I’ve been thinking that maybe a template for field reports should be created. It would definately make reading the reports easier and provide all the information required without having to have people post asking about them.

Also, I’ve tried reading a few field reports and sometimes even though all the information is there, it can be hidden within the text of the report making it harder to digest the information.

I was thinking of something along the lines of:

One liner: Summing up the report
E.g. : [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) made my date strip naked in a bar

Applied pheros, number of sprays and dosages for non standard products:
Ammo - 2 Sprays
P79 - 1 Spray (10mcg)

Application points:
Ammo - Neck, Chest
P79 - Testicles

Time of initial application (and if possible time passed to first hit or report event):
10am, time of report 2pm.

_This will help gauge how long some pheros take to work and how long they seem effective for._

Report:
Field report etc.

These are just my thoughts, I think its easier to anaylse the results if we have the information presented in this way. And it should help others when they want to try similar applications or wish to experiment with some of the key ingredients in the mix.

Also, you could include whether it was a Mix (all the ingredients put into a bottle) or a combo (sprayed individually). If it is a mix, details on ratios, order of creation could be included. And if there are any special processes you did:

Special Process:
Left the mix to settle overnight before warming up for several hours before application.

Any thoughts on other information to be added would be great. I’m thinking of using this template, namely because its the template I use in my log 😛

I think a template could work at least just for dosage and products and then leave a huge section at the bottom for the persons story. I think that they way they describe what happened is just as valuable as all the other info and makes it more personal.

OK this is going be kinda hard to explain but I will try.

When you read a report you get a glimpse of the persons interests and personality. This makes for a big difference in how certain [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) work on certain people. While age, sex and race do contribute to a extent its a persons personality that to me matters most.

Example…

When I first started out with EOW I could not get it to work like the other girls for the life of me. One person who I am simular to in many ways including personality helped me out and that made all the difference. (Thank you Dolly 😉 ) I used it as she directed and sure enough it worked for me.

Or look at tacitus reports. He is very artistic and sort of regal in my opinion. His reports are fabulous and colorful and all him. Products may work different for him because he feels them in a different way because of his personality. Now for someone who is simular in personality to him like say Fra septimus the products will relate to them in the same fashion.

This is why I dont think it should be a total template but more of a guideline with plenty of room for that persons personality to shine though.

The truth is and I learned this from Mharris and Jas. There is no text book anwser to each persons experiences or failures with pheromones. You have to consider each person and look beyond the words they right to what they are really saying and what they are like. This is why we push for more personal info in the intro posts so we can match people up with products by who they are not just what they want from a pheromone.

Thats a good point Tisha, I guess formalising it does take out the personal aspect which can majorly influence the effects of the pheros.

By the way, when I say template, I dont mean a form you fill in, I meant a set way of posting. Posters may or may not want to write their reports in the way I described but the factual stuff (mainly about the pheros, dosages and application points) could help out others. Like you said yourself, more of a guideline than anything else.

When I say field report, it should include the background info (such as that persons story, interests etc). I didnt mean, they should produce a military style report with concise facts or anything 😛 Cos, lets be honest that would be kinda boring to read, and it really would take away peoples personal style of writing.

Thanks for the feedback 🙂

I’ve noticed that my reports usually follow a pattern similar to an episode of Star Trek. I open with a teaser paragraph, (like the first 5 minute teaser in the show), list my used pheros (Cue themesong and opening credits!), and then write out my narrative (rest of the show).

Maybe for testing the MX/PXX products, a template for information that would be found on most reports would be useful, but for tried and true products, it’s much more enjoyable to read it as the poster writes it. It’s fun to, for example, get caught up in the excitement someone else displays after rushing home from an amazing mone experience and immediately writing about it.

Just my twopence.

Personally I prefer the expository approach to hit reports rather than cold 'n standardized short answer forms. But Rattle sounds like you may have the makings of a good bureaucrat! Seriously, most of us don’t keep perfect track of mix ratios, dosage or application points. I’d have to lie half the time.

True, I guess we may have to though at least with the advanced stuff.

Hi thanks for the replies guys 😃

I agree with that fact it will take out alot of the excitement from peoples reports but, hey, was just an idea 🙂

A bureaucrat!!!?!?!? How dare you! 😛

For mixes I tend to keep accurate records (in case I want to repeat the experience) but for general purposes I just spray and go. So I understand the point about making stuff up half the time. And this would only negatively influence experimentation…unless of course you were evil and decided to report a great hit with a mix you were too scared to use yourself…in which case you could have a whole forum of newbies being your naive guiney pigs 😃

For mixes I usually post the info in the same way every time.
But I wouldn’t like to be asked to be put in a straightjacket format, I’d like to be free to use my format.
