I purchased some game scent ammo double strength about a month ago. I can tell you that it does work well but having a problem. The girls that I have known for a while have commented that they don’t like the game scent as well as my staple winter cologne, Armani code black. I was thinking about trying some unscented double ammo and making my own mix of code black and ammo. The game scent is just a bit too strong for me too. Has anybody else tried this? ---

It would probably dilute Armani too much. Of course it depends on the cologne but most lose their character in a 1:1 mix. In my experience you need a 4:1 or 5:1 mix of cologne to mones to keep most of the essential cologne intact. I loved the original [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) scent but, yeah, I can’t bring myself to wear Game. ---

Just spray on unscented ammo, then spray on your favorite cologne on top. This way you can have variety and don’t have to invest in large batches of anything. ---

The spray 'n cover routine works great if you only apply at home. No so convenient while on the run, e.g., in bars, cars and parking lots. If you must be mobile, use two small atomizers, one of Ammo unscented, and another of cologne, and carry in your pocket. I use chemset mones and my fav colognes premixed in pocket atomizers. Some of them are ratio “clones” of AE, SOE, etc., but with my preferred scent. The variety and convenience is great. However it takes a lot of expense and experimentation to get started and get it right. My fav starter is NPA mixed 1:5 with Burberry Weekend. That mix is difficult to fuck up. ---

So you guys are telling me AMMO is no longer available in the original scent? ARG!!! and crap. My husband doesn’t wear cologne much but has been AOK with using original AMMO ‘cause it’s one step and the light scent wasn’t overpowing. There ain’t no gettin’ away from the game scent. It’s very strong and lingering and if ya dun like it tuff, 'cause you ain’t never gonna be able to cover that one. BOO!!! ☹ Frankly, game scent may be diffusive but…phewy. At least it’s not ACK…ICK..AKUTO! I really can’t stand that one! Guess it’s unscented AMMO for him from now on and he’ll have to cover. 🙄 Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to get AMMO in a custom scent of the original? Hey, that means they could even charge extra for it! Sounds like win-win to me. Oh well, that’s how it goes in Pheroland. They come…they go. \* sniff \*…or not, in this case. Bella ---

Not a fan of the game scent either. I never smelled the [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) version which I’m assuming was the original. Where would I be able to find the unscented ammo. I’ve looked around a few times but didn’t see it, and I only started hearing about it within the last 2 days. ---

It’s been recommended that you use the spray and cover method over mixing the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) and cologne, as its very hard to make sure of the ratio of each spray when you just mix them. Sometimes it could be 60%pheromones, 40% cologne… sometimes it could be 20% pheromones, 80% cologne. So for better, more accurate results, stick to spray and cover! ---

spray and cover is the only way to go. And there’s no excuse with to-go sizes. Except for maybe the “they don’t have the one I want in stock” excuse. But I digress… ---

You ask for the unscented version by going to the “custom addition” link on the smartmones website, then the Men’s Fragrance link. Then you fill out what scent you want to change it to, as well as which item in your cart you’re changing the scent of. However, it does void the guarantee, so keep that in mind. Oh, and i just checked, and there is the Ammo scent under custom additions, as well as Game, [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/), and unscented. I guess you missed out on HS chemistry! Use a graduated pipette and chemset mones of known concentration and it’s easy. For example, to duplicate the mone to carrier ratio of TE, mix 5ml of cologne to every 1ml of NPA. I even like the neroli scent of IH more, I think it’s a bit stronger too. Ammo smells strong the first few minutes, after that I hardly notice it. (I’m a newbie.)
