I loved the Kids in the Hall, and brain candy was pretty funny, too.

Also, Lor…some women are just jerks. I have no idea if the pheromones were affecting her, but I’ve had a few people treat me like that before..and I honestly think it’s just because they are assholes who are having a self-righteous, selfish, it’s-all-about-me type of day. Just chatting away on a personal call while they’re at work…and I’m standing there, waiting for them to help me…I hate that crap. It’s so ridiculous.

I soooooo wish you could have just nonchalantly walked up to her desk, put your finger on the phone cradle to disconnect her call, and said, “SO SORRY to interrupt your personal calls at work, but I’m here to pick up my son.” followed with a steely glare.

Heh…It’s nice to dream about fighting rudeness with rudeness, isn’t it? I live in a small town so people pretty much have to be nice to each other..because everyone knows everyone else, and if you’re rude then people will hold you accountable. It sounds like that lady thought that she could get away with it, so I hope she gets what she deserves out of life.

_oh no doubt_.

one thing though,

i cant help feeling like if i tell her in any way that shes rude, shes won.
telling a rude person they are rude is like congratulating them on a job well done.
they eat it up and smile.

i find an uncontrollable amount of satisfaction in being incongruent with my actions, because it remains long after i leave.
like smiling and gushing how great she was to allow me to see my son, how i knew other people comming in are way more imortant than i am and apologise for having been in her way.
**not** sarcastically, but _as realistically as possible_.

thats what in retrospect i wish i had done lol

she would have thought

That’s the way to do it. At least you would be clearing up any residual stress from the encounter and having fun with it, and you will have your secret laugh…

Lor,

You hit it right on with that one. It is so much fun to watch the befuddled look when you are in a heated argument and with a raised tone you start to agree with everything. It confuses the hell out of people.

Actually… I agree with you, Lor. It’s much more effective to kill them with kindness than to be rude back. Because if someone is that much of a royal jerk, there’s no competing with them! They’re going to make damn sure that they out-rude you every time. The kind approach is much better.

Also, your new pic is SUPER-CUTE!! 😛 I love it!
