how good do you guys find it to be? Are the scents close to the real thing? also, are the oil effects too much subtler?
The prices are amazing so it’s got that going.
Thanks
Danny

No, if it’s hot out they’ll diffuse nicely. Some will be lighter than others for example Angel from thecommonscents is really strong while BY by Dolce and Gabbana is a little less intense. So I’m sure it depends on the characteristics of each scent, but if you dilute the oils in PA in cologne percentages or EDP percentages it’ll smell more like the real alcohol based cologne as well as diffuse a lot better than oil.

so when you get the bottle are you supposed to dilute it or just apply it in oil form, it’s not clear. They give mixing instructions and also have options for some to be roll on or spray on but not for others, which leaves me wondering what kind of top they have.
thanks

They are roll top bottles by default. They do have where you can buy the stuff necessary to dilute it down to a spray but even just rolling some on and then spraying the pheros over works very well. As to whether or not the scents are spot on, a lot depends on which scent. Green Irish Tweed smells nothing like it. Millsime Imperial Smells pretty close and is a great [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) cover. Another place you might like that is slightly more expensive but the scents seem a bit more consistently like the originals is [www.Haywardenterprises.com](http://www.Haywardenterprises.com). The Common Scents is pretty good also, though.

Just bought like 8 oz of fragrance oil off them for 20 bucks with shipping. Honestly I just hope it smells good it doesn’t have to smell exactly like it

Bottom line is, if you’re broke as a joke this will be your best bet to get colognes that smell almost as good (and in some cases identical) as the original thing.

As Snoopy said they come just in oil form, either in roll top or 30 ml spray bottles. But the spray tops are still oil, so in other words they shoot oil. You can also have the option of getting the scents in a body wash or incense.

If you want to dilute them purchase some perfumers alcohol and in a 5 ml bottle add 1 ml of the oil then just fill the rest with perfumers alcohol. This should give you 20% cologne strength scent and diffusion. I actually just add 1 ml and a half then just fill the rest with PA. I like my scents strong.

Exactly! The Tobacco Vanille from the Common Scents is uncommonly good! 🙂

Yeah, although now I’m curious to try Hayward. It sounds like they really strive to make their oils smell identical as the original. I just wish they had Body Kouros oil!

Haward does have where you can request they add a scent. I requested Original Vetiver, A\*Men Pure Malt and Body Kouros. _fingers crossed_

Their Lanvin Vetiver and Vetiver Frozen (can you tell I like Vetiver?) both smell identical to the original. I love the Milsime Imperial from them as well. I actually have a Xeryus Rouge type from them that I combined with the last of my (originally) [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) scented ICM 1b oil and it smells almost exactly like the original. More importantly, women DIG IT! 🙂

i just got baldessarini ambre, lanvin vetyver, green irish tweed, and tobacco vanille tom ford. The tobacco vanille smells AMAZING. the other ones are kind of sharp to be honest but I’ll test them out. Tobacco vanille however is incredible. I might have to grab a giant bottle of that next time I have money.

Keep in mind that in oil form they smell stronger, if you dilute them in PA it’ll smell more like its original.

Oh OK I’ll try that. The oil tobacco vanille smells so great though. It’s smooth and delicious.

If you mix in a phero concentrate, like androstadienone (which is 1000 mcg per ml), with one of these then applied them to your skin would it behave like an oil-based product?

What I like to do is apply some of the oil scent and then a spray or two of the oil scent diluted in alcohol for maximum scent strength.

Not sure, but that sounds like a question for Mr. Oil himself. Snoopy!
