Hi All,

I’ve always been one who likes to get deeper into a subject than the next guy. I don’t like to try to put anybody on the spot with questions, but I do have an inquisitive mind.

We all know there are the naturals when it comes to the opposite sex. I had a best friend in the past who was not attractive at all who could chat up a woman in almost any situation and end up in the sack with her.

The others are naturally awkward for whatever reason. They can be just inborn or as a result of childhood issues. There could be life events during adulthood (like I experienced), that would affect communication and intimacy with the opposite sex.

So… I am curious as to the experiences of those that have had an awkwardness around the opposite sex and have used the social mones (IO, IS, IH) over a period of time. Do they just mask the underlying emotional issues until they wear off, or do they actually help you with your social phobias so that even when you stop using them, you have developed the social skills naturally that you otherwise would have to use a spray for?

I would have to say both. I have coached a lot of socially phobic people and using mones can act as a band aid so that they can more easily approach others and socialize. The most direct way to cure a phobia is to actually face your fear. Once faced it becomes less scary and your more likely to participate in what caused your fear so you can say its therapeutic in a way as well.

As for developing social skills. [Pheromones](https://a314.com/) do not give you skills neither while wearing them or after. Its not there function. Experience gives you skills. Pheromones inspire you to have those experiences by making socialization easier and more productive and while they are doing that your learning a skill.
