He was the sitarist who played for George Harrison and did much to bring Indian music to the West in the '70s. How about Nora Jones - a name you might be more familiar with? That is a George Harrison song with Eric Clapton playing the guitar. One of Harrisonā€™s wives (Pattie Boyd) divorced him and married Clapton. Harrison played guitar at the wedding. HE and Clapton actually remained friends and supposedly refered to themselves as ā€œhusbands in-lawā€ as the story goes. Clapton had actually fallen in love with Pattie well before she divorced Harrison and even recorded a song ā€œLaylaā€ about his love for her. That song was a big hit in itself. You may have thought he was in the Beatles if you caught parts of ā€œThe Concert for Bangladesh.ā€ Allthough Dylanā€™s music was folk/rock it has been covered by a lot of musicians. Check out ā€œAll Along the Watchtowerā€ by Jimi Hendrix and by U2 if it is on YouTube. ---
