Well, i know that the income tax (the illegal one private people pay on theire labour) is primarily used to pay off the national debt to the federal reserve (central bank that prints the us$)  
Road, smoke, gas taxes and such are used to pay whatever they are paid for. roads pay new roads and repair of old ones etc.

i cant remember what the corporate taxes amassed to, but it could quite possibly be them that help finance the war, though its still not enough money.

Btw, the only presidential candidate that A) has a chance of wining and B) will defenetly do somthing about the current crisis (and C) hasnt gone into debt to pay for his campaign) is Dr No (he has a record of having voted no, to each and every unconstitutional (cant remember the word for it, but for everything they vote for in congress) since he first joined congress) aka Ron Paul.
