Today I met with a few students to discuss their semester projects. Hoping to loosen them up a bit, I donned a single blast of Spaceland, a dab of A314 and sat in my small office. Massive blunder. I suffered the most intense onslaught of verbal diarrhea imaginable. Pure BS hurling at my ears at the speed of light for 2 hours. I thought the crap would never wear off. Kinda like an unwanted acid trip and no way to come down. Now I’ve worn this combo many times in the classroom to excellent effect. But the tiny confines of my office magnified the effects ad nauseam. I won’t tread this path again. ---

LOL, I have not worn spaceland in a few months, I really cannot get past that smell to put it on again ---

Yeah, I hate the hippie ass EO they use in it. I think it’s clary sage. Might as well be patchouli! But it dies down after a bit and can be covered with a moderately strong cologne. I never wanna hear anyone’s damn life story again! However I typically dilute it 4:1 with cologne but decided on a foolish whim to wear it full strength. Diluted 4:1 with cologne it behaves like a typical dose of [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) or Scent of Eros. I use Spaceland because it’s the cheapest quality alpha androstenol money can buy. I’d rather have the unscented experimone version but a 50mcg dose is nearly twice as much. ---

LOL. That is my general take on IO at more than 1-2 sprays. Too much conversation. Gegogi - maybe we are just becoming “grumpy old men” … lol. ---

Yes, sometimes conversation can be too much of a good thing. Clary sage is one of my favorite EOs. It really can intoxicate one - I’ll dump a bunch into a hot tub (without the bubbler) when I’m with a close friend. Sometimes I’ll just open the bottle and huff it. One possible downside is that clary sage EO is reputed to contain lots of phytoestrogens Spaceland sure seems to reek of clary sage. I’ve used it twice so far. The first time was a self-dose test. The second time was at a retirement party - three sprays to the hair and a little [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) to the throat. Everyone was having a great time anyway but I was very well received and respected. Lots of chatter but that’s what we were there for. Frankly, it wasn’t a good test but it certainly didn’t detract from the event. My Openness and Honesty are on their way to me, along with a MX292. ---

Spaceland is always fun in my opinion, but I only use it in select oportunities and larger events. I definitely can see it either making me incredibly spacey or way too talkative in a small setting. I wore it to a movie once and did not shut up! After that, I learned my lesson. ---

If you use alpha nol regularly you’ll grow accustom to the effects and learn to “control” yourself. I’m pretty much immune to Spaceland although it certainly works great on my students and colleagues! In low doses reactions are the same as wearing SOE or IO. I transferred a small amount to a Sephora atomizer as the spray head volume is much less. The stock bottle output is way too much… ---

Phytoestrogens are plant chemicals that mimic the actions or structure of estrogens in humans/mammals. The classic case is clover. The phytoestrogens in clover act to reduce bull fertility hence fighting back against animal predators that eat clover. A number of herbs are used by women as estrogen substitutes. I won’t suggest eating clary sage but in hot tub water it does act topically and makes for smoother skin. Can’t tell the exact ingredients in Spaceland but it sure smells like there is a lot of clary sage in it. Smelling it makes me spacey so there’s a functional link. For about the first four months after I got A314 my standard morning ‘to-work’ application was a drop or two of A314 and a spray or two of Spaceland. (I had the whitecap unscented version.) In wide-open spaces, as you’ve said, it’s a good combo. Even those who are habitually reticent eventually open up. But there’s a lot of threshing to do to separate the wheat from the chaff. Mountains of chaff, I say! Mountains! lol.. ---

Lordy, ah hates the scent of Clary Sage! Smells like hippies, headshops and new age witch supplies! Gives me nightmares of Haight-Ashbury, LSD and bushy crotch women. Nevertheless I just grin, bear and cover this funky joy juice with Burberry Weekend. Doesn’t completely kill the funk but at least I smell more like a metro male than a friggen earth daddy! ---

Hey! Haight-Asbury is STILL a great place! I love going there to shop and have dinner. OK, still a lot of wannabe hippies (and street bums) but it’s got color and life. I go there maybe once a month and spend the evening. Different strokes, I guess, especially with “bushy crotch women!” I’ll grant you that clary sage is everyone’s cup of tea. Do you have a favorite EO? ---

I had a look at the EOs in a pharmacy a while back and the clary sage was being particularly targeted at women as regards any possible effects. But yeah, I just sprayed on some Spaceland actually. Phew, the stuff does indeed stink! Well, off out to see if people comment on it 🙂 ---

I think IFM is unscented (other than the mone funk of course). Why? I believe Erox, the makers of Realm, have a patent on use of A1 with scent. Too bad their products are too watered down to do jack… ---

Clary Sage, for those still wondering, smells like a mixture of 2 parts tea, 4 parts catnip, and maybe .5 parts (or less) of cannabis. The concentration of it in Spaceland is STRONG and for me, it’s hard to deal with. I tried covering it with Issey Intense, but the trainwreck of aromas that resulted made me want to gag. I really want to get the most out of Spaceland, but right now, my cobalt blue spray bottle sits over 3/4 full in my box of potions. Maybe if I ever get invited to a bong party… hmmm… -D4 ---

Data, you might consider diluting Spaceland… It’s about 4 times stronger than needed as a social lubricant. I’ve tried a couple small batches cut at 4:1. Worked well as long as the cologne is fairly dominant. Not so good with light citrus scents but it will hide reasonably well behind a winter colognes with a lot of spice and wood notes.
