**Hello PheroTalk Community!**

True to form, I’m new here and looking to introduce myself in a super fashion in order to receive a $25.00 gift certificate towards more of these amazing things we call pheromones. I’m a fan, should that not have come across.

My name is Kage (nickname). I am a female, which I feel needs to be said since my name tends to imply otherwise (but really, it’s a small requirement of the forum). I was born and raised in the Midwest where I still live. I like the four seasons that the west coast tends not to fully provide.

On to why I am here and my story:

_I stumbled across this forum when I was in a deep panic when I learned that my usual pheromone was seemingly discontinued. I’m not sure exactly how I learned about pheromones, but I did…a lot of years ago. I actually purchased a small silver rollerball of perfume from a well known lingerie store (Victoria’s Secret, heard of it?) that claimed to have pheromones that would make the opposite sex much more attracted to you. Goes without saying, I didn’t hesitate to grab it and run to the checkout as fast as my teenage legs would carry me._

_That evening, I tested the popular store’s claim by rolling on a generous amount before a large house party. I actually forgot that I had it on for a while until I began to notice how much fun I was having…mainly because I was getting SO much attention. It worked. I can’t say if I felt more confidence and that alone caused the attention or if the product had actual pheromones in it, but all I know with this hindsight, is that I was sold._

_Afterwards, the store stopped selling the product. Yep, I was devastated. Then, I forgot about it quite frankly because this was before internet searches directed you to any need possible. But then, years later, I remembered that little silver tube of confidence and decided I wanted to check out if products including pheromones existed. To my relief, they did. I actually researched a lot and found that many products will claim to have pheromones, but actually will not. Big surprise that someone would falsely advertise on the internet for their own profitable gain. Ha!_

_After much research, I located a product with what seemed like credible endorsements and claims. I obviously knew how easily that could be staged, but I decided I needed to start somewhere. The [pheromone cologne](https://a314.com/shop/) website was, as most are catered towards the man, but they had a section for a woman’s pheromone perfume, so I purchased it just to test it out._

_The perfume was not too offensive in smell and even had a light perfumy smell that could be easily paired with my usual perfume. Long story short, I got attention. Lots. And respect from women around me. Sold, sold, and sold…again. I continued to purchase the product and even got on an auto ship of three bottles at a time until recently. I went back a month or so ago to discover that they had seemingly discontinued the women’s perfume!! They only sold the men’s. And here enters my panic. I relied on that stuff to affect the people around me. Wrong? Not at all, it’s science and primal and in my book perfectly acceptable._

_Panic all set in I began Googling like a mad woman to find the above mentioned product (I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel if the product was working for me) and found a thread on PheroTalk describing these different types of pheromones._

I am now fascinated with the fact that pheromones come in all different forms. I continue to be fascinated by this as I learn more from this site. I’m new to the experimentation and won’t fully attempt just yet until I’ve spent many more hours on this site. I’m currently satisfied with the idea that there are not only “sexy” pheromones, but many more including happy (shine)! Super! You can customize a reaction and I can’t imagine something more fun 🙂

There it is. I’m one month (possibly less) into this pheromone ‘testing.’ I have so many questions but mainly I’m concerned (and have actually wondered this for over a year now) about over usage.

- **My question is: Since there are so many different pheromone types you can purchase (Sexy A, Sexy B, Shine, etc.) is it possible or even probable that you can overuse (i.e., overspray yourself or use too much) and become the opposite of the intended reaction?**

- _**To be more clear, if you were to DOUSE yourself (why would you but for examples sake) in Sexiness, would you then become offensive to others and thus make them want to get away from you?**_

Thanks so much for taking a read of my Introduction. I look forward to checking out everyone else’s posts!!

Kage

Hey Kage, welcome to the forum!

That was a very nice intro. Thanks for all the info. To answer your questions: It is possible to OD (Over Dose) on [pheromones](https://a314.com/), causing many different adverse reactions, including an almost invisibility towards the opposite sex, irritability, and the like. Each pheromone has its own reactions to people, and everyone acts differently, so it is recommended you start out at one spray, and move up once a month until you see a reaction for people. For somone so addicted as ourselves to pheromones, this seems unlikely, so I’m gonna say, go no more than 3 sprays daily to begin with. I always found if to be a good starting point myself. But then other times, two works just as well.

If you read a few of the stickies from the intro section on the forum, you can find a metric ton of knowledge to help you become newbie to pro pheromone researcher.

Also, if you have anymore questions let us know, we are here to help! Best of luck!

Hi Kage,

So… if you found your perfect guy, would that be a “Kage match”? 😃

Welcome to the forums. Yeah, it’s possible to overdose on pheros, but it’s more common with some of the ones like androstenone, which can produce very negative reactions in high doses. Spaceland is a deliberate OD that can make people spacey. And pretty much everyone douses themselves in pheros in the first rush of excitement when they first get them - it’s your “phero baptism”.

With the softer pheros like [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/), the worst results you’re likely to get are ghosting, where your signature is so strong that it confuses people and they ignore you completely.

Good luck and have fun.

Thanks so much! This is such good information (for the pocket book too 🙂) One small followup question: If I have [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/), Shine and MX135, can I wear all together and if so, how many sprays of each? One?

Thanks so much for the information!!

Haha…I guess it WOULD be a “kage match” super clever 😃 So, in reading your response, I actually believe I have experienced the ghosting effect before. I was guilty of the ‘newby douse’ I have to admit. SO happy to know I can hold back. I asked this to the other responder to my post, but thought I would double-up in case:

If I have three or four type of pheros that I purchased (i.e. [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/), Shine and MX135 for example) can I wear them together and if so how many sprays of each? So for example, could I spray two of each or would that be waaaay too much?

thanks for all the help!

I wouldnt think so. They are all different pheromones, and would compliment each other at that dosage. but, you would smell like you sprayed on 6 sprays of perfume, which can be difficult to explain sometimes lol. If you have them all scented that same, they will work even better together and you wont get a cross fragrance smell that can be weird sometimes. Also, those 3 are very good choices for you to start with, are you sure youre not already a pro?? 🙂

Thanks! Newby to the Androtics brand and actually kinda new to the science behind pheromones other than the basic “you’ll attract more people” generic knowledge. I just read quite a few posts to determine which types to buy before making my first purchase. That MX135 seems to be a fantastic one! I’ve only had it for a week and a half, but I absolutely see what everyone was saying about it. VERY good stuff.😃

Welcome to Pherotalk Kage!

We are so glad that your panic and mad goggling led you right to us and we plan to take full advantage of you. Mwahhahahah!

Your introduction was vibrant and fascinating as I am sure yo are.

To answer some of your questions. Yes, you can OD on the products , it’s just like you wear too much perfume and the smell no matter how good it is drives persons away instead of drawing them to you like intended.

With everything there needs to be balance and pheromones are no exception.

Yes, you can wear Instant shine, MX135 and [Instant sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) together. In fact, we encourage after getting a hang of each product you mix and match to create your own amazing combo. You asked for the dosage etc. I am afraid that is something you have to find out all by yourself young warrior. 😛

We are all different so the pheromones work differently on us in terms of sprays, dosage and location. Personally, 3 sprays gets me the right amount of hits. I get hits from different products in different locations. Have fun testing them out and trying them out.

However, if I want to wear a series of products I ensure that all of them are not very sweet smelling ( I like to customize my products with grapefruit and coconut) and that I wear each in the areas that I get better hits from.

For example : Instant shine 3 sprays to the wrist
CTTM 2 about 2 sprays to my hair
Instant sexiness 2 - 3 sprays to my neck and chest

You will get it eventually, now have fun and be sure to share your experiences with us ladies in the women’s section. 😃

Your GC will be issued soon!
