# TAA oil vs Instant Shine: what are the effects, and can it still be ordered?

I have been considering picking up some of this as soon as I get a price worked up by Steve or the store. I was first turned on to this in Idle’s diary and from what I can tell it is like a less intense but but longer lasting product whose closest relative would be [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/).

Who all has used it and what were the self effects along with the social effects? I am really wanting to try it but don’t know if I would be better off sticking to the IS or if the oil would be better for me since I don’t care for constant reapplications. And what mcg do you recommend? Idle always mentions the 20mcg oil. Is that all there is or do you select the dosage when you order?

well as far as I can tell the store no longer carries the taa oil, but if it turns out I am incorrect it would come in just 1 strength as with their other oil products. It would not be like the experimone series where you choose strength, size, and scent.

but from all the research I have done on here the ones that have tried it find that it does not work nearly as well as shine. not sure exactly why that is, but that seems to the general consensus.

Yeah, I saw where it was not being sold anymore but Idle and Tisha ( I believe it was Tish, in another thread) made it sound like it could still be requested through the store.

I went through a bottle of TAA oil and greatly prefer TAA spray. Why? The spray has immediate effects whereas the TAA oil is extremely subtle (a nice way of saying it doesn’t do much). I suspect the oil retards the effect too much.
