I’ve been reading around about est, and it’s said to give off the ‘everyone thinks your wonderful’ and ‘glowing’ vibe, how is this different from the effect of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)? From the description IS has a ‘brilliant masculine effect’, is est more feminine? ---

Hmmm thats a hard one LOL. Est is the female equivalent of Androstadienone. It is said to have mood elevating properties. Men have reported it really makes them feel attracted and close to a women. Women have reported increased cuddling and attention with it. Instant shine is TAA and is mood enhancing as well. It seems to make you seem brighter, full of life and youth, It causes others to be more upbeat and feel good, Kind of like “man its great to be alive” feeling. Thanks for explaining that Tisha!! I was thinking about making a few small mixes and wanted to add some est to them after reading Tater’s journal, that guy is a nut 😃 reps for you! ---

Hiya 🙂 I can add a little bit about EST as well because I’ve been working with it for a while now. As Tisha said, it is a soothing comfort molecule. It strongly affects men, and I’ve seen women respond to it too. I read in the archives that it is typically produced by pregnant ladies. I’d imagine that its purpose is, oxytocin-like, to encourage bonding with the papa and the rest of the family-to-be. In tweensy little amounts, EST is the active ingredient in the men’s Realm product which is super popular with lots of guys. They can speak for themselves, but it seems to give them great self-effects when they wear it. The Androtics version is much much stronger than men’s Realm, so it has noticeable effects on guys who are at all inclined to nest. As Tisha said, [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) is something else. Based on the TAA molecule which is exclusive to Androtics, IS is another mood lifter. It is less cuddly and nesty than EST. TAA seems unisex to me, similar to androstenol. Like androstenol, it can boost an image of youthfulness and health. But instead of creating chatter like androstenol does, IS seems to draw men physically closer to you, while generating big cheesy relaxed smiles. Finally, with a few notable exceptions, I’ve found only minimal results with EST on guys under 28 or so. Instant Shine works great on all ages. Hope that helps! Kit ---

I used Realm for years and have yet to notice anything except the spicy scent! I read the EST contents are a mere .005% of the volume, so not much in there. Back in the day, I used to spike Realm with androstenone when on dates. Actually extremely effective and got me in tons of serious trouble. Incidentally, men’s Realm improves greatly with a little clove and pine EO mixed in. I also have some chemset EST and played with it extensively this past year, using most of a 10 ml bottle. I applied during stressful situations (directing concerts and performances) and just hanging out. I even dabbed directly under my nose. Sad to say, as a standalone, it did absolutely nothing for me. I didn’t notice any effects on those around me either. Perhaps it’s like cops–only really works when used on a live 'n attractive woman. ---
