A long time ago in a galaxy far far away

A jedi master sat under a tree on the edge of a field with his padowan learner. They were contemplating the mysteries of the force, life and the universe.

The padowan turned to his teacher and asked

‘Oh master, will i ever find true love?’

The jedi master considered the question and looked at his student.

‘Before i answer your question my padowan, i would like you to walk round this field and pick me the most beautiful flowers you find, then i will fulfill your request.’

So the Padowan got up and began his quest, an hour latter he return empty handed.

The Jedi master asked him ‘Where are my flowers?’

The padowan replied ‘Oh master every time i came upon beautiful flowers, i did not pick them, i thought if i walked a bit more i would find even more beautiful flowers, eventually i found i have come back to where i started from and realised i could not collect the flowers’

The jedi master replied

‘The answer to your question…’

Well you guys are gonna have to wait for the answer… but have a go and see if you can figure out what the answer was.

I will publish the answer on Tuesday 2nd of october 10pm London time.

Well I will take a shot at it.

While searching for something more beautiful/love you may miss the beauty/love that is right before you. That beauty/love may not be there when you return for it.

Yes more or less…

'The answer is

While looking for the flowers, you found the beautiful ones, but you were to blind to see, you thought there would be more beautiful ones further along… as such you will meet your true love, but you will be to blind to see them, because you beleive there will be someone better will come along. Then one day you will find that your whole life has gone by, and you are alone… like you came back empty handed without the flowers i requested’

The moral is, you probably have met the person who was made for you, and sometimes it is not the person of your dreams, because dreams are just fantasy. Dont look to much into the future concentrate on the here and now.

That’s pretty deep, Good advice in that moral though. Too often do people have far too high of expectations, and like habib said, Our fantasy woman/man is just that, a fantasy. It’s spelled “Padawan” by the way 😃
