cycles usually sync up.. maybe due to [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/)? Would there be an affect on your cycle.. or fertility when using these chemicals? Just curious 🙂 ---

I personally have not noticed any effects on my menstrual cycle, but I _have_ noticed that my sex drive has increased exponentially. I’m not sure if this is something that everyone can/does experience or if it’s due to the fact that I have higher than normal testosterone levels and I’m reacting to the cops I wear on a daily basis. ---

Nothing with my cycle either, I cant comment on fertility but I know Jasmin who is exposed to pheromones all the time got preggers twice so it didnt effect her fertility. I have always had a high sex drive, but I to have noticed that certain products will increase that drive. My goal has been to increase my hubbys sex drive to match mine more. pheromones have helped as well as other little tricks I use but I do miss the 20 something years when his sex drive was increditable. Hmm interesting.. It would be nice to use pheromones to “match up” drives, so to speak.. as we are not very closely matched at all.. lol. I did a little internet digging on the subject and apparently there is one pheromone that lengthens a cycle and one that shortens a cycle… interesting anyways… Cant wait to experiment.. as i am a close fertility watcher.. not that im trying to get pregnant.. its just something i do. 😛 :bag: cause the pill/hormone and me dont mix. TMI.. i know. sorry. ---

This would be interesting to study, As far as I know, they will not affect your cycle as a whole, but they may bring on ovulation a few days earlier, (should you be in contact with a male, you body and mind choose as a good mate) Females are more likely to be promiscuous in the time just before they are fertile, this is thought to be because of our genetically programmed drive for genetic diversity. – Desmond Morris “Inside the Human Sexes” I believe he based this hypothesis on Birds and Apes that would select a mate for specific qualities as a mate, helpful around the house (building nest, good provider) then when they were fertile, select a better breeding mate. Along the same studies, they found that couples separated for more than 3 days (business travelers) tended to be more fertile upon their reunion. (there is one to ponder) ---

Interesting stuff you post there Woofie… Re: cycles.. i think there is a theory it is pheromones.. but the scientific community still has no consensus on [human pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/).. but there have been some interesting studies that show strong possibilities for them.. (as far as they are concerned). i should know.. im a bio teacher.. and i actually have to teach about pheromones to grade 12s… of course its in other animals mostly.. I always bring up the tshirt experiment, where women were more attracted to tshirts of men who were more geneticallly disimilar to them (unless, oddly enough they were on the pill.. then they were more attracted to those more similar) THe argument for this is hybrid vigor.. you want a mate to produce goodoffspring (as you stated in your post).. the theory goes.. if you are on the pill.. your body is mimicking pregnancy.. and thus at that time you seek family and those that are more genetically similar.. Makes you wonder about those couples who get together when she is on the pill and then what happens when she goes off.. :shock: This is all interesting stuff, and since im a fertility watcher I will see if anything is happening.. Just dont want to end up with a pheromone baby.. lol 😮 😛 ---

I have read the t-shirt experiment. also found the facial recognition program interesting, where they had people rate pictures 1-10, then pick their most likely mates. well.. this will probably get my pg..lol…😮 but i have been using NFP for 5 years… and have had 2 planned pregnancies.. and no unplanned ones… I am pretty careful.. the whole week before ovulation is a second backup method week,.. as well as the 4 days following.. but in anywho… Interesting story about your girlfriend.. and how she was more attracted to you when she was on the pill.. just kinda supports that there is a lot to personal body chemistry! ---
