Alright it’s starting to warm up a bit here in NC, and so far I’ve been wearing MX135 when it’s cold and I don’t sweat, so it stays a nice mild chocolate fragrance. It was really warm today and I started to sweat a bit, and all of a sudden I started to smell a little B.O. and I looked around…and realized it was me!😮 I smelled like sweaty chocolate ☹ Now I took a shower before I applied my pheros and put on deodorant, and it was in the areas where I applied the MX135. I tried putting Pink Sugar over it to mellow it out, but it didn’t help. I’ve never smelt strong B.O. on me before, I didn’t get any funny looks that seemed like people thought I stunk or anything, I might have to put my mx135 away for now…nooooo!!

Your probably smelling the mones. As it gets warmer you will notice them more because your consious of them but no one else will. You will also notice they will diffuse better and hits will increase. Try using a cover that blends with it.

Or, you could also spray it on your hair or clothing…thats what I do, because I live in Louisiana…otherwise, they diffuse so quickly in this heat and humidity that I can burn through a bottle like wildfire…

Thanks for the advice everyone, I was freaking out thinking everyone could smell it too, but it didn’t seem so. I guess it is just me.

Alright I tried Mx135 again, and it’s getting warmer so my body is heating up even more. Mx135 did well in the colder weather, but the warmer it gets the scent seems to keep getting “bigger” on me. I guess I’ll just have to wait till it’s customizable to get a lighter scent for summer, ah well, I’m a patient person.

I have a question about this scent also.

Many people mix MX135 with other [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/)-scented products. That sounds like it would smell horrible! I have read that there are only certain covers for Chocolatini such as vanilla or some other food.

How does that mesh with the Neroli scent? Does one overpower the other?

Pee Yew.

I find it best to put on the neroli scented products on first, after it dries down it’s easily covered because it leaves behind such a light scent, and chocolatini covers just about anything, that would be the stronger scent. I tried to put pink sugar over mx135 since I read one of Tisha’s posts saying it softens the chocolatini scent, it did for a while but the chocolatini just came right through the pink sugar scent, I must have gotten a really strong batch or something.

Not that I’m complaining, I love chocolatini, but sometimes I’m not in the mood for it and want to be able to cover it with whatever I want.

Sometimes I detect a burnt note with my chocolatini. Is this normal?

And neroli lasts forever on me, so I don’t think chocolatini blends particularly well with it. But friends don’t smell neroli at all on me, all they smell is the chocolates.

Hey -What about using pumpkin with the Chocolatini? I hear men LOVE the smell of pumpkin, and it goes with chocolate. They have different pumpkin scents at MMU like pumpkin pie, pumpkin crunch cake, and pumpkin pie cheesecake.

Also, apparently men love the smell of doughnuts. I think someone mentioned that recently. Chocolate doughnuts. Hmmm.

Just a thought.

I’ve noticed the chocolatini is much stronger than my first uses of it. In my case I thought it was from switching up to full size bottles compared to the mx135 to-goes, not so much burnt as it just doesn’t seem as sweet as it used to be.

My chocolatini customized lust after me and instant openness scent matches the mx135 perfectly, it will take some getting used to once I am wearing [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) again. I’ve been sick with flu & bronchitis and haven’t had a day that I feel well enough to use my new stuffs yet. I’m hoping aging the bottles some will have it smelling more like what I remember.

Well, apparently Pink Sugar and Chocolatini can mimic the chocolate doughnuts effect. Heh, give it a try. I don’t know if there’s a specific donut perfume though..

My chocolatini comes from [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) customized. The burnt note comes and goes, so I’m wondering whether I can minimize this effect?

I’m not sure about minimizing. A burnt note is not something I detect. I might try sweetening it up with a vanilla scent if I can’t get used to it myself.

You can tell I’m new at this stuff. Of course that makes perfect sense.

I knew I spelled donuts wrong…

BTW anyone - Love Potion has some new sugared scents. Two that caught my eye were Sugared French Vanilla and Sugared Pumpkins.

… which begs the question, is it donuts or doughnuts?

I have no idea. English is my second (or third) language.

According to Wikipedia you’re both right! While doughnut is the traditional spelling, both are regularly used; as in the popular store “Dunkin Donuts”. 🙂

I’m one of the few who really doesn’t like the chocolatini scent, very diffusive but overwhelming and a toughy to cover. It doesn’t mix well with most scents, except foody. After it’s been on a while, thank God, the chocolatini seems to settle down a bit. Pink Sugar covers it, but then Pink Sugar can cover the smell of toxic waste! Unfortunately, I’m just not a Pink Sugar gal…☹

I use LP Sugared Vanilla Bean to cover the chocolatini in MX135. It doesn’t _exactly_ cover it, but smooths it out somewhat. I’ve also tried covering it with LP Sugared Mint…it was OK, but not as peppermint patty as I hoped. 🙄 FYI the Sugared Mint, all by itself, has an uplifting quality… even kinda speedy!

I’m with Bella and don’t care for the scent of the chocolatini. I usually like the really sweet, food scents and love Pink Sugar on me, but I have a hard time using mx135 since I don’t really like the scent on me. I don’t know if it’s just too strong or I’m used to the neroli, but I’m not a big fan of it. However, I always get a lot of compliments about smelling good when I wear it, so I guess those around me like it. 🙂
