I can maybe understand the guy fetish thing, guys can be turned on by just about anything given the right circumstances. But personally, I can’t wrap my head around a woman wanting to make her husband into a slave - even as a fantasy. And if it were a woman’s fantasy, man this is really a boring and tame fantasy.

Me, I like my guy to be a bit unpredictable and always ready to take the upper hand. I like my man to be a real man, not a wimp ass douche bag.

Well power exchange play and relationships can be very intense. Definitely not boring. Generally most people don’t stay in one role but many do. Some women find men who always take the upperhand and are incapable of submitting or find submitting to a woman unerotic as extremely dull. Some women like the power rush. Really, what is a “real man” ?

Well if you are talking energy exchange and willingness to surrender to that, we are talking a whole nuther ball game than the ego/fantasy driven games of submission and domination.

In that regard my husband is also masterful at submitting.

I think fantasy for the most part is a way to avoid the discomfort of intense intimacy. That isn’t always the case, though. I also know that if you’ve mastered intense intimacy first, fantasy then becomes just fun and games. It doesn’t control you. You control it.

OK. Here goes with the Copulins report: EOW from LS.

**Usage** : first one dab philtrum (bit under the nose). Haven’t shaved in a few days so have a beard.

**Smell** : not as bad as I’d imagined given the reactions. Maybe I’ve just gotten used to it [cough] emanating from Women in my longish life.

**Self-effect** s: Nothing, nada, zilch. I’m pretty sensitive and self-aware to mental and physical effects having had a lifetime of ‘chemical exploration’: I can definitely feel self-effects with communication pheromones and most [sexual pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/sensual-pheromones/). The first time I sniffed P83 for example it gave me wood so quickly and so strongly it made me laugh out loud for 10 minutes. It was like a bionic comedy penis.

So I waited 20 minutes for the copulins to produce an effect. Nothing… I upped the dosage to two drops, waited 10 minutes and still nothing.

I am now on four/five drops and it’s a hour since first application. I smell like a vagina (and because it’s under my nose the _whole world_ smells like a vagina) but still\*\* no detecable self-effects whatever.

**In the interests of science I had a look at some good porn to see whether I would have a different, quicker or a stronger reaction.** Nope, same as usual \*\*(by that I mean my arousal is mentally controllable: i.e. I can “turn off” through normal mental effort). Thinking it might be purely physical response and need a “kick start” I started some exercise routines. Increased stamina?.. maybe, but it’d be so slight as to be almost undetectable and if I were running an real experiment I’d call it statistically insignificant.

So… I’m not reacting to the LS EOW, which is a shame because the self-effects sounded interesting.

It is very hard to assess whether or not you are getting the rise in testosterone from self effects, since looking for something specific in yourself can block it. It is a paradoxical reaction that is well known in the mental health field, and a technique that is actually used to reduce phobias and anxiety.

There are saliva test kits which you can order online. You will need to send the test kits back to the lab for analysis. I’m not sure how accurate they are compared to blood tests, but it is a better method for checking your baseline against any rise or fall than nothing but subjective self reporting; and was the method used in the Jutte study.

I assume you mistyped and mean “does not” in the line above.

But here’s the thing, I _can_ smell something! I’m now at 7 drops. It’s slightly ‘musty’, faintly ‘cheesy’ and ‘vinegary’ and it’s right under my nose. I doubt it is simply psychosomatic otherwise that acid in the 90’s really has taken its toll on my senses.

Um. Now I am confused.

I agree, I smell the musty cheesy and vinegary in EoW.

I have never smelled those smells _on a woman_.
If a gal smelled like that to me, I wouldnt go further.
But thats me.

I believe to some degree EoW works,
otherwise I would not use it.
It needs to be covered IMO for a gal to not come-across as needing a doctor,
but the fact that it gets a response is why alot of us still use it,
so I agree it is not psychosomatic.
I never subscribed to the psychosomatic thing with copulin products,
because todays products smell so _off_ that there has to be more to it 😃

I am familiar with something similar to what you describe above to do with testing called the The _Hawthorne effect_ which \*\*works in a related but opposite way (ie;- the knowledge of being ‘watched’ ‘triggers’ behavioural changes, not suppresses them).

The saliva test is a step too far as I was after some _noticeable self-effects_. Some others have mentioned these self-effects in the forums, but nothing conclusive so it was a personal test for me. **Re: Pheromones and Bodybuilding** ([Pheromones and Bodybuilding](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/pheromones-and-bodybuilding/3518/3))
**Re: What pheromones/mixes work at the gym?** ([What pheromones/mixes work at the gym?](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/what-pheromones-mixes-work-at-the-gym/1633/11))
As I mentioned I am quite used to spotting behavioural, personality and mood changes in myself based on a great decade-plus of ‘chemical assistance’ and I caught nothing. Nothing before, nothing during, nothing after - baseline all the way.

It could be that the first thing the testosterone-spike is ruin my self-awareness though 🙂 - now that would be interesting.

Good luck with your formulation and testing. I’ll be interested in trying it out when it’s ‘done’. The EOW’s going to the back of the cabinet for now.

Well, I’m sorry that you aren’t getting the effects you were shooting for. Tisha has been talking about the idea that these work best when worn by a woman. But the Jutte study showed the rise over baseline testosterone when the gentlemen sniffed them from the vials/bottles. With this much (150%) increase you would expect some noticeable effects.

Any way, if you PM me, I’ll send you a sample of something and we can see if that does it for you. If you don’t see anything, you can rub this on a willing test subject (female) and see if you have a response that way.

So far with the very dilute cops I’ve sent out, there has been a high level of positive response to the TG’s when they are worn by the women testers, but no libido increase in Steve, who is testing by wearing them. (He does like the smell, though, and does seem to be getting some mood elevation effects.) The next round will be much higher concentration.

This is one that you will want to start low with and then move up in dosage until you get the effects you want. There is some attenuation with time and constant exposure, so expect to be able to tolerate higher concentrations as time goes on… but that attenuation disappears if you haven’t worn it for a while.

I see mild effects at 1.2 mcg/spray, but it doesn’t get really strong for me until over 7 mcg/spray.

I made the mistake back in December of wearing 12.5 mcg of P103 when going out to dinner with my husband and kids. This kids were acting drunk, and my husband almost wrecked the car twice. We were very lucky.

So, yeah, test this out at home until you know how it effects others and yourself. P102 is very similar.

Not conclusive by any means, but this double-blind study might be a signpost on the way._**[Female Pheromone](https://phera.com/) and Physical Exercise Improve (sp) Endocrine Status in Elderly Japanese Men**_
[http://www.anti-aging.gr.jp/webjournal/thesis/vol0506/pdf/024out.pdf](http://www.anti-aging.gr.jp/webjournal/thesis/vol0506/pdf/024out.pdf)
Particularly interesting is the Fig.3 graph of testosterone production after exposure to Copulins. After the initial spike the **post-exercise** **testosterone production seems to then fall below the control level**. In other words:_After an initial spike in measured testosterone after exercise when exposed to copulins, the level of testosterone then steadily falls over the following weeks to levels below those of men who have not been exposed to copulins_.
The trajectory of the testosterone decline in Fig. 3 might imply that testosterone production could fall some way further over a longer term than 5 weeks. Interestingly the testosterone level is falling faster in week 4-5 than it is in 3-4 (marked on the graph attached to this post) which - to me - implies that the level of testosterone is not about to ‘level out’ for a few weeks at the very least.

Again, for the avoidance of doubt: it’s not a proof of anything. But to my reading of the study there seems to be a clear, gradual, steady decline in testosterone production (after the initial spike) when exposed to copulins over a five week period. Of course ‘YMMV’: This is in elderly Japanese men, and coupled with an exercise regime, yadda, yadda.

It’s a shame that the study only went on for 5 weeks as I’d love to see at what level the testosterone decline eventually bottomed out to (and/or if it ever recovered back to pre-copulin exposure levels with the continued exposure to copulins).

If the article is not available from the link above, I have a local PDF I can send you.

>
>

I’m a little confused here. I’ll go back and read the article more thoroughly when I have a little more time. But here are some initial problems I have with this study.

1. The [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) they tested, what exactly is it?. These come in 5 ml bottles, are produced somewhere in Ukraine, and sold on scam type internet sites. As far as I could tell from the study, nothing was done to ensure that the product was the same in all applications, or to even identify, measure and record what was in the product. In other words, other than the name, they had no control (or perhaps knowledge) of what they were applying.

2. Two controlled variables, one uncontrolled. The study actually took a look at two controlled variables, the exercise and the age of the participants. The uncontrolled variable, was Osmopherene. The week three dip could be accounted for by the excercise, or age of the participant, or different amounts (or lack) of fatty acids or other ingredients in the product, other uncontrolled factors. None of this seems to have been considered.

3. Lack of effect on Testosterone. According to the paper:

> [@](#):
>
> **TESTOSTERONE**
>
> Although there was no statistically significant effect of the Osmopherene application, the only increase in salivary testosterone during the training occurred in the group exposed to pheromone.
>
> …]
>
> The concentration of testosterone in the saliva sampled after exercise did not differ from the pre-exercise levels (212 + 4 pg/ml and 208 + 5 pg/ml, respectively, _t_=0.85, df=88, _P_=0.39).

1. Age of participants was only the elderly. As we age everything gets out of whack, and we can’t generalize anything to any other population. And since there was no statistically significant rise in testosterone, the dip, really can’t be considered statistically significant either. All these minor rises and falls could be accounted for without the product.

It seems to me that the only conclusion you can make here is that a) the product, Osmophorene, is not effective at raising testosterone to any statistically significant amount, in elderly, Japanese men, during exercise. Okay, so don’t buy this product… if you are elderly, and Japanese, and physically active. And it seems a pretty broad brush to call this study a study of the effects of female pheromones…

The bold above is mine… **_this isn’t even a complete profile of copulins_. It only contains _two_ of the _six_ fatty acids found in ovulating women**.
