Have any of you watched the TV show Boston Legal? Jerry, one of the lawyers was being sued for sexual assault for using some sort of spray chemical that you apply like cologne and helps make others feel comfortable 😮 Sounds like [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) too me. Of course it is just a TV show, but you never know.

Hello CK53,
first al all, let me say that I never seen that serial, but the thing that you described is what many people think as Pheros. It’s very RARE that you spray Pheros and you’ll be assaulted by horny ladies, just for the Pheros. Pheros only enhance what you really are, so they are just a boost to get what you’re looking for. Anyway, if used well, Pheros can be really useful. I suggest you to read a thread by Tisha “What pheros do and don’t do for you”, as I found it very useful. Anyway, if you want to achieve some results with Pheros, just ask, we’ll be happy to help.

See ya

That is the thing. All of us, or at least most of us that have been using pheros and have read and learned from this site or other sites like it know how it works. What it can and can’t do. There are still a lot of people out there that think it is some sort of magic potion. Now, I’m not saying that people will actually sue someone if they find out, but given todays sue happy society, you never know if people may try and sue.

You’re right. Here we know how it works, because we were all willing to know the truth about Pheros. We seen that they work and in which way. I don’t think that it’s a real problem tht some people doesn’t know how it works. They can be skeptic that don’t know what they miss ;-), and people that believe that Pheros may give you the “Axe effect” with women running to you and ripping off the clothes from you :-). It’s good for Androtics as it’s a good commercial, and it’s fun for us, as we know how we can use real Pheros to get real results :-).

Pheromones enhance the do not change or make people go against feel will therefore no one would win a suit if they filed one. People can try to sue for any reason in life. People have sued Famous amos because they dont like the taste of there cookies but it dosnt go anywhere because its stupid.
As pheromones get popular I suppose we will see more on TV shows about them. The gilroy from Oceans and the 20/20 specials. I wouldnt worry about it they lable it as a fad o ,ost people dont believe in them..

I don’t think it would ever stand up in court. The majority of the scientific community still insists that pheromones have no sexual effects on humans. All one needs to do is demonstrate this by callin in a couple research authorities on the subject to testify that pheros are complete urban myth (even though we know they are not).

The end result would be that they are basically suing you because your cologne smelled so good that it coerced them to do something they otherwise would not have.

This was previously discussed. Here is the thread: [What happens if pheromone use takes off and they get restricted or made illegal?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/i-am-very-scared/7875).

This is what started the talk of lawsuits:

> [@What happens if pheromone use takes off and they get restricted or made illegal?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/what-happens-if-pheromone-use-takes-off-and-they-get-restricted-or-made-illegal/7875/3):

> So - at a certain point maybe either scenario could come true. Pheros being controlled by law and/or like medicine, or maybe they become effective and well-known enough everyone starts using them. Not too wild an idea in my book.

And my initial response:

> [@What happens if pheromone use takes off and they get restricted or made illegal?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/what-happens-if-pheromone-use-takes-off-and-they-get-restricted-or-made-illegal/7875/9):

> Well, I am not an attorney, but I think there is a huge difference between wearing pheromones and pouring a mind altering pharmaceutical in somebody’s drink. As far as being sued over the use of pheromones, I think any such case could be ripped to shreds!
>
> Let me get this right Mr/Mrs plaintiff - You’re claiming that my client wore some sort of cologne or pheromone that helped you make a conscious decision to have sex with him/her, is that correct? So, you already wanted to have sex with him/her, but weren’t entirely sure that was the right thing to do and you’re claiming that my client wore some sort of unproven voodoo chemical that induced you to make a conscious decision to copulate, is that about right? So Mr/Mrs plaintiff, just so I understand this correctly, are you saying that you were somehow hypnotized or mesmerized into engaging in sexual acts that you otherwise would not have? No more questions! Your Honor/Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury, this matter would actually be funny if my client weren’t on trial. The plaintiff would have you believe that my client wore a cologne and that once the plaintiff got a smell of it, he/she was forced to engage in acts of sex with my client. This plaintiff is asking you to rule that their lack of moral character and poor judgment was a result of a smell, and that my client should be held liable. The plaintiff is asking you to believe that my clients cologne had the ability to remove his/her free will and forced him/her to do something that he/she didn’t want to do. Not only is this allegation absolutely ludicrous, but if there was a shred of truth to it, then the matter should have been brought as a criminal complaint, because it’s almost sounding as if they are alleging rape. Imagine that? a cologne that can eliminate free will. You cannot in good conscience believe that this plaintiff’s poor judgment and lack of morals are the fault of my client!
>
> Pheromones are not pharmaceutical products, and probably never could be regulated as pharmaceuticals, as they are not mind altering and have no medicinal benefit.

I wonder how the push from Erox and Dr. Dodd towards promoting pheromones for pharmaceutical use would affect people’s perception. It will definitely make pheromones appear more legit but also more powerful (“mind-altering”).

I know of Erox Realm line and Dr. Dodd’s pherofragrance and Pheromol Factor products, but have not followed anything they are doing.

I could maybe see something like Androstadienone being proven to possess a medicinal value and being able to pass the FDA regulatory requirements and clinical trials required of pharmacueticals, but also think that if they looked closely at the FDA’s process and what is required for new a pharmacuetical to make it to market, they would quickly back down.

Ok, for those of you that don’t watch the show, here’s the basis behind the lawsuit.

Jerry (the character being sued) used Pheros to raise his self-confidence and make communication easier. Something like an Instant Shine / [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/) mix on himself. The girl he was on a date with is suing on the basis that the product he used acted as a drug that made talking to him easier and therefore changed her personality and the way she would normally have reacted towards him (Jerry has Asperger’s syndrome which can make socialising … awkward.)

They don’t say that it made her jump on him and rip off his clothes or anything like that. Just that it altered her normal state of mind.

There was an old Star Trek episode that had a race of females with such powerful pheromones all males–even humans–were subject to total and absolute control. Of course there are nature shows on the Discover Channel that show insects lured to their death by plants and other insects that mimic [sex pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/sensual-pheromones/). These sorts of influences have shaped public perception of pheromones. I actually thought women would fall from the ceiling on me and be my love slaves. Oddly, I met a couple nymphos right off the bat when I started wearing pheromones, so I thought I’d be swimming in poon forever. If only the reality was more like TV…

i got into an arguement with a former friend last night on this. He heard part of what he thought was a news story, but was really a advertisement for a TV show. He claims the use of such is “brain washing”. He refused to do any research for himself on it. He’s never used them. He was just looking for a fight because he can’ get a date and I can. I’ve always used them give me that little extra “edge” in a relationship. I never had the idea it would make me somehing I wasn’t. Even if it could do that, you could never live up to something that wasn’t you.

I know somebody like that! You cannot argue with him because what he believes to be true in his warped sense of reality is his gospel, and even if you prove him wrong, he still refuses to see things as they really are.

Just a couple of examples: He believes that George Bush is one of the most popular presidents ever, that our economy is NOT in trouble, and that CNN and the AP are not trustworthy news sources and claims the only news source you can trust is Fox News.

Best to just shake your head when people like that talk, and ignore them!

Actually, he believes just the opposite. \>😉 He’s never had a date in so many years I can’t remember due to his personality. I’ve dated without a problem. I’ve only used pheromones on two occasions – now and about 7 years ago when I first got into them. He, like a lot of other people, just don’t get that it takes personality as a foundation to get a date and all the pheromones do is “enhance” what you already have. When I told him that that, he went off on how that extra edge, or enhancement, was brain washing. Obviously he doesn’t know what the term means. I dropped the conversation as well as him. No one needs that in their lives.
