a small [discussion](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/checking-forum-with-ie-mobile/8120) about problems with the forums in Windows Mobile. Seems that Internet Explorer 8 has the same problems, the red crawl to be specific. 😮

I hope they fix it before you get it.

hey feel free to direct any questions reguarding Windows mobile 5 or 6 to me. I am a data specialist/manager in the wireless industry. I know mobile operating systems like the back of my hand 🙂

note: blackberry (RIM) software as well, along with Nokia (symbian).

Thanks, it’s the latest (future) versions of Internet Explorer that’s the problem. The site works perfectly in Firefox 3 😃

Yea, but at least the release version of I.E. 8 is supposed to conform to web standards, as most other browser do.

Running a webdesign company, I hate having to make comprimises and hacks so that a website will look the same or close in different versions of I.E., and other browsers.

We are talking Micro$oft here, they live by their own “standards”.🙄

Yep! According to [Browser Statistics](http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) They still have over 50% of the browser market, but Firefox is closing in.

As for Safari, you are right. I have found that tableles CSS driven sites are best, but even so, different browsers can interpret Div tags differently and the layout doesn’t always look the same. I have had a couple of cases where no matter what we did, a div tag just wouldn’t work, and we had to throw in a table or two, to get the page to look right.
