Hi folks,
Does anyone know the best way to keep the potency of [pheromones](https://a314.com/)?
I heard that heat and direct sunlight are no-nos but what about putting them in a fridge? Certain product that contains oxytocin (e.g Liquid Trust) will lose their potency real fast if it’s not stored in a cool place/fridge.
Anyone has any thoughts/came across any posts on it for AD products?

The thing is I wanted to try out different mixes and with AD sometimes out of stock of the products I wanted, I tend to just stock them up when they become available…but then if they lose their potency before I got the chance to play with them I won’t be learning much.

Only Liquid Trust claims to have oxytocin and that it needs to be refrigerated.

Oxytocin is very volatile and doesn’t work well as a pheromone. It only has a life span of 3 minutes or so airborne. Its a heavy molecule. You need a massive dose sprayed directly into the nasal cavity so it dosent signal others like most other pheromone do. Its not a pheromone its a hormone. It acts only inside the body. Pheromones are hormones that act outside the body.

This is not to say that someday science wont someday figure out how to suspend it so it can act as a pheromone but IMO it has not been done yet.

Pheromones wont lose there potency as long as you keep them sealed in a cool dark place. You dont have to refrigerate them.
