Another thing i have been wondering is that i feel like there are more users of oil based mones than sprays. Is the oil based ones stronger and do they last longer? basically do they work better than [spray pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/spray-pheromones/)?

No easy answer for this one - It all depends on your situations and environment really. Oil is better in some situations, alcohol in others.

Oils are generally stronger - from what I’ve read they can be between six and twenty times stronger depending on phero. Not for ultimate impact/effect but because they diffuse more slowly and evenly over a longer time, so they need more in the mix to begin with. This also makes them far less effective in colder conditions but far more usable in very hot conditions where you need to take extera steps to slow the diffusion of sprays.

Typical life of an oil application is six to eight hours, fairly easily extened to ten hours by application over lotion. This compares to about six hours maximum for any spray (some are far less, eg IS) - This is one of the biggest advantages of A314 oil over the spray. A single workday application lasts all day at a typical workday dose makes the oil far more economic. The slower diffusion of oil also makes for a more subtle/natural amalgam with your own phero signature.

However in other situations, you want the most impact/effect in the shortest possible time - meeting people/clubs/dating etc, sprays generally have the advantage over oils. However if you are going to be in close proximity to someone for a long period eg a long drive, small room and the like, oils again have a “slowburn” quality that is hard to beat. 🙂

I prefer oils. Sprays sometimes infuse reactions that are so blatant that it makes me a bit uneasy. Like a feeling that people just have to sense there’s something not right about me. This can be fun but sometimes it feels like someone’s bound to figure out there’s some kind of voodoo going on here.
Oils are more mellow and last long. Still hoping that AD will create something besides A314.
I still like having stuff like [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) on my shelf. Like Mobo said, if one needs to make an impact in a very short time span the sprays are more effective.

I’ll also say that I quite like oils for more overt none - They still hit strongly in the right situations (and dose) but they don’t hit so hard/harshly as to cause instant ghosting/drawback etc.

So I’ll often use an amount of oil behind a lower dose of alcohol-base spray in order to get the scent and effects of the moderating/balancing components but with the longer lasting and building effects of the oil as well. This needs seperate application points of course.

One I’ve been doing it quite a bit with recently is [Summer Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). One or two sprays of that alongside a drop or two of Alpha7 or Alter Ego has been giving me very nice results indeed. Especially as the P130/nols/TAA in the Summer Ammo are more present and effective moderators.

And I’ve posted before of the “Can you find a place to pull-over and do-things to me - SOON please!” or “how about we stop and have some fun!” responses I’ve had with AE and willing women on longer car trips! 😃
