This journal shall be my introduction into the world of [pheromones](https://a314.com/). I begin by giving you some background about me, the “lab rat” as I now consider myself for these testing purposes; a Caucasian male, 43 years of age, overweight but as comparative description “built like a lumberjack” not one of the fat, trench coat wearing social misfits you may see in a bookstore or comic convention arguing with friends over who would win in a fight between Thor, Superman and The Hulk. 😕 Blessed with male pattern baldness on the crown of the head 🙄, clear complexion with no deformities, tattoos, scars or piercings and of course most importantly, overall adequate hygiene. (I stink nice all the time) With regard to my public presence, since turning 40 I have come to learn that I no longer believe in labels or stylish clothing, as I refuse to be a billboard for a designer if they won’t pay me to advertise their products on my ass, my feet or my chest. My experiences have taught me that the more expensive the clothing the less quality it has as many of the higher end shirts and jeans I have purchased in the past never last more than 6 months to a year, where by comparison an average pair of Arizona jeans from JC Penney have lasted 3+ years. My overall public appearance is as a general everyday guy. I hold a career which has an authoritative posture to it working for the “US Gubmint” and my position already carries with it a modicum of respect. I have as of today, purchased the “Killer Pheromone Newbie Kit ([https://a314.com/](https://a314.com/))” and my objectives are as follows: I am going to interact with people as I always do and let these products prove themselves to either work or not. I will still maintain my great sense of humor, I will continue to make myself approachable and I will still carry the same confidence and slight swagger I usually do. I would like to see first; A314 do what it is advertised and increase that “aura” for me especially at work in the field when I am out interacting with the public. This is the primary objective of my purchase and this result will be the most important of my purchase. Next, after the methodical steps to ascertain the effectiveness of A314 have been determined it will then allow me to begin solo trials with a social product, IS, IH, IO and report the findings as I perceive them. After the conclusion of these tests I will then progress to Ammo and place myself in an environment where this product can have free range to interact and produce results as advertised. Once all the individual solo tests have been completed the plan will then be to start mixing trials and the real experimenting for me will then begin. I thank those who went before and whose journals have given me insights on what to use, where to use them and understand when they are being effective, your information has been invaluable. This concludes the introductory portion of my journal and I wait patiently for my order to arrive and look forward to entertaining you (or boring you to tears quite possibly):o with my systematic, methodical approach to my interaction with pheromones and the pheromones interaction in my world. **THEY HAVE ARRIVED!** My thanks first of all to you cool cats at AD for the warp speed delivery with only a Sunday getting in the way. Also my thanks to Mickaelia for the 2x upgrade on IO and IH along with the nice little message and happy face,🙂 sometimes it’s the little things that seperate good customer service and great customer service.😉 And now the trials begin. I have read through a few postings for we uneducated few and I will be adopting [Steve’s](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/how-to-find-your-sweet-spot/22146/1)[recommendation](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/how-to-find-your-sweet-spot/22146/1) on finding the sweet spot: Use one (1) spray each day for three days Take two days completely off pheromones Use two (2) sprays each day for three days Take two days completely off pheromones Use three (3) sprays each day for three days Take two days completely off pheromones Use four (4) sprays each day for three days Take two days completely off pheromones I am going to simplify this and just do 1 shot of A314. In reading the post by Oasis314 ([Application points 101: a guide to where on the body to apply pheromones](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/application-points-101/53343)) I will apply to the neck and start there as it is described as a good all around spot to begin with. **A314b Spray 1x to adam’s apple** : **Time of application** : 1249pm **Weather** : 67 degree F; Humidity 71% and Cloudy **Environment intended** : Office, 68 degree internal temp. desk inside 3 wall cubicle **Mood before use** : Calm, typical work day with no real stressors to note. **Self effect noticed** : After first 15 to 20 minutes the only real discernible effect is the feeling of being _“taller”_ that in and of itself says that this product has done _something_. Am I subconsciously standing more erect? 😛 :oha ha I said _erect_…ahem! ok where was I…is my self perception being effected by the A314? Maybe a little of both? Bottom line, so far there is a slight alteration to my self perception and that is an ok start, it’s reassuring to know that I didn’t buy diluted bovine urine in flower water. **3:49 PM** - As an added self observation note, it has been 3 hours since the initial application and most of the scent has faded markedly with only slight hints of the product when I turn my head one way or another, there is however, a lingering warmth at my throat within the area where I sprayed the A314 earlier today. Have there been any reports of allergic reactions? If I start developing a rash or strange growths then we may have an issue with continued use but for now we are still go for the moon Houston. 🆒 **Mood after use** : Calm no real change of notice. **Observations on others (Hits)**: **None.** I know, I know, anti-climactic ain’t it? I know you may be thinking I missed something but I didn’t. I have had enough micro facial-expression recognition and body language training though my employer that I can detect very subtle differences when people change from their normal patterns of behavior and today was not one of those days sadly. Just no effect on anyone. Not letting this turn into a negative though as it does possibly answer one distinct element in that one spray may not be the number for my sweet spot. Additionally, I remember reading in other posts from phero wizards much wiser than I that there may be an adjustment period as those who have worked around me for quite some time are used to my _normal pheromone signature_ and this initial change in my mones may not have any effect…yet. 2 days left of A314 1 spray trials. The only downside to this schedule is my 2 days off from mones happen to fall on Friday and Saturday and those bottles of Ammo and TUTH are just leering at me enticing me to _go out and play_, but alas being the analytical skeptic that I am, one product at a time to ensure that I understand what A314 does for my current situation. Day 2 A314b Spray 1x to Adam’s apple/throat **Time of application** : 1005am **Weather:** 65 degrees; Humidity 50% and partly cloudy **Environment intended** : Office **Mood before use** : Slightly on edge, after coming into work, riding the motorcycle on the interstate tends to raise the heart rate a little. **Self effect noticed:** Applied A314 after arriving at work as I didn’t want to chance the little bit of sweat that occurs when I ride with all the gear to possibly diminish the product. No real effect noticed other than the pleasant fragrance. **Mood after use** : neutral no real change in demeanor, thoughts, feelings or other internal stimulus. **Observations on others (Hits):** For the most part none. There is one exception and I am trying to ascertain if it qualifies as a hit. For most of the day it was business as usual and I noticed nothing different in others behavior. I even went to a Starbucks around noon just to interact with people who may not be used to my normal [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) signature and still nothing noticed, the employees were polite as expected and I was treated as I usually am in every Starbucks I go to. Around 145pm I went into a coworkers office and he (we can call him Mr. V) is what I would call a definite beta male. High regard for authoritative figures and doesn’t like conflict. Not much of a social person enjoys being at home and rarely goes out. He is nice enough but it is obvious he has some esteem issues and remains a little withdrawn unless initiated into conversation. On this day I initiated conversation with him as our team of 7 was reduced to a team of 3 thanks to business travel, sick kids and who knows what else and only 1 female was in the office for our team and no hits were showing off of her. After finishing my 10-15 minute conversation conversation with Mr. V I returned to my desk to get some items completed; fast forward about 2 hours, Mr. V came back to my area, normally he just passes my cubicle and maybe stops to BS for a second and then on with his day. This time he stopped and chatted and started demonstrating all the ringers he had on his phone, playing a sort of name that tune with Movie themes, he said he assigns each theme to people in the contact list and after running through a few he elected to tell me he was assigning a particular ring tone to my contact info (this is something he has never done which is why I suspect maybe it is a hit based on A314b influence) So who knows maybe this is a hit, a bit of a curve ball having my first hit come from a male after reading so many journals of all the libertine adventures abounding. Though A314 is about respect and being a recognized man so it does fit within the M.O. of the chemical sphere of influence. All thoughts welcome and thanks again for stopping to read. 🆒 ---

If you want my honest opinion nice quality posts, A314 is a tricky beast, in spray form I would think it would be more powerful off the bat then fizzle out after a few hours. I prefer oil based a314 hands down, lasts 10-24 hours sometimes. A314 takes time plan and simple but when you let it work it’s magic the result are far from subtle. After you get done with the [A314 spray](https://a314.com/product/a314-classic-spray/), try IO I feel it really shines if you are “looking for hits” be prepared to get you head talked off. I say at X2 1-2 sprays should suffice. Oh and about the a314 try putting it on the sides of your neck by your jugular veins, will help it diffuse better. ---

Day 3 A314b Spray 1x to inside forearms: Time of application: 900am Weather: 65 degree F; Humidity 20% and Sunny Environment intended: Off site work project, indoors public setting Mood before use: Calm, typical work day with no real stressors to note. Self effect noticed: A little more focused I think, was a bit more organized in getting ready to get my day started. Mood after use: Calm no real change of notice. Observations on others (Hits): None. Was in a small office with primarily older patrons and families. All those I interacted with did have a general respect for me and my purpose while on site and nothing out of the ordinary was noticed. There was one mature lady in her 50’s who stopped in to chat with the office manager and she did include me in her conversation after I was introduced to her. Cordial demeanor polite no IOIs, no non-verbal cues perceived. Short and sweet and now we come to the 2 days off for Friday and Saturday and starting Sunday we up the doses to 2 sprays of A314b and slowly but surely I will find that sweet spot…I hope 😃 To all a great weekend and thanks to those offering advice and opinions. **I am not ashamed to confess I am ignorant of what I do not know ~ Marcus Cicero** ---

Mood after use: neutral no real change in demeanor, thoughts, feelings or other internal stimulus. Observations on others (Hits): None noted. Was outside the office interacting with people for first time. Respect already present with nature of business and no variations in behavior notated. As I come to the close of 3 day trials @ 1 spray I am confident to conclude that 1 spray is nowhere near my sweet spot. 2 days off now and back at it Sunday with 2 spray trials. Sunday is supposed to be the starting day of the new week with A314b 2 spray trials. Since I will not be in a work environment and out by the river with friends I am refraining from using it for another day off and will resume Monday when I return to work. ---

Day 4 _Today began trials of A314b @ 2x sprays._ **Time of application:** 1015am **Area of effect:** Office **Weather:** Indoors 68 degrees **Application points:** 1 spray to each side of neck near jugular. **Self effects:** None noted. Maybe its me I don’t know but I felt nothing. No difference in mood, or attitude, had no real moments of “I’m the man”. I should preface this with the fact that I am not expecting a total transformation of my attitude but a slight change may be nice considering all the others who have experienced such pronounced effects. I am cognizant that we are all chemically different and what may have worked for the many may not work for me. Sure would be nice to feel like a James Bond type even for an hour or so. **Effects on others:** None noted. Made my social rounds around the office and was cordial and friendly as I normally am, but after 2-3 hours there were no real changes in those who work with me on a regular basis. Again not going to see a negative in this day, as these coworkers have been used to one type of pheromone signature from me for 4 years now since I transferred here. This may take a bit. Additionally, I have been reading in the forum that A314b is a lighter mix and may just not be making the impact as the oil would or even the A314a. Tomorrow I will be on the road again for a 3 day trip to a small town south of my job for work reasons and I will have a hotel full of strangers and work site full of people who do not know me that well to experiment and play with. (_I guess that sounded rather lewd didn’t it?_) You know what I meant… So until then I bid you all a wonderful evening and remember; don’t sweat the petty things…and don’t pet the sweaty things. 😃 ---

Day 5 A314b 2x spray trials **Time of application:** 1245pm **Area of effect:** Indoor offices not in my normal area **Weather:** Indoors 68-71 degrees **Application points:** 1 spray to each side of neck just behind ear lobes allowing product to spread down my neckline on its own. **Self effects:** None noted. **Effects on others:** None noted. Interacted with others outside my normal office environment. In a few instances interactions were within the “_personal bubble_” while looking over shoulders as contacts used computers and typed. No real changes in demeanor or actions noted even when very close up. Wondering of A314b is a little too light of a spray because other than my one coworker from earlier I see nothing that is indicating this product is working. So I hope that the moment is coming when just as I think it doesnt work something out of the ordinary and overt takes place. Would be nice to see a distinct positive so I know what a good hit looks like. I am very tempted to use some socials tomorrow as I am going into an adversarial setting where IO and IH would be of value. Don’t want to break the sterility of the A314b trials though. I’m loving the patient testing you’re doing, but IMHO if you need to pause the A314 testing to try out the socials then do so, but make sure you carry on with your methodical testing of A314 - it’s great 🙂 ---

Day 6 And what a strange one it was. **Time of application:** 12pm **Area of effect:** Indoor **Weather:** Indoors 68-71 degrees **Application points:** 1 spray to each side of neck at the jugular **Self effects:** None noted. **Effects on others:** The fun began after my work obligations in this area were done for the day. I went to a mall, a great testing ground full of men and women who don’t know me from Adam and all subject to the A314b. You may be asking how A314b fared earlier in the day? No effect on others around me from what I could tell. Maybe the A314b is too much or not enough I am not certain. How could it be too much you may ask yourself? Glad you inquired. My authoritative position already carried with it an aura if you will that makes others tread carefully. I am given the ability to levy fines and cause major operational disruptions to regulated parties in the transportation industry if they are found to be violating certain codes and laws. Knowing this you could understand a little better when I say that upon my arrival to conduct inspections, interrogations or investigations (among the other fun things that start with the letter “I”) as soon as I enter the building I call it the “Darth Vader effect” managers and supervisors tense up and start calling coworkers on their phones to let them know I am in the area - 😃 It’s not a relationship of fear but by its nature can be somewhat adversarial as the transportation sector is in the business to make money and sometimes our rules and codes inhibit their ability to make more money than usual so at times they will cut corners on safety and security if it means increasing the profit margin slightly. Hence why my position exists. So I am thinking this A314b may not be working on these folks because they already respect the position and 99% of time treat me very properly and cordially. The 1% are the ones who screwed up, don’t care about getting fired, fined and/or arrested and no amount of A314 is going to sooth their savage beast into submission. Now back to the mall. It was about 2 hours after initial application that I walked into the cellular store who provides my service to inquire about a new phone I obtained that was performing substandard. I am not sure what the deal was but the agent who was engaging me in conversation. Initially he started out maybe 6-7 feet away and cordial, polite and listening to my questions which were legitimate concerns about the product performing sub standard as to my experiences. Within a minute I realized he was now standing less than 5 feet away and started subconciously posturing in an aggressive manner. His voice was monotone and answers curt and slightly condescending with inferences to my opinion of the phone being wrong and that since the phone is the top of the line (Samsung Galaxy SIII) - nothing could be wrong with it. I could see his hands flexing slightly and his muscles tensing noticibly, his eyes locked just below my chin and I thought to myself, am I going to need to drop this fucker and drag his ass down on federal charges? Because I am unahppy with my cell phone?? Really?? I was able to de-escalate the conversation to allow him to save face without exascerbating the situation which would only wind up with us getting injured, and me with a shitload of paperwork on why I was involved in a physical conflict in a retail establishment - and I got enough paperwork to do already without Muhammed Ali over here wanting to go a few rounds. I left the establishment and thought, it can’t be the A314b causing him to challenge the Alpha status could it? Had to be a bad day for him and I showed up at the wrong time… Fast forward 30 minutes and while in a shoe store a male clerk whom I could make an educated hypothesis as to his sexual orientation - the effeminate mannerisms, the perfectly manicured and shiny nails (to get my attention to his nails tells you just how much shine there was) and perfectly fitted clothing; addressed me politely and initially inquired as to what I may be looking for. I said I was hoping to find all purpose work boots I could wear on the job or while riding my motocycle, so oil resistant, covering the ankle fully and durable would be nice. His facial expressions changed after about 2 minutes or so of interacting with me (remember I am clean, got deoderant on, popped a breath mint just before arriving at the mall, and I haven’t shit myself or farted so what ever it is..it ain’t me); his mouth was tight lipped and pursed slightly to one side, eyes slightly squinted with one arm up resting his hand on the side of his face the other arm across his torso supporting the elbow of the arm that was up (most times when you cross your arms or place an arm across your body it is a subliminal signal of being guarded). I saw a pair of boots which may be someting I was interested in within a few seconds the man looks at me and excuses himself and leaves, I can hear him a few aisles over telling the assistant store manager, a female, to go and help me or ask me to leave since he just can’t deal with me. The female manager arrives and without a word I turn and start to leave with her behind me apologizing. Two conflicts in one day was enough for off duty fun. 1 employee having a bad day I can understand, but 2 within a half hour and I need to buy a lottery ticket. So if these are hits I don’t think I like A314b too much right now. It could be hazardous to my health. Day 7 forthcoming - the things I do in the name of science 😛 ---

It looks like an IJ effect… with A314/b. Woah! I’ve gotten tested with A314 and knowing how to diffuse the situation, letting others ‘save face’, are some Very Important social skills to have when being the object of anger. BUT, Those are more of the IJ effect, IME, though, in Self Effects, IJ does give me a short temper. Not as bad as A314, which is more of a reduction of patience for others errors or mistakes, but of a I don’t CARE what YOU think. I’d suppose that IShine may work out good to temper your already authoritative vibe. Good post! 🙂 1Alpha Oh, and BTW, ALL new and old cell phones have issues… The new ‘junk’ coming out now a days is really a rush to market, bleeding edge stuff that I usually let it age for a few months AT LEAST before getting it for myself. Some people take it personal! THEY didn’t design the phone or work for the advertising department, so why should you be offended if it doesn’t work as advertised?! ---

Thanks for the feedback maybe I will alter testing today and include 2 sprays of IS. My past readings say there is no OD on socials so 2 sprays should be completely safe for IS. As for cell phone technology I agree its all about rush to market. I got the phone as part of my renewal upgrade agreement and the fact that I refuse to use Apple’s products because I just don’t like the way they do business. That being said these manufacturers are pushing me toward Apple as the iPhone always gets rave reviews. I come from the mindset that if I spend a good chunk of money on technology I expect it to work. I believe that I am jsutified in voicing my dissatisfaction when it does not work as advertised based on the claims it is making. I have no issues with filing a small claims suit and compelling them to either cancel my contract or give me a different phone maybe not top of the line but that does what it says it does. But I will save all this babble for another blog and update later today on my A314b / IS combo and see how that works, hopefully I don’t lose a tooth or get suckerpunched by some anger management flunkie who can’t handle his emotions.
