The subject of [yesterday’s post](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/specialisterne-leveraging-the-unique-skills-of-autistics-at-competitive-market-terms/50245/205) was Lawrence Wang, a musician with an Autism Spectrum Disorder… > [@](#): > > …In between sets, you might notice that Wang is autistic. He didn’t really want to answer questions about his musical talents. Instead, he slouched over a video game and kept asking his mother if they’d be back in the car by 4 p.m. after the show, as she had promised. > “He likes things a certain way every day,” Anna Wang said. “These performances mess up his schedule.”… Indeed you can see Lawrence briefly looking at his watch, around the one minute mark, as he is playing the saxophone in the following clip: [I Just Call to Say I Love You - YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm5jqRgkgOI) Individuals with Autism often have challenges related to [rigid adherence to rules and routines where flexibility is desirable](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/agricultural-specialisterne-rural-employment-revolution-for-those-with-autism/50615/310). It certainly does not detract from a magnificent performance from Lawrence and the Dream Achievers Music Ensemble in the above link.🙂 (source: [The Charger Bulletin Autistic Musicians Play with Perfect Pitch; Gigs in San Jose, Santa Clara](http://www.chargerbulletin.com/2010/03/10/autistic-musicians-play-with-perfect-pitch-gigs-in-san-jose-santa-clara/)) --- _[View the full topic](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/specialisterne-leveraging-the-unique-skills-of-autistics-at-competitive-market-terms/50245)._
