I mentioned the Magic Makers, a special needs band, in [yesterday’s post](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/specialisterne-leveraging-the-unique-skills-of-autistics-at-competitive-market-terms/50245/203). Another member of the Magic Makers who is on the Autism Spectrum is 21-year-old drummer, Chi-Ling Wu. Chi-Ling grew up with two older sisters who helped his loving parents raise him. He is also involved with Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN), a nonprofit formed in 1996 by ten Chinese-American families… > [@](#): > > …This performance also allowed Chi-Ling to let other children realize that sometimes special needs children have amazing talents. Chi-Ling’s talents are in the realm of music. He performed two perfect songs on the cello, sang a song in perfect pitch, all without being able to read notes, let alone carry a conversation. His finale on the piano was great performance as ten little fingers danced across the keyboard. No errors, no notes, no change in rhythm, nothing but music to the hundred normal children that gave him an ovation as if he were performing in Carnegie Hall.
