# The Basecoat Approach

**Basecoat Mix 1.1**

I’ve been using this stuff on a consistent basis. I’ve gravitated to mix 2.0 for work situations, but for non-work situations I still often use 1.0, which is heavier in nols.

This morning I was putting on some of batch 1.0 and the sprayer started sucking air. That means I’ve gone through 30 ml since the first post in this thread. I like it well enough that I’m going to whip up another 30 ml of batch 1 later today.

Since I’ve pretty much settled down on two sprays of mix 1.0 I increased the dosage in this iteration (1.1) to 25 [mcg](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microgram)/spray of each:

Alpha androstenol  
Beta androstenol  
Androsterone  
Androstenone  
Androstadienone  
P-93

It’s [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/)-rich and somewhat expensive but one squirt and I’m ready to go. No added scent this time, so I can vary my cover scent according to mood. This should last twice as long as my last batch of 1.0 at my current rate of consumption of this mix.
