# Some Days Better Than Others (hits)

So I’ve come across this issue recently.

First of all, let me say that I usually wear [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) one to two times per week (usually one). I’m 23. One day, I can spray something like 3 IG, 2 IO, 1 IS, 1-2 P75 to go, and sometimes 1 ammo all on my neck. I’ll get some great hits and results. I can wear this same combo another time and I won’t get as many hits as I want. Why is this? Do I need to not shower and leave my skin oily? I don’t think sweet spot testing would help me here. Do I need to start wearing lotion? What should I do?😕

Maybe. Have you kept notes about whether or not it coincides with showering or not? I have fairly dry skin and some days I feel like I just soak up the pheros. I started using lotion before applying, letting it dry down for about fifteen minutes. Same approach for my DIY fragrance oils (in a different spot of course, don’t want to skew my diffusion results).

This is perfectly normal to how mones work. There are many different variables that occur in a real life setting that work with your synthetic mones and just can not be controlled so some days wearing the same mix you will get great hits and some days you will get hits but not as many as the day before.

Our natural output fluctuates during the day.

Our environment changes daily

The people exposed change

The weather changes

The state of mind of those exposed changes from day to day.

Its just not going to be the exact same every day and thats not what your looking for really in determioning if you mix or product is working for you. Just look for more hits then without the mix at all.
