# TED talk on body language

For those of you who are not familiar with the tedtalks series, it is a traveling lecture series given by people who are at the top of their field. In one of their newer series call Life Hack a social psychologist Amy Cuddy gave a very interesting and insightful lecture on body language and its affects on personal success in addition to body chemistry.

In the end her most important point was if you want to become something you are not all you need to do is **Fake it until you become it.**

I highly recommend this lecture to everyone on this forum, the points made in it are very useful and valuable when trying to influence people.

O sorry should have included that in the first post you can find all the Ted videos on [TED: Ideas worth spreading](http://www.ted.com), they should also all be on YouTube and the specific video I was talking about is even on Netflix under TedTalks; Life Hacks it is episode one of the series and is titled Amy Cuddy: Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are.
